I want to capture participant response time for each question within a block AND randomize the presentation order of the questions. When I went to randomize the questions in a block, I received a warning that the timer function may be disrupted with randomization. Is there a way to capture response time while still randomizing questions in a block?

You can create timing questions for every question in the block. Then, in Block Options - Question Randomization, choose Advanced Randomization. Keep the timing questions in the Fixed Order Display and move questions into Randomize Question Box. Then, set Questions per page to 2.

AlexB Hi,
This way doesn't work. I tried it myself but when I checked the response time, it's incorrect

do you have any Idea of how to fix it?
