Hi all! We previously used MachForm to manage our forms but we are looking into utilizing Qualtrics since Qualtrics will better fit our needs.  Some background to help explain: I have a team of 6 people - 3 of which are student workers. We currently have our entire Web Ops team as administrators within MachForm, so any forms created by anybody on our team, we can immediately access and maintain.  Currently with Qualtrics, any forms that I make, I have to share via collaboration to my teammates in order to allow them also be able to maintain those forms. We have close to 300 forms that we maintain and having to share them manually between all our team members (and having to re-share every time we have a student worker graduate) is just not efficient for us. Does anyone use a setup where you have a group with multiple team members within it and you can instantly have access to whatever forms the other people in your group create without having

Hi all,I have a survey that I’m using to collect requests for service in our group. I’d like create a Report showing how many requests we get each week. I set up the report (screenshot attached), but I noticed that weeks without any submissions are omitted.I verified that there’s no minimum number of records required to display.How can I get the x-axis to show every week? It’s important for us to track “slow” weeks with no requests for service.Thanks! 

Hi,I want to have a back button in the block after a survey flow element (e.g. in screenshot below, i want to have a back button in the block "Claims history")The back button option is on but it won't appear between blocks with survey flow elements. Good morning! I have an issue in the new Results page. In single multiple choice questions (so not a matrix but a single question), I am unable to properly see the results by metric. See the below image for reference. What I would like here is to not have the minimum, maximum, average and count by answer category (Ja en Nee in this case), but only as a total. I figure my problem is related to the error messages in the metrics on the left side of the page, but I cannot change the metric field to the question I want it to relate to (that question does not appear as an option). I also cannot figure out how to remove Ja/Nee as rows, I can only remove the rows as a whole (which leads to having no answers at all). We are trying to avoid saving SONA ID in our datafiles as this is identifiable information. To set up SONA autocrediting, we are following the steps here:https://www.sona-systems.com/help/qualtrics/ Basically it involves sending the ID with the URL to Qualtrics, saving the ID as embedded variable and then piping that back to SONA with the completion code (the participant then automatically receives credit in the SONA system). However, is there a way to pass the ID to Qualtrics and have it piped back without saving it in the Qualtrics data file?  Thank you

Hi this is my first post here so hopefully i don’t break any rules. I have a client which owns a clinic that would like to get some data assessment from their patients before conducting a minor surgery. After that they want a post survey to see if the patient symptom is getting better. The survey is purely used by the doctor to fill in. So the questions that are answered “no” in the first survey are not brought to the second survey. I saw some posts that recommend me using workflow but i was not able to get it to work and i keep getting an error saying that either I am using too many logins or something went wrong if I’m not mistaken. Is there any suggestions on how to do this. I currently have a multi-field loop and merge in a survey block. Field 1 is a scenario, and Field 2 and 3 are questions that are specific to that scenario. Participants are presented with scenarios in random order and then asked questions about it. I want to add another layer/branch of randomization so that the question in Field 2 is only shown to half the participants, and question in Field 3 is shown to the other half.The group function in Survey Flow doesn’t work, as the questions in Field 2 and 3 are tied to the specific scenario, and I want participants to have a 50-50 mix of questions from Field 2 and 3 instead of only getting one type of question. Is there a way to randomize this without basing it on an explicit input from the participant?

Hello!  I have a constant sum question with 18 variables. I need to pull the highest 3 variables. Qualtrics makes IDing the highest easy, but I have no idea how to ID #2 and #3.

