Benchmarking and question library?

We create surveys (deployed to workforces at multiple companies) from a library of custom questions. Question text changes from survey to survey, e.g. company name. We need to set and periodically update a master benchmark for each question that gets incorporated into the dashboard. What is the best work flow for doing this? Ideal outcome is:I build a library of all our questions in Qualtrics. I define global benchmark scores for all those questions. I create a new survey by picking questions from the library, or copying an existing survey. Then make small wording changes as necessary. Qualtrics keeps track of unique internal question IDs despite those wording changes. Dashboard can show the global benchmarks on a question-by-question basis. I can do year-to-year comparisons for the same company with a similar method.Appreciate any advice on what’s possible and how to go about this.Thanks much!

How to minimize width of "None of these" answer choice in Dynamic Images test

I am planning to conduct a Qualtrics Dynamic Images test which will also have a “none of these choices” answer optoin.  Currently Qualtrics renders a table with 3 equally sized columns. which means my images are smaller than they need to be and the “none of these choices” column is wider than it needs to be.  I would like to minimize the width of the 3rd column (with the “none of these choices” option) so that text wraps and displays the words one above the other.  The intent of that is to allow the 2 images for the 2 conjoint configurations being tested to be rendered as large as possible to allow the respondent to see as much detail in the images as posisble.  Is there a way I can do this via custom CSS for the overall survey or via javascript?   I don’t see a way to edit the HTML of the individual Conjoint quesiton type as it’s a self-contained module?Thanks!Eric Brown

Setting Growth Goals on a Five Point Scale

Greetings All, We are currently creating our next coherence plan that will go into effect for the 24.25 school year. Many of our metrics will be based on a five point rating scale. We will be gathering our benchmark data this spring. Our question is, what guidance do you follow for setting growth goals based off of five point scales? For instance, if a score comes in at 2.85 our of 5, what is the minimum increase that is expected by the next data checkpoint?     I am assuming the scale will fluctuate and a score of 1.5/5 would expect to see a greater increase over a six month time period than the 2.85, a 3.75 or a 4.5. We are interested in learning more about research (if any) is out there and/or what cut offs different organizations use to set expectations. Thanks for any input that can be shared. Mark GrunskeFranklin Public Schools,Franklin, WI

email workflow in preview link

Hi, I have a question about the email workflow feature when accessing a survey through the preview link. Do email workflows (i.e., automatically email a submission to a respondent if the survey is completed) work within the preview link of surveys, in a published survey? Or do these work only in the live survey link?  Thanks!

Matrix Table mixes up scale items numbering

Hello,I have an issue with my Matrix Table. The preview function (from Prolific) shows me that the items are actually mixed up: the scale is supposed to be numbered from 1 to 11 left to right. Does anyone know what could cause this issue, or how I could solve it? Thank you very much

Conditional statement in text email distribution survey

Hi everyone, I would like to send a survey via email but differentiating the email text depending on whether the respondent was in the treatment or in the control group. piped multi select answers, remove comma separators, add line breaks

I’ve searched the forums, but I haven’t quite found what I need, and I’m not experienced enough with Javascript to figure it out myself. What I want to do is take the response from a multi-select multiple choice question, and pipe the answer into an email that lives in the workflow. When I simply pipe it in as is, the items are all listed in a long string separated with commas. Sharing the Response Report

Hi everyone!I'm trying to find a way to share the Response Report though a workflow rather than the Response Summary.In the End of Survey blok in the Survey Flow, one can generate a Response Report and display it to the respondent.Is there a way to push the URL of the Response Report into an Embedded Data field which I could then use in a workflow?

Slider Question Custom Start Position

Setting for "Next Page" button

Hi community,My survey consists of one multiple choice question. Each choice represent one quota, and the choice would disappear if someone else has already selected that choice, so in the end it might be no choice left if all the choices are selected.Now I am trying to let the “next page” button be disabled if none of the options could be selected. How can I do with that?  Thanks! :) Here attached an image for your reference. It is clear that no choices can be selected now, but respondent is still able to select next page and finish the survey.

Creating Training Forms, Survey, and Questionnaire.

Hello Support,My project is creating two different training forms, a survey and a questionnaire for three different groups. First, participants will assign to three different groups randomly. Second, the first two groups will work with two different training forms and the last groups without training form. Last, after the training completed three groups will complete the assessment survey and the same questionnaire, My question is if participants can complete all tasks mentioned above  in Qualtrics including assigning participants to three groups randomly, creating the training forms to train the participants then taking the survey or the participants can take the survey and questionnaire only in Qualtrics. Adding JavaScript code on character limit prevents copy/paste function

Bounce emails

When emails bounce (and they show as bounced on the reports), does Qualtrics suppress them so no other emails are sent to such bounced emails? In other words, is Qualtrics preventing to send multiple emails to already bounced emails?Asking because of the new Gmail and Yahoo updates on bounce emails in place since Feb 1st. Thank you

Qualtrics and prolific - follow-up-study only for screened in participants

Dear all,My qualtric study has to parts (screening and main). I am using qualtrics and prolific.Im first study, I am asking participants to answer some questions based on which I will screen them. I want to redirect screened-in participants to another qualtrics study.I have two questions:1- Can I screen-in and screen-out participants based on what answers they provide to me? ( I want participants who select “I am concerned about weight” and choose “5/6/7 on likert scale” to be screened in and others to be screened-out.) 2- After brining screened-in participants to a custom screen or end of survey message, I am planning to show them link to a different study. Is that possible through Qualtrics-Prolific integration? I would highly appreciate someone telling me if and how this is possible!Many thanks!

Multiple images from library survey

Hello everyone!This is my first time using Qualtrics and I am trying to create a survey that “pulls” images from a folder in my library (97) and presents them in a random order - no repeat while each image is followed by the same 2 questions. I could do it manually and randomize but I find it tedious to do it for 2 surveys of 97 images. I could write a script in javascript to randomize and print the pictures, but I don’t know how to use embedded data to access the images. In conclusion, I would like to know if there is a way for me to program qualtrics to pull from a folder without me inserting graphic manually. Thank you in advance!

Randomizing the content in a question

Dear Comunity, I’m sure this question was answered before but because I’m so new I don’t know what is the correct way to search for what I need. I want to randomize the content of my question so that I’ll have lots of different variables. I cannot write all of them as embeded data one by one as there are too many potential arms. Imagine a vignette with 100 possible names,  2 genders, 50 cities etc.  Is there any way to load that data to Qualtrics and then use this as randomized variables? Thank you for your help.

Unexpected error message ONLY when opening on iPAD

I have a survey that I have been running sincerest fall but starting last week I am getting a message “Sorry, an unexpected error occurred” ONLY when we are opening it on our lab’s iPAD - iOS 12.5.7. We tried opening the survey in both Safari and Chrome but same message occurs. When we give our in-lab participants a link they can open it and run on their phones just fine. It seems this is the iPad issue. Trigger workflow on project/survey creation

In the Survey Definition event, I see that we can trigger a workflow based on when a survey is Activated, Closed or Published, but how do I trigger when a new Project is created?
