Hello everyone! I've encountered an issue while attempting to transfer ownership of an Imported Data Project that I created under my user profile. When I navigate to transfer ownership from 'Admin' to 'Users,' I only seem to have the option to transfer workflows and surveys, and nothing related to other types of projects. Has anyone else faced this challenge or found a solution? 

When exporting data from the Data & Analysis tab into an Excel or CSV file, certain symbols or characters do not show up correctly in the Excel file. For example, any apostrophes in respondents’ text entry comments show up as “’” instead of an apostrophe. If a respondent wrote “aren’t,” it will display as “aren’t” in the CSV file. In Qualtrics, it does show up correctly, just not when exporting the data to Excel formatting. Is anyone else having this issue? Or does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I am going to be conducting an experiment using three different recruiting channels, and each channel has different incentive information. I’d like to show the correct consent form as the first page/block based on a parameter in the URL used to access the survey. But because you can’t set embedded data until after the first block has been displayed, that doesn’t seem possible.First question: Is there a way to set embedded data and grab the value from the URL before actually displaying the first block? I haven’t found it in the support pages, but maybe there’s a way to do it with javascript?In the absence of that, I wound up doing this:First block has one text/graphic question with a character in the same white as my themes’s background so it looks empty. Hello!I have an advanced choice randomization question.  Let’s say I’m building flashcards for memory training, which involves pairing a picture and a word.  Participants see the picture, and must choose the correct word out of a set of 5 options.  So in this setup, there is one correct answer, and four foils.Let’s say there is a total of 100 picture-word pairs.  The foils are drawn from this set of 100 words, so for each picture there is the one correct answer, and four incorrect answers drawn randomly from the remaining 99 words.Using Advanced Randomization I can randomly select the four foils (using Random Subset) and can force the correct answer to show (either by directly including it, or using Randomize Choices), but this leaves the correct answer in a static position (e.g., always the third option).  I would like the correct answer to appear in a random position, so that across repeated trials the participant can’t succeed just by learning the position of the word in the answer

We have a requirement, where we need to set contact frequency rules based on survey completion. For example, if a customer has been sent a survey today and he hasn’t attended, he shouldn’t receive the survey for next 30 days. On the other hand, if he has completed the survey, he shouldn’t receive the survey for next 365 days.Any idea how we can set this up?

I have a requirement from the client on the contact frequency.If a customer receives an INVITATION to the AB survey, they are not eligible for another INVITATION to this survey for 59 days. If a customer COMPLETES the AB survey, they are not eligible for another INVITATION to this survey for 365 days.Is there any way to set this rule based on survey completion?

Is there a way for me as a Brand Administrator to remove default user types (like the trial accounts) added by Q themselves? I believe that we will never use 80% of those user types and I want to keep our environment clean.The current issue is that all those account types are greyed out currently.Thanks in advance!

My organization has long used Eventbrite to promote free events and gather RSVP / Registration information. The best feature has been the integration / automation of sending a calendar invite or links in a confirmation email where people could “click to add this to your calendar,” which helped improve attendance by blocking the event on people’s calendars.  If we build a Qualtrics survey to gather RSVPs for a free event (e.g., firs name, last name, email address), can anyone point me to resources / instructions for doing two follow-up items:Send automated email to registrants that includes event details, log-on link (for virtual events), etc. Include a Google, Apple, Outlook calendar integration link in the automated email, encouraging people to “click here to add this event to your calendar”? (...or some other way to get our event on their calendar)

Hi Community,I'm trying to find is a contact exists in my XM directory based on an email provided by a respondant in an anonymous survey.The "Load XM Directory Contact Detail" task seems to be the one to implement but it requires a contactID witch is like "CID_09ceIzM6caOZPTw"No chance to get this ID in a survey without piping it in from Directory (and in this case, the task is useless !Does anyone have any experience with this task or any idea to resolve my issue ?Here is an example of the task configuration window :Thanks,Élie D

I am using Spotlight Insights to identify key demographic outliers. I struggle with some of the customer attributes that show and internal ‘reference number’ rather than the actual value. Has anyone dealt with this and getting the values to show up in Spotlight Insights?  

Looking for thoughts and experience from other in the Qualtrics community about the pros and cons of using the survey software as a means of document workflow (form submission).Our institution has a number of software options and some people want to use Qualtrics for collecting operational information / form intake.  We have other software that is specialized for online documents (ie Drupal) but their are not approved for sensitive information the same way Qualtrics is.What’s your experience?  What worked?  What didn’t?

