Tabulation Output with "table of contents / index" of all questions

How we can create and export tabulation WITH table of contents/index.

May I restrict collaboration so another user can access Stats IQ and reports, but not the data file?

I'd like another user to be able to create reports and run cross tabs in Stats IQ, but not have access to the data file. Is that possible?

Analysis tab (statistical functions)

Hi all,After following the XM Basecamp, I went into the tool to try out the statistical analysis options. However, when I go to "Data & Analysis", I do not see the "Analysis" section. I only see these four: Data, Text, Cross tabs and Weighting.I assume that this has to do with my kind of license?Thanks a lot!Kind regards,Eva

after survey complete, finding out recipient email addresses

For people who forgot to type in name, I would like to find out their email address (to give my students credit for taking the survey). Right now the only thing I see in this column is ****** for the embedded data. Can I see these addresses? Thanks for any insight - I've been watching videos and reading help articles for days without any luck.

Import longitudinal data

Hi all. I have had longitudinal surveys completed with survey responses having been entered in Excel. I want to upload the data so that I can use Qualtrics to analyse it. Can anyone advise me on the correct formatting to use in the spreadsheet so that Qualtrics will work out that there are multiple responses to the same survey by the same person? I'm wanting to examine individual changes and also group changes in responses. For example (this is an example only and not my actual scenario/data): I have 3 respondents. Each respondent completes 3 surveys on 3 different occasions. Each respondent has a unique identifier that is used across all 3 of their survey completions.The questions I have are:Should I put my data headings across columns or down a row for: Unique_ID, Survey round, Survey date, Survey 1 score, Survey 2 score, Survey 3 score?Should I have every respondent's data for each individual round grouped together in consecutive rows/columns, or should I have one respondent's

Filtering using answers to multiple-choice questions

I have a survey with several mutiple choice questions in which multiple answer selection is allowed (i.e. "Select all of the following that apply to you...").Although I can see a spread of answer counts for each, I can't seem to do any further analysis in StatsiQ. There are two things I'd like to be able to do:Filter or relate by answer - e.g. filter out the subset of participants who chose option B (regardless of what other options they chose in the question) and/or find whether there's any relationship between choosing option B and other variables in the studyFind relationships between multiple choice answers in the same question (e.g. how many participants who chose B also chose C)?There seems to be very little way to do this in StatsiQ - my first thought was to create a new variable based on answer type but it won't let me!Any advice? Or would I have to redo the survey in a different way?

Exporting multiple choice question with multiple answers to SPSS

Hi, I'm working on the analysis of my data and I'm having a problem with the multiple choice questions that can get multiple answers.This particular question consists of 22 different types of activities, which belong to 4 different categories (direct, indirect, consumptive and indoor). Now, I would like to see for each respondent, how many activities they have selected for each category --> e.g. 5 direct, 3 indirect, 2 consumptive, 0 indoor.When exporting my data to SPSS, each choice exports as its own column header, rather than having it in one column. Is there a way to change this?I have already tried to recode my values for this question by assigning a number to each activity based on their category to make the analysis easier, but this way it doesn't register the amount of times category 1, 2, 3 or 4 is chosen. Does anyone have a solution to this?

HELP!! Randomization of Scenarios, Survet Flow and SPSS

Hi All,I have a survey with two scenarios which are randomly and equally assigned to the participants. In the SPSS, it doesn’t mention which scenario they were assigned to. Therefore, how do I suppose to know which scenario they are answering to? What can I do? Was it my survey flow incorrect? Help 😭

What test should I used? - Two categorical IVs and one categorical DV with three levels

Dear members, I have two nominal IVs (both have two levels, O/X) and one ordinal DV with three levels. I am also interested in the interaction of the two IVs. So my question is 1) whether it is correct to run a multi nominal logistic. 2) Also, if I create an interaction variable (IV1 X IV2), how I can interpret the results? (currently I have four conditions, but if I create this interaction variable, only one condition will be 1 and the other three will be 0, right?)Thanks a lot in advance. Calculating an Overall Mean for different groups

So I have a few questions. I have a survey that is given to different groups of people. There is a set of 10 likert scale questions, and each group will be getting slightly different sets of those 10 questions (i.e. one group gets 9, one group gets 4, etc.). So I have a lot of logic in there to show different questions to people based on what group they select they are in.I figured out how to calculate the average by creating a field variable ((x+y+z)/4). However, the problem I'm having with that is that when people skip one of the questions, I think that it puts that in there as a 0 which messes up the average. Is there a better way to obtain that average?So essentially, what I'm looking to do is to be able to create several different reports (one for each unique group with their particular questions). i.e.:Group 1 (questions 1-9) overall averageGroup 2 (questions 1-4) overall averageGroup 3 (questions 1-4+10) overall averageWhat is the best way to accomplish this? Thank you!

