How can I display the unselected options from drop-down list multiple times throughout the survey?

Hi all! I am attempting to create a survey that mimics a 'create your own adventure' format. Participants will first be asked to select from one of two questions followed by the respective pre-programmed response. Participants will then be able to choose the next question they would like to ask from a drop-down list of questions. It is expected that the majority of participants will choose a different series of questions. I am having trouble finding a way to carry over the unselected questions from the drop-down list multiple times throughout the study. Using display logic, I tried creating a loop to make all questions link to the correct responses followed by looping back to the original drop-down list but it does not appear to work.
I am thinking that in the background I will have to incorporate some JavaScript, which I am unfamiliar with. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated! If any of this is unclear, please let me know!
Thank you.

You can just use carry forward choices option and then simply select the unselected choices from your parent question. Hope this helps!!