Hello,I am trying to create a survey with several layers of randomization. I need to present a select number of 5 different scenario types.Here is the breakdown of what I am trying to do.Each scenario is a block of three questions, a timer, a scenario/multiple choice, and a slider question. I have 5 different types of scenarios, we can call A, B, C, D, and E. I have 15 of each type of ABCDE, for a total of 75 scenarios. I want to randomly present 10 A, B, C, D, & Es in a random order, for a total of 50 scenarios. Right now I can only get it to randomly present 10 from each type of scenario, but it maintains the A, B, C, D, & E order. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Is there any way to calculate or lookup a value and use that calculated value in the Email Invite? Scenario:We are receiving Brand ID from the Contact List.If BrandID = 1then BrandName = ABC, BrandLog = https://abc.com, CustomerCareNumber = 12345If BrandID = 2then BrandName = EFG, BrandLog = https://efg.com, CustomerCareNumber = 23456If BrandID = 3then BrandName = XYZ, BrandLog = https://xyz.com, CustomerCareNumber = 98765 Based on Brand ID in the Contact List, I’m able to use Branch and Set Embedded data in the Survey Flow to calculate Brand specific values. I’m able to use these calculated values in the Survey but not in the Email Invite. I tried Supplemental Data Source too, but I see no option to use SBS data in Email Invite.Adding all brand Specific details in the Contact List seems like a lot of duplicate data!

Hello everyone, I would like to know what is the reason for having Recorded data - 26 of AprilStart date - 19 AprilEnd date - 19 April. If the customer finished the survye on the 19th April, why Qualtrics recorded the answer days after?Thank you :)

Greetings XM Community!I’m using the survey platform to create a form.  I need to be able to fill it out and then send it to two individuals for approval signatures.  I’ll need to repeat this process for various programs.  From the research I’ve done I can send the survey to myself to fill out but need to know how I can forward the completed form so my signers can see the data I entered and sign off.  It appears a workflow can accomplish this?  Or does it have to be JAVA?  I really want to use the platform and not have to default to a Word document or Google forms.I am attaching a copy of the form (had issues getting the QSF)If there’s an article where the answer already exists please post it - I found a few but nothing quite like what I needed.As always, you all are the best!!!

Hello fellow-users! My survey is translated into 3 languages. The respondents have an opportunity to switch between languages anytime during the filling in of the survey.But is there a way for me to see in which language they were reading the most? Because, if I understand it correctly, in the data file I can only see the language they were using when pressing the submit button. Is there a way to track if they were switching at all or which language they preferred while responding? My thesis advisor is concerned that the data is less reliable because I don’t know in which language the filled it in and if they even understood all the questions correctly (my thesis is about language learning, so this issue is quite important). Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ve created a personality survey that has 25 questions, and each answer option (5 options) corresponds to a specific personality type (5 in total). The scoring model is working fine (have 5 different categories, each coded as binary) and categorizing a respondent correctly as I test it. I am looking to create a tiebreaker logic on the off chance a respondent has the same number of answers to 2 or more personality types. Is this currently possible? It will classify them as the first one that comes in the physical order I have coded the embedded data fields at the moment.

I am trying to create a matrix table that pulls a number of statements from different categories. Imagine I’m asking: “Have you watched the following sports teams?” The choices are “Definitely”, “Maybe”, “No”, and “Not Sure.”But I want to set up banks based on sport. I want to have a bunch of soccer teams, a bunch of hockey teams,  a bunch of baseball teams, etc., but I only want to display 2 of each sport.So I need a way to establish 5 banks of statements (team names) and pull 2 per bank (sport). I can’t quite figure out how to do this using randomization and I want to keep everything in one matrix so I don’t get people thinking too hard about individual sports.Thanks in advance!

Hi there,I am very new to Qualtrics and am trying to figure out the best way to randomize my study for my university honors thesis. The set up of my study is to show an image for 10 seconds, then a 7-point likert rating scale with the image on top of the scale, and then a 4 second fixation cross page. At the moment I have set up each stimuli (an image), followed by the rating scale and subsequent fixation cross in a block. I have 26 images, so 26 blocks. I have used the timer features with auto-advance after 10 seconds, while showing a countdown for 10 seconds for the stimuli (image) presentation. After 10 seconds it auto advances to the next page which shows the same image along with a matrix Likert scale rating question underneath. I have a 5 second countdown on that timer as well to encourage prompt responses. After they submit their response, a fixation cross comes up with the timer set to auto advance after 4 seconds.When I randomize the blocks in the surve

Hi,I have semicolon delimited text in external data reference that i am using to dynamically generate a list of options for my users. This list is customised per user in the contacts directory.I am using Javascript to generate the options, however the checkboxes are not loading, only the text is loading. The code I'm using is below.
