Survey Platform

Hi All, after launching the Qualtrics dashboard results to all the managers in our organization, we noticed that it’s displaying blank—no images or text—even after clearing the cache and restarting my laptop. Can someone help me resolve this issue?

Is it possible to have the header’s primary color vary depending on the current page the user is on?For example, on page 1 the header could be red, on page 2 the header could be blue, and so on.

I have a ranking question in which I want 4 options ranked. However there’s also an additional open text “Other” option which is optional. Now since the drag drop assigns rank to all options, the other option gets ranked as well and requires a text entry. How can I apply custom validation that the text entry is only required when other is ranked 4 or higher, and not when it is ranked 5. P.S I’m aware of pick, group and rank option but the formatting for that question type is not very functional.

Is there a way to edit the Survey Response Email to only include the Embedded Data that I programmed and NOT the ‘URL to view response’ or the ‘Response Summary?’  I have tried multiple ways of editing the OPTIONS.  If I deselect “Include Response Report”  then I don’t get any information in the email response. The email recipient does not want to have access to the individual responses.  Only want to track who has completed.

I have a side-by-side with 9 questions (all 9 will not always be answered), and 7 columns (only care about the first column, “Yes”). I would like to use piped text to carry all “yes” responses from the side-by-side to a later text/graphic ‘question’.  The code ${q://QID650%231/ChoiceGroup/SelectedChoicesForAnswer/1} does work, however I want the text/graphic question to list each “Yes” response question from the side-by-side as bullet points (rather than one long, unreadable list).  Anyone know how to do this? Thank you!

Is there a way to change the label for a dataset source in a dashboard?  I ask because I have a survey that was built but the dataset source is adding the word “form” to the end of it when it’s nowhere in the title.

I need to set up a similar database ... I need to create a flowchart of shops, district and region, so that I have updated information for current and historical transactions... these transactions are sent to qualtrics by Api from another connected system...Can you help me with any idea of how to set up a database in Qualtrics?

So I have a survey that I am sending via personalized links with embedded data and posting publicly where we have no metadata about those users. The survey has three different incentives and I’ve built out the correct survey flow for the personalized links such that one group gets incentive 1, one gets incentive 2, and one gets incentive 3. Ideally I want to create three anonymous links that also link to each of those incentive options (I know which groups to send the link to). One link for incentive 1, one link for incentive 2, one link for incentive 3. But I don’t know how to customize the anonymous link such that it allows for multiple surveys to be taken off that one link AND it knows to only show the desired incentive.  Anyone know how to do this? The only idea I’ve got right now is to copy my survey three times and then merge the data on the back end.

If I add an authenticated WebService call to a survey’s survey flow, is the API key exposed to the client’s browser? Also, in workflows, it’s possible to add an authenticated WebService task so that the key is not exposed in plain text in the Qualtrics dashboard. Is that possible for survey flow WebService calls?

Hi, I need your help. I’m making a survey. In Q1 I would like to ask about the preference (top choice, single-choice Q). In Q2, I would like the preferences not chosen to be displayed again and I’m asking the question again looking for the choice nr. 2. How do I make Q2 based on the answers not chosen in Q1?

Hello! I'm working on a survey that includes several blocks that use Loop and merge. The list to loop through is quite long (> 100 items), and therefore I am pasting the contents from Excel into Qualtrics. For some blocks, however, Loop and merge gets stuck saving and I cannot seem to figure out why. The contents of the list to loop through contains free text, including characters like (), _ and -. Could these characters be the cause of the loop getting stuck saving? Or is there something else I need to pay attention to? I have searched the web for an answer but have not been able to find one as of yet. FYI it also gets stuck saving sometimes when I paste row by row, i.e., paste in 1 row and then save, so not only when pasting the entire sheet.Related question: is it possible to link Loop and merge to an Excel/csv file so there is no manual work involved at all?

Our school district allows staff members to donate some of their sick leave to others based on an approval system.  Individuals can donate in increments of 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, or 24 hours.  But there is a cap of 160 hours total from all staff members combined. The request...is there a way that Qualtrics can total the number of hours selected and after 160 hours combined has been reached, that the survey “pauses” itself?  OR alerts someone that 160 has been reached so they need to quickly pause it themself? Any insight or approach would be greatly appreciated!!  Thanks!

How do I randomize blocks 2:1: I don’t want my randomization to be even. I want one video to be seen twice as often. I tried to duplicate the block but received an error message.

