hello, setting my quotas. I have quotas that have been exceeded. What can explain it? 

I have to set up ticketing for 3 surveys and for each survey there is a separate email id that needs to receive email once the ticket is created. There will be 3 groups of people that will manage the tickets of the respective surveys and neither of the groups should see each other’s tickets. For this should ticket groups be used or ticket teams or both?

Hi,I would like to know how is it possible to automatically send a survey to contacts imported from Salesforce using a Report.I was able to set a workflow to import contacts using a Salesforce Report and adding them to a contact list in Qualtrics, but I don’t know how to distribute them a survey automatically.It seems a simple request.Thanks in advance.Best,Carlo

Hi I have had multiple responses to a survey.  I didn’t realise qualtrics had recoded the answers as 1-11 when I need it 0-10.  When I go into the survey and recode the values to 0-10, it still exports as 1-11.  Is there a way to recode the values to 0-10 so when I download existing and upcoming reponses I will get 0-10 recorded?. However, when I went back to Q1 and changed it to only rate 1 statement as strongly agree, the 3 statements originally selected have remained.Any help here would be appreciated! Thank you. :) 

Hi all.I exported Qualtrics data for both numeric and choice and just realized they have misfigured data. For example, if the choice data set showedStrongly agree: 11 Agree: 25Neither agree or disagree: 23Disagree: 26Strongly disagree: 17Then, the numeric data set showed1: 112: 03: 254: 235: 266: 17so that it automatically codes “Agree” to “3” and then creates “6” as “Strongly disagree” when it’s supposed to be “5”. It did not happen to every question, but some of them. For one question even creates “7”, although the choice answer was “Strongly disagree”.  Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

I have utilized HTML to embed a 57-minute video into my Qualtrics survey. However, I would like my respondents to view only 85 seconds of the video. Since the video link is from YouTube and I don't have the option to download or edit it directly, I am wondering if there is a way to restrict the playback duration to just 85 seconds through the URL.

I’m trying to find documentation on what Qualtrics loads when in a public-facing survey. The survey I’m getting ready to launch goes like this:10-12 seconds load the first page from whatever referring link. This page only contains html and one MC (it’s a consent form). 10-17 seconds to load the 2nd page. Hi everyone, I have a client survey that measure 3 different touchpoints with 3 different CSAT question corresponding to them. So a survey response will containt all 3, and a filter will either include or exclude all 3 of them.However, in the dashboard I want to breakdown by touchpoint and since the client already running the survey. I think the option is to break each response into 3 and store it at Imported data project or a survey response.How should I do this? Thanks in advance

Hello,I work on our post-call survey for our company’s contact center.  We’ve thrown around the idea of including the customer’s name in the opening of the survey to make it more personable.  I’m curious whether any of you have implemented this with your customer surveys? If so, do you have a comparison of data when including the customer’s name and not? What were the differences? Were there any negatives from this?Thank you,

I have a select all that apply question w/ 20 options and an “Other (please specify)” option. The next 3 questions are then looped based on what was selected on the previous question. My issue is that someone doing the survey could type multiple things in the (please specify) box, then the questions are no longer appropriate.I figure that this could be easily solved if I could make it so the questions do not loop for the “Other” option, and I instead add display logic to a separate question that only shows when they choose that option.Please let me know if there is a way to do this, with or without code.Thank you in advance.

Hi All, I have to remove few of the questions from the survey and was able to do so except for couple of questions.While removing two of the questions, I am getting message “This question is being used as part of logic. Are you sure you want to remove it?”. I cross checked and these two questions are not being used in any other part of the survey. Not sure why I am getting this issue. Do we get this kind of message sometimes even if there is no dependency of the question at any other part of survey? Is there any other place i have to check except survey builder and survey flow to find out dependency of these questions? Thanks,Salim

Is there any way to directly paste clipboard item in a Qualtrics survey question or one has to always upload images to Qualtrics library first and then pull it into the rich content editor?I tried pasting image from clipboard and got the following error message (Ironically the same is allowed here as I took the screenshot of error and pasted it here).In case anyone knows how to bypass this library hassle, please let me know.Thanks in advance.

I have a question where the respondent selects multiple brands for awareness. I then need to create two groups - One for Company A and then the rest for all other Companies. From there on the next question I need to display up to 3 Brands selected in the prior question - giving preference to Company A. So if Company A had 3 brands selected it shows those 3 and that is it. If Company A had 2 brands selected it shows those 2 and then pulls 1 addition from all other Companies for a total of 3. Random Subset does not allow for two groups so unsure the best route to go. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,I’m new to qualtrics and I’m struggling with a problem regarding embedded data piped from one question to another. What I really don’t understand is why some piped data appears and others do not when they are all set before the questions they are displayed.Here’s my survey flow:    

User_A created and owns an Imported Data project. I’m a Brand Admin and want to transfer ownership of this project to User_B, but when I go to Admin>>Users>>User_A>>Transfer Surveys and select User_B (also a Brand Admin) as the recipient from the address book, the list of projects to transfer is blank. 

Hello everyone,  I’m currently building a survey and I have a problem with my question here :As you can see, there is a gap between dropbox question and I think is because I’m using the “flat” mode in layout in Look and feel options. I’ve got an embedded data field which was imported in a mailing list.  I’ve added an element to the survey flow for this field.  I see the field in the view of the list with all rows having values as they should.  However, in the Data tab and the StatsIQ tab only 9 rows show values, the rest are blank.  There are about 300 respondents so why aren’t they all displaying the field values?  I did rename the Field in the directory but all locations are displaying the correct name for the field.  Tried reloading/refreshing the dataset but no change.  Oh and the element field is set to Number type.  Here’s the element: 

I have a list of people who are allowed to respond to a survey. The respondents each have a unique ID and will receive an anonymous link to the survey. I would like to check their unique ID against my list and prevent them from completing the survey if it does not match. I have tried authentication against a contact list, but they need to be able to respond multiple times. I have also tried validation, but I can’t get the custom validation to compare their entered ID against an embedded list. What would be the best way to accomplish this?

 How do I make a specific column exclusive in a grid question?For instance, this is a multiple-select question, you can select only one option from the "Use the most/my preferred" column. Multiple selections are not allowed for this particular column.  

I have 8 blocks of questions. I use randomizer to select one of those 8 to present to the respondent. Following that block I want to ask if the respondent is willing to complete another block of questions. If they say no, them the survey ends. If they say yes, I want to present another one of the 8 blocks insuring that they are not presented with the same block fro the first randomizer.

Is there a way to randomize a question display within a block rather than having it in it’s own block? We also want to make it a required field for those who are presented the question.