How to best produce a polished report for a user, with a 175 question survey

Trying to produce a professional report that the user can consume easily.My overall question is how to analyze survey data efficientlyproducing a professional reportUsing a specific example here:My goals for this 175 question survey, to producedescriptives for each of 175 questionscrosstabs for the same survey (broken out by gender)a polished report that the from which the user can create their own Exec Summary and Key Findingsand to do so efficientlyPreviously, this was done in SPSS Statistics, but that's way overkill (and ugly), and there is no reason to use this powerhouse software - we're not doing any statistical analysis!I have found Reporting / Stats iQ to be less than impressive for producing a polished report. For example, I could "press the button" and do a DESCRIBE on 175 questions, but it exports to Excel in 175 tabs, and UGLY. I wouldn't give that to a user. Then I need to do crosstabs (by gender), so this would be ANOTHER 175 tabs if exported to Excel, so again not accept

Determining if your CX survey drill-downs are statistially relevant

I have definitely been looking at online calculators for ideal sample size and confidence intervals like this one (these mostly seem geared towards marketing surveys and picking ideal sample sizes, no?), but I am still unsure how to get the answer I need. I will be presenting customer NPS results to executives, and at times breaking out by region, segment, etc. I am looking for a fairly straightforward way to gut check when a drill-down goes too far, and is therefore only directionally relevant. For example, if one segment that represents 30% of global NPS respondents is then broken down further--where the smaller segment there represents 20% of that segment's respondents at about 50 responses, how would you go about determining how conservative to be in presenting these ratings? Is there a different online calculator I'm looking for, or even just a rule of thumb people use? The survey currently has about an 8% response rate.Thanks so much!

A/B testing analysis thesis

Hi all,For my thesis I'm using an A/B testing method. Looking a stereotype vs. non-stereotype advertising and which of the two creates the most reactance among respondents.I've almost got 100 respondents so I wantend to start my analysis. I used a a/b type of testing with the randomisation tool. Where Qualitics shows 1 out of 2 of the photos (stereotype ad vs. a non stereotype ad) to the respondent. This all works and my questionnaire looks and works great. Now my problem: when I look at the data in iQ stats, I can't differenciate between photo A or photo B.. All the data is just bundelt together and I can't separate it between the two randomized photo'sHow can I fix this? Thank you so much for your help.Kind regards,Blaire

Does Sentiment Analysis learn when changing sentiment values?

Hi everyone, I'm using TextiQ in my survey and I am wondering if there's any "machine learning" behind the scenes that improves it as we edit sentiment values. I tried giving the same text response different times, and after loading it in TextiQ, I changed its score from 3 to 5. But everytime I do this, TextiQ still assigns a score of 3 to that response, even though the score of the previous ones has been changed to 5 and they have the same identical text. Is this a normal thing or am I missing something?

Unable to refresh report when new response comes in

! Recorded responses showed on report is only 5 but total submitted responses were 10. What can I do?

Is StatsIQ available for lifecycle (onboarding/exit) surveys?

We have StatsIQ enabled but it doesn't appear on my Lifecycle surveys (but does show up on engagement). Is StatsIQ available for Lifecycle surveys?

Basic Stats iQ questions: 1) can I reorder the cards, 2) can I eliminate the graph from Describe?

just getting started with Stats iQ, after doing my Basecamp Training ... :) and excited to get 'er done ... o:) I have loaded up a dataset from a previous Survey, and trying to replicate my findings from that in Qualtrics. I did Describe on a couple of variables, basically looks fine. But each Describe goes to the top of the Workspace ... can I re-order the cards? I couldn't see how. I thought also I could position my cursor to below the last card, but the new Describe always goes to the top ... So the graph and data looks fine, but sometimes the graph is a little overkill, is there anyway to eliminate that? !

Learning resources for Stats iQ, looking for recommendations

Hi, I'm one week into digging into Stats iQ, so far so good. I found some nice resourses from Qualtrics, but wanted to see if a live person has some additional suggestions. Hopefully we'll have Text iQ shortly, so I'll post on that separately. For the most part I'm good on understanding statistical analysis, having wrestled with SPSS for a year, and being a Business Intelligence person by trade. How best to present / distribute results to users?

Our current practice is to present results in either a Word or Excel document (usually with several tabs). Results come from either SPSS or Business Objects Web Intelligence (your basic reporting tool, for charts, Pivot tables, etc.). I'm really liking what I see in Stats iQ, but I'm not seeing how to "package things up" ... What is the best practice for Qualtrics? I am going through all the Stats iQ training modules/videos, and one of my main questions is how is this "packaged up" to present to the user? Or can we skip the Word/Excel model altogether and provide results to the user online via a dashboard or something like that? We have user users and then we'll eventually have actual researchers who know what they are doing and want to use the tool as they see fit. I'm thinking about regular users, and the goal is to make a nice presentation, either in Excel or online.

How to use the anchored max diff question

Hi, We are getting ready to test a max diff with Qualtrics. I know there is the option to have a follow up question after each choice task that says something to the effect of "would you say all of these items are very important to not at all important." That way we can have a bit more perspective on whether something that is chosen as important might actually be important or just the most important of really unimportant items. But I am not clear on how to incorporate that anchored question into the analysis to perhaps adjust the final max diff results or at least tell me something useful. Thank you