HI I have embedded data for (start and end dates) and start and end time, it was working fine. I recently notice it is no longer capturing these details on my survey. I will appreciate any directions.  The start and end time are the most important for me. Thanks

I manage a few different internal surveys and generally use 2 reminders after the initial survey invite. I’m using the Qualtrics email functionality so reminders just go to people who haven’t completed the survey and the number of responses are usually split like this - Initial invite = 40-50%, 1st reminder = ~30%, and 2nd reminder = 20-25%.For one survey I’m getting asked to just use 1 reminder. Two reminders doesn’t seem excessive to me and it just seems like if I only use one I’d lose 20-25% of responses so I looked if there were any best practices but couldn’t find anything. So at the moment its just a difference of opinion over whether the extra reminder will irritate people getting the survey which trumps any any data/stats.So are there any industry best practices on reminders that includes the number of reminders? I’m looking for something I can show my boss that would either show that 2 is fine and won’t irritate people getting the surveys or prove me wrong so I can change my a

I am conducting a survey with 2,000 individuals and have noticed a significant number of high RelevantID Fraud Scores (score of 30 or higher). I am seeking clarification on what this indicator represents and how it should be interpreted. Additionally, there are other indicators such as Q_RelevantIDDuplicate, Q_RecaptchaScore, and Q_BallotBoxStuffing, which capture different types of fraud activities. How do these differ from the RelevantID Fraud Score? This issue is particularly puzzling because when I cross-validate the data without excluding respondents with a RelevantID score of 30 or higher, my dataset aligns more closely with the national sample compared to when I exclude these respondents.

Hi,I’m an absolute beginner to Qualtrics, but I’d like to get user feedback on a floating gif/video next to text in a qualtrics question, which means I need to add a floating gif to a Qualtrics question. I’d like to keep it stickied in place in the bottom right corner. Could someone help me create the code for this in iFrame, unless there’s a better way to do it, add a fixed float position to css? I found a previous post with code for iFrames for Qualtrics, but the post no longer exists.I found an article online that talks about embedding a video that floats: https://www.cssigniter.com/make-sticky-floating-videos-page-scroll/ and I can get the video to appear, but I can’t get it to autoplay or float which means I’d need to use a gif. But I can’t find a tutorial for a fixed position gif on the page.Any help would be appreciated. I tried adding the following to the image in the rich content editor of the question to see if I could get the gif to float along with the webpage as you scroll

Hi, I’m having a problem to realize a validation. I attach my questionnaire design below.I have two questions. In the first question, participant will fill a number with maximum of 100.If this number is smaller than 100, participants will fill two numbers in the second questions. I want to set the validation to make sure the sum of these two numbers is exactly the difference between 100 and the number they filled in the first question. For example, if I put 20 in the first question, I should put two numbers in the second question with the sum equals to 80. How could I realize this validation in the second question? Thank you so much!1st question’s QID is QID1453. Here is my current JavaScript code for my 2nd question:Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() {    // Adding dollar signs before the input fields    var inputs = $(this.getQuestionContainer()).select('input[type="text"]');    for (var i = 0; i < inputs.length; i++) {        var input = inputs[i];        $(input).insert(

Hey there, when i want to review and publish my changes in Text IQ, so that i can work with the topics in my data, it says: "Changes can’t be published until Text iQ is updated". But how do i do that?? There is no update buttom displayed or anything...Best regards and thanks in advance

I would like a 'save' button in the library. The automatic save does not function properly for me. I waste time hoping it will save after all of my changes have been made and then waste more time going back to check that it captured everything - some of the time, it does not update with all of the changes I made. I want a 'Save' button that allows me to control when I save.

Hello, I would like to export the signature ID from the signature question using a workflow into a google sheet I am trying to build a workflow that sends my survey data into a google sheet but need this signature unique ID and do not see the option to map it in a workflow. Any suggestions?

Never had this issue before, but Qualtrics is excluding chunks of emails for “duplicates” in my Directory even though I have embedded data that makes them unique rows. Never had this issue before and have been doing it this way for years.

Hello everyone,I have a question that you might be able to answer. I rely on the swarm intelligence.I have a data set with more than 50 variables for a question (recodes of an unaided brand awarnes), each variable contains a brand and the remaining responses are filled with 0.I would now like to merge these and exclude the "0" so that I get the total number of brand mentions at the end.I have tried it with "Add new Variable" and "Combine" but this has not led to the desired result because the "0" values were simply taken over and you can only combine a maximum of about 20 variables.Perhaps someone else has already had this problem and has a solution

I sent a few test email invites to a company domain, hotmail and gmail. The body of the email includes ${rand://int/1:99999}.The gmail account stopped receiving the emails.I have edited the from name, subject and email body and now no email domains are receiving the survey. Will someone please let me know how to resolve this?Thank you very much.

I recoded my values from 6-1 which show in parenthesis when exporting to Word doc, but there are additional values shown next to my coded values. How do I change those?  I tried the Variable Naming option and that does not seem to change the values shown on the export.
