Date Format Issue while exporting data

How to change the date format in qualtrics as there are multiple date columns which are shown up as numbers.

Is that column from a survey question or an embedded data field? If it’s embedded data, try clicking on “Options” and then changing the variable type to “Date”?

I tried changing the text to date but when I download the data the column shows up blank.

@sushant_ln1711 hm, okay, well definitely revert it back if that didn’t help! A few other ideas / questions:

  • It looks like your original data is just in the “number” format - like what Excel shows if you change a date to a number (i.e., the number of days since 1/0/1900). If you download the data to Excel and then highlight that column and change the cell format to custom date formatting, is it correct? 
  • I don’t know if this support post would be relevant for your situation? 
  • Are you setting your embedded data via JavaScript, or just in the survey flow? And similarly, what format are you trying to put your embedded data in, when you’re setting it? It looks like acceptable formats are:
