December has brought a slew of new moments in my life as I’ve aged. Celebrating the night I met my future wife, first night in my first purchased home, adopted our first pet, news of our first child! Even more so, all of those things happened on a Dec. 31st.

@tstamper, those are all great memories to finish each year on a joyful note!

Diwali for sure is my best holiday. I love home-made Gulab-Jamun, that’s why it counts as my best holiday food.

Greetings of the festive season to friends across the world!

This is an amazing photo!

A new tradition which started today for me….is using ChatGPT to make work related Christmas Carols… with the following relevant for many in this community.

🎄🎶 “Looping Around the NPS Tree” (To the tune of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”)🎶🎄

Verse 1:

Looping around the NPS tree,

At the contact center flow,

Inner and outer loops we sing,

Hear the customer insights grow!

Verse 2:

Looping around the NPS tree,

Let the champions lead the way,

Act and resolve, we’ll celebrate,

Driving change every day!

Bridge:

You will get a warm and fuzzy feeling

When the scores align just right!

Voices of the customer revealing,

Where we need to listen, learn, and act tonight!

Verse 3:

Looping around the NPS tree,

Feedback’s shining clear and bright,

Promoters cheer, detractors steer,

Guiding us to new delight!

Outro:

Loop, loop, loop around,

The NPS tree we’ll sway,

With every call, we’ll stand tall,

Delivering joy this holiday!

Our family always go to town Christmas parade which happens to be this weekend. We also like to ride around and see peoples Christmas lights. I also do a day of making cookies with my daughter which is the only time I make certain recipes. 🍪😋

Happy Holidays to all!

In Colombia, there is a celebration on December 7th called día de las velitas (Day of the Little Candles). It is a celebration where people light candles, and each candle usually represents a wish or a person for whom the candle is lit. People gather with their families to light the candles and send good energy for what each candle represents. It is a very beautiful celebration.

I make it a point to save up as many of my leaves as possible throughout the year so that I can take an extended break in December. This month holds a special place for me as it’s dedicated to traveling and discovering new destinations. December is my time to unwind, explore and immerse myself in different experiences that I might not get the chance to enjoy during the rest of the year. For me, December isn’t just a month, it’s a journey of exploration and inspiration.

First of all, thank you for reminding me about the festivals to share with all of you.

Dussehra and Diwali are two of the major festivals celebrated in India, typically occurring in November. These festivals allow us to uphold our traditions, no matter where we are, especially with family. They foster strong emotional bonds and encourage us to engage in our rituals. Additionally, these celebrations involve festive cooking, shopping, and enjoying fireworks.

Personally, I usually take a leave to go on a vacation in end of November or early December, often on a solo trip. This experience allows me to meet new people, learn about their lifestyles, and gain new insights, which motivates me to grow further.

Thank you!

I love walking the neighborhood with hot chocolate to look at all the decorations. We started it back when I could pull my 2 older girls in a wagon together, and now all 3 of my girls have long since outgrown the wagon and all walk with me. It’s more about the together time, and soaking up every moment I can with them.

🌟 I love spending the pre-Christmas period at the Christmas market. Drinking mulled wine with friends, looking at different stalls and a langos (some fright dough which is originally Hungarian) is a must! 🍷 There is a “medieval Christmas market” in our village, which is very special and invites you to linger. But slowly we also have to get our Christmas tree - preferably cut down in the forest ourselves. All officially, of course. There are a few places here where you can choose and cut down your own tree. 🎄 And also looking forward to baked apple with vanilla sauce. Just so much good food to come… 😍

Hello Everyone,

In order to escape the craziness of Christmas, New Years, the holidays in general and also to get a break from the cold climate we live in our family has been heading down to either Mexico or Dominican Republic for a beach vacation. The resorts always have something special organized over the holidays and the Iberostar resort we are heading to (picture attached) is one of our favourites.

Christmas is about family time and setting up a massive slip and slide in the backyard for Christmas Day fun!

December sparkles with joy, wrapping the world in festive cheer,
From glittering Christmas trees to New Year's eve drawing near.
Warm cocoa, cozy nights, and hearts full of delight,
It's a magical month where every moment feels bright!

I always love baking sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies each holiday. I enlist whichever family member is around to help decorate and it’s always a blast!! 🍪

This year I’m hosting my first Christmas Dinner with my friends so hopefully all goes well and it can also become a holiday tradition!🎄🍴

Obviously, you’re not in someplace snowbound :)

There isn’t a specific tradition that I could pinpoint as my favorite. I love spending time with my family around the holidays every year. It is one of the few times we can all get together with our busy schedules.

Every December, I read a number of books in my personal rituals.
I'm much more focused than usual, so I think I've been reading books in December. Sometimes I read books again.

It's an opportunity to organize the year, and it's also a good time to come up with ideas at the beginning of the next year.

Late at night, sitting at a table with a view of the Christmas tree, quietly reading with a glass of wine, made me feel mentally healthier and more grown. Highly recommended.

I believe the only thing I don’t like during this holidays is that is really hard to get out of the bed because of the cold. But I really enjoy the food, the the atmosphere, the aura of the parties, even if there are no big parties there is always something in the air that feels magical. In Mexico there are different foods/drinks that are only made during this season and I always look forward to them, for example apple salad, marinated leg, ponche (it is a fruit based drink, apple, guava, tejocote(Mexican hawthorn), cinnamon, plums, sugar) 🎄🎁

going on holidays with friends & family has been my recent tradition for the December.

Lots of shopping to get all those discounts.

The pickle ornament tradition is by far my favorite. Every year, someone hides a pickle ornament somewhere on the tree, and the first person to find it on Christmas morning receives a special present. Unfortunately, last year no one could find the pickle (which I expertly hid). It was only discovered this year as we were taking the tree out of its box to put up. Fingers crossed someone finds it this year!

My mom introduced me to White Christmas & Holiday Inn when I was a kid and I have watched those two movies every year. It’s not Christmas without Bing. :)

One of the traditions I enjoy the most during Christmas is participating in the novenas, which take place from December 16th to December 24th. Although they have a religious significance, they are also a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends. During these gatherings, we usually enjoy delicious dishes typical of my city, which adds a special touch to each evening. For me, it’s a wonderful time filled with unity, faith, and joy.🎅🏻

We love opening presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas day! I love Christmas - the food, decor, it all!
