Customized slider question with randomization

Hi,
I have a survey in which participants should indicate their preference to choose between 2 products. Like the image I attached here, I like to measure their preference. I have two problems here. I placed the pictures in scale labels, but the text position remains on top even though I chose the button of the graphic option. Second, I want to randomize the order of left and right images between participants. How do you think I can do that? Thank you for your help.

I would use a bipolar matrix table instead of a slider.
For the randomization I would just set up the question in two blocks one AB and the other BA. Then you would just randomize which the user gets. I would also use embedded data with IF statements to total up the two questions.
