Qualtrics Platform

We set up a customer satisfaction survey and also turned on saving incomplete responses in the survey settings. In the Distribution view we see that some have started the survey but not completed it. I can't find these results anywhere. In the Data & Analysis section, Recorded Responses only show me complete ones and in Responses in progress we don't find any responses either. How do we get the incomplete results? Ideally also retrospectively.Many thanks in advance!

Hi.   I am working to interpret the results from my survey.   My survey was a 2X2 experimental design which randomly showed participants one of two videos.   I then presented each participants one of two scenarios and then have them complete a survey.   How does Qualtrics indicate which of the two videos that people actually viewed and which scenario that they were presented with?    Thank you in advance..

HiOne of our customers unfortunately on a CX survey uploaded to Qualtrics embedded data with a number of fields with wrong values.  The customer asks us if it is possible to implement a process to change all the wrong embedded information uploading to Qualcom a CSV file with the answer ID / answer date / corrected field value. We opened a ticket on Qualcom support and the answer was that this is possible only for an EX survey but not for a CX survey.  Is this so?  This is not a feature for a CX survey?  How can a customer correct mistakes on one or more fields of embedded data, if the error was done for a big amount of answers in a CX survey? Many thanks!

I am conducting a research study on Qualtrics where after participants answer demographic questions, they will be randomly assigned to either the control group or the intervention group.The control group consists of answering six questions (blocks 1 -6) and the intervention group consists of answering six questions (blocks 7 - 12).  I made each question into a seperate block because I do not want participants to be able to go back to the previous question. Within the control group and intervention group, I also need the blocks to be randomized (i.e for one participant, the order of the blocks can be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 but for another participant to be taking the survey I want the order of the blocks presented to be 2,4,5,1,3,6). Is this possible?

Good morning, I would like to add a pop up message in Qualtrics with the number of a crisis center hotline if a participant answers either "more than half the days" or "nearly everyday" to a thoughts of suicide question. Can that be done? and How? I am new to Qualtrics but I have figured out scoring, branching, and skip logic, and embedded data in the survey flow area. I am grateful for any help you can give me. I'm actually in finance for a federal grant, but have been thrown into evaluation as well.Thank you,Linda

Hi, I am trying to find a way to automate import of third party sources of customer feedback into a CX Dashboard. I am going to be using Imported Data Projects but am looking to automate the process so I don’t have to manually export CSVs and re-import. For example, we use UserVoice as another VOC source that I want to get into a CX Dashboard. But, currently am stuck exporting from UserVoice and back into Qualtrics. If anyone has achieved something like this in the past and has any pointers it would be greatly appreciated!Thank you

Hi Team is it possible that as an authenticator to start a survey we have something that asks me to log in to Qualtrics?make it a requirementI wonder if it is possible as an authentication-step to add a necessary Qualtrics login, since I am sharing a survey with users of the platform and it would be a good way to control who access to the survey and prevent people who do not have access to the platform from responding. Thanks in advance.

Hello, everyone! I am working on connecting an SFTP to a Contact Import Automation, and we have experienced issues with it. One thing we have noticed in Qualtrics documentation is that there is a touch access permission in the SFTP that may need to be toggled on. I haven’t been able to find out how to turn this permission on for Azure, and every other SFTP I have connected to Qualtrics has not had errors. I understand that there may be a different issue with the connection; however, I wanted to check and see if anyone is aware of this permission and if it had been a reason why the connection wasn’t successful between the SFTP and Qualtrics. Hi all, I’m new to Qualtrics and I will be using Qualtrics to conduct a study on sexual harassment. Essentially, victims or potential victims of sexual harassment will share their experiences using an anonymous link. Just wondering if the brand administrator has the authority to see my survey and download my data without my permission? For example, we definitely don’t want anyone other than our research team members to see who experienced such things before... Thanks a lot in advance! 

It would be nice to have a statistics table as an available widget for the dashboards. Has anyone been able to create something similar for the CX dashboard?

