Incorporating MailChimp Audience Data into Final Qualtrics Dataset | XM Community
Skip to main content

Hello all! I am not entirely sure if this is possible but I wanted to ask anyway. So, I manage an online database of approximately 3,000 people. This dataset contains their address, political party, birth year, gender, and more. My company uses MailChimp to distribute surveys for corporate clients who choose to test attitudes on different topics.

My question: without sending our survey through qualtircs, is there a way to incorporate that MailChimp data into our final dataset? If so, how? I have been told you would need to use an external link for each individual person, but I was curious if there was another way, if at all. Thanks!

@BradleyHoush You have a Qualtrics directory that can hold the information in that dataset, so:
1. Personal link with a mailing list and that directory have the info → Set the data ịn survey flow and your data will be automatically pulled to the result.
2. Personal link without the data in directory → You have to export the data and Excel VLOOKUP to match them manually
3. Some how for security reason you can’t make personal link and only have Anonymous link but with some kind of embedded data to piped in the respondent ID (i.e some thing to identify them) from URL → Excel VLOOKUP…..
etc……...
So the key here is not sending survey through Qualtrics or MailChimp. The key is can you some how identify the respondent to match their personal data later.
