How can I make a mean of multiple questions? | XM Community

Hello,

I've 10 questions (Matrix Table: Likert - 6 statements 5 scale points each) that I need to take the values and make a mean of them.

I can't figure out how to and would appreciate some help.

Thanks in advance
@ckashila You can do this in Stats IQ-go to the Data and Analysis tab and choose "Collect or Clean Variable." Choose "Formula" as the option to assign new variables and then choose "Average"...
Thank you @AdamK12 , but I don't have the Satats IQ extension.

Is there any other way to do this? Tried "Creating a new Field > New Variable" but it only let's me use 40 variables each time and I need more.
Another option would be to export the data set and create a new field in your preferred data analysis tool (Excel, Tableau, SPSS, R, etc.) where you average the 10 fields, and then analyze the results. That's probably the easiest thing to do.

Is there a way to do this in Qualtrics so that I can get the mean to be pulled into a report?

Is there a way to do this? ^
Also, how can I create a new variable to pull an average from 7 questions without the StatsiQ options?