I have a long survey with many 6-point Likert-scale questions (completely agree - completely disagree). Because of the number of questions, I want to show the results in the Dashboard, Results-Reports in table widgets. This is why I'm recoding the Likert-scale in a 10-point scale in the Survey itself.Completely disagree: 0 Disagree: 2,5 Neutral: 5 Agree: 7,5 Completely agree: 10Now I'm wondering if in the long term it wouldn't be better to use the Scoring system. And I'm also wondering if the recoding with decimals will cause problems with the analysis tools like Stats iQ. In the Dashboard it works fine, but it's difficult to predict which other issues I might encounter.What do you advise to do?

Hi,I have a question around GDPR. My client is asking where exactly the anonymous data in the survey is going to be stored. We have reassured them that Qualtrics is GDPR compliant, pointing them here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/getting-started/qualtrics-gdpr-compliance/.. and told them that the survey data we are receiving is anonymous.“can you please confirm where physically the data will be stored?  We need to ensure this fits our GDPR / data protection requirements.” Any help on ‘physically where’?Thanks,D 

Hi Qualtrics Community,I’m working in the ‘Data & Analysis’ tab where I’ve created a new variable using the ‘bucketing’ method:  I’m wondering if it could be possible to create a new variable with the results of this previous variable created. It mean, using the groups created as a result of the bucketing process to create a new variable. I’ve already tried it but I cannot select this ‘city_groups’ new variable to work with. Thanks for your feedback.  

Hi! I have a survey that I would like to send to my participants every week, for 8 consecutive weeks. I have a contact list with all the participants. However, they started on different days, so the survey will not be sent to all of them on the same day. Furthermore, I need to be able to see which participant answered what, which is possible if I use individual links, right?  I see that I can create an email distribution and send it to a selected person or persons from my contact list through the Distributions > Email tab, but how can I automate the process of sending it for 8 consecutive weeks? It seems like the Survey Director would be an option, but it seems like that only works with anonymous links? Thanks in advance!

Hey Guys!!Has anyone figured out how to give dynamic groups of users Read access to dashboards without having to touch the permissions of each person individually? We thought about trying to set up our default Security Role to allow everyone to have “read” access to all dashboards (the caveat being they have to be invited to specific surveys of course). The other strange thing we discovered is that creating a User Role to “group” people together via metadata fields only gave you access to the participants who were invited to the survey, not access to everyone in your Global Directory.Use Case:  A survey is going out to 12,000 people in a business unit and the requirement is anyone who is a Manager (has direct reports) or higher should have access to see the aggregated Dashboard results. These are people who are still participants but because of their role will be given Dashboard access. Out of the 12,000 we are talking like 2500 people. I would like to create a chart like the one below where the line is the CSAT score for that quarter, comparing the breakdown and the overall score.    Currently, the comparison line will only show the current CSAT score instead of changing with the associated survey date (quarter).   Has anyone else accomplished this a comparison where the line matches the x-axis date?   

Ok,I have a table widget on a dashboard that shows the number of responses in each row and their share of the total responses. Now I would like to know the proportion or number of those who did not leave another text field blank. However, the only filter available to me is a keyword search. But that is not what I have, I am searching or filtering for "not empty".Can anyone help me?

Hi all - I have a survey that is distributed in four languages. In the survey, I need to display a definition of an event type (there are four event types). I have embedded data that indicates the event type in the contact list. The best way I can think of to display the definition is to have branching logic that sets additional embedded data for the definition based on the combo of Q_Language+event type (e.g. Chinese + Fundraising branch will set a “Definition” embedded data field to have the definition we use of fundraising events in Chinese) , but then I have to create a lot of branches for the 16 combos of language and event type. Since library messages can be translated, I was thinking those would be easier to use, but I don’t believe there is any way to do that. Am I wrong, or any other suggestions to keep survey flow simpler?Thanks in advance!

Where is the data in Qualtrics housed ? 

I’m just starting out in utilizing the Text iQ feature and I appreciate the Topic Templates that we can import, is there a way I can create my own template of topics that is easily accessible with the other templates (rather than to upload a json file with each survey/dashboard) - with the ability to add/remove/update for future needs?

Hi We have a EX survey we are distributing by anonymous link using an authenticator and we will have tablets to take the survey. We are doing the test but when we try to open the link again or reload the page to retake the survey we get the message of you have already take this survey. Is there anyway to fix this?