Hi,  I need the participants of survey to add an essay text entry with the minimum of 100 words. Below is not acceptable. Can someone tell me how I do this?

Does anyone know if there is a way to upload a mailing list to SFTP? I’ve been looking through the workflow task options and it doesn’t appear you can extract a mailing list? Unfortunately my organisation requires all emails to be sent via Marketing Cloud, so we can’t use Qualtrics for survey invite emails. As a workaround, if we’re able to get email addresses and survey links uploaded to our SFTP server, we can then get marketing cloud to do the rest. I’ve managed to connect the SFTP server but of course the workflow requires an extract task first.Can anyone help to point me in the right direction or am I trying to do the impossible?? Thanks in advance!

I have a condition and I am asking questions based on the condition description. What I want is to show the condition description on the left hand side and it should be static. But the questions should be displayed on the right hand side. When users click continue, next set of questions appear on the right hand side. The condition description on the left hand side should remain the same.  This way users can answer all the question while they are able to read the condition. Thanks!

Hello everyone,I've had three assessments set up for a while now. After a test-taker passes the assessment, our workflow is supposed to send them a congratulatory email. Simultaneously, a blind carbon copy (BCC) email is sent to our team's mailbox to notify us of the successful test completion. This system has been working flawlessly for over a year. However, approximately two weeks ago, the notifications stopped arriving in our team mailbox. I conducted some tests and confirmed that the test-taker does receive the congratulatory email, but the BCC to our team mailbox is no longer functioning. Does anyone have any insights into why the BCC part of our email workflow has suddenly ceased to work? I'm quite puzzled by this situation. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

In my organization, many of our frontline employees use dashboards to review the effectiveness and performance of their customer interactions. Since Qualtrics doesn’t offer the ability to “hide” customer comments containing hate speech from dashboards, how does your organization handle this?I’ve submitted the idea to Qualtrics in the hopes they will add this functionality for Text IQ, but for now, I’m hoping someone has additional insights or experience they can share. I have a survey that we use for commencement ceremonies. When a student is eligible to walk with more than one major, they can choose which major they wish to walk in, which gets pulled into a drop-down multiple choice question as embedded data.When I generate the report, however, the result displays as the embedded data code, instead of the text of their selection. Is there any workaround for this?

Hello, I am setting up a survey using an anonymous link. The survey will be distributed through a Braze in-app message, where people will then be taken to Qualtrics. I want to collect the User ID from the app and send it to Qualtrics. We know how to decouple the contact data from the survey responses. But we need to find a solution to delete or anonymise embedded data at 2 points:at the CX database at the survey answers itselfBecause we store in the embedded data personal data like transaction numbers which can be used to figure out which person is behind that number. But the german law tells us, that we have to care about this after the purpose is gone (in our case 24 month).We know, that we can do this via API and some roundtrips. But therefore we need to develop a managed service.We are wondering if Qualtrics can provide us such a solution based on an UI in Qualtrics itself. We would beg that we are not the only german Company which has this requirement.

Hi! Can anyone tell me how I create a variable to indicate the order in which respondents received my four vignettes? For example, a variable named "order" with values like:1 indicating the order: V1, V2, V3, V42 indicating the order: V2, V3, V4, V13 indicating: V3, V4, V1, V24 indicating: V4, V1, V2, V3and so on… ??Additionally, I'd like a variable indicating how much time it took them to read through the four vignettes.  Thanks in advance for the help!

I want to assign the license to several administrators and that each one of them has enough autonomy to make projects within it without crossing those of the other companies.

I’m using the Qualtrics Report format to create an output for clients after they take a survey. I want to be able to create graphs that show the averages for individual items as well as averages for groups of items. For example, if items 1-5 are part of group A and items 6-10 are part of group B, I want graphs that show the averages for each item 1-10 as well as averages for group A and B.I’ve tried creating scoring with groups, but that gives me the sum of all the items in the report instead of an average. Such that, if a participant responded 5 - “strongly agree” on all items, the report would show a graph of 25 instead of 5.I’ve also tried piped text, but that doesn’t give me a quantitative item to use in the report.I have found that I can create an item, download the data, create the average in Excel, upload the data back into qualtrics as the new item, and then use that in the report. However, I’m hoping for a more streamlined way of doing this. If this is the only way to do this,
