Qualtrics Distribution Didn't Send? | XM Community

I sent a survey via a distribution (added a contact list) and on Qualtrics it is marked as sent successfully, but nothing was sent (I included my email as well a a test). It has now been over 30 minutes. I can send again, but don't want people to receive duplicates.

Did the emails ever arrive? Sometimes there can be a lag, even more than an hour, between when Qualtrics says a distribution was sent and when the emails actually reach inboxes.


Hi, It's a possibility that you haven't selected send now and instead send in one hour in email distribution part. If you select 'send now' then it'll take five to seven minutes max to send an email.


I have the same issue. I tried sending a test distribution email to myself and tried using the “Send Now” feature. None of the emails have been delivered despite the status saying “Sent.”


@tawnyaluna  Hm, this sounds like it may not be intended functionality. If you haven't already, I'd recommend reaching out to our Support team, as they are best equipped to handle an issue like this. 😁


@tawnyaluna if you haven’t already, check your junk/spam folder.  When we don’t receive emails from Qualtrics, that is where ours have gone & we needed to whitelist the email address we use for distributions with our IT team.

There were some issue in Qualtrics and distributions were not getting send. They resolved it yesterday, Please check it again if it is working,


I appreciate the message, but the distribution emails are still not working for me (and they are not in my spam folder).
