Hi, I am struggling to figure out how I can change styles of the next button on selected pages. For instance, I want to have a special next button (e.g., big red circle in the middle of the screen) for some pages (not all pages). Is this possible with custom JavaScript? I am trying to set up a longitudinal survey where I send daily survey links to our participants' mobile phoneMy questions are:1) Other than using SMS, is there any other way to distribute?  I know there is a Qualtrics offline app but am not sure if the survey can be distributed to participants via the app. 2) I want to distribute the daily surveys during random time blocks (for example: 9 am to 1pm, 1pm to 5 pm, 5 pm to 9pm) everyday and also randomize the times at which they are sent within each time block. Is there a preprogrammed feature in Qualtrics that can do this? From what I have seen, you can only push daily surveys at specified times. If not, can this be programmed using a web based script that uses the Qualtrics API/any other method?3) Is there a way to close the survey at a specified time (for example, if participant has not responded after 2 hours) but re-open it the next day? Hi everyone!I have a question where I ask respondents about their contacts with other firms. I have a relatively large set of firms active in this sector (around 1900), and I am asking questions such as 'in which firms have you worked before'? I would like to have an autocomplete question where the respondent can type in a few letters and be directed to the firm names that I have recorded (i.e., an autocomplete option). At the same time, I would like to give the respondent the possibility of choosing more than one firm among my list, and ideally to add the name of a firm that is not in my list. I would like each choice to be recorded as a separate answer, because I plan to build a network between firms and respondents.I have tried the code mentioned in this thread, which works well for what I am trying to achieve, but does not work if one enables the 'multiple line' option in the text type.

Hello!For a project I'm looking to embed a simple game in which I can keep track of participant's scores. Any game along the lines of snake, tetris, or a simple puzzle would do. Inherently I just want to have the participant play the game for let's say a minute and get their score after each round.Thanks in advance!

Hi all - I have a 4x3 matrix question where respondents enter three numerical values in each of four rows of open text fields and I need to calculate the median value in each row. Qualtrics doesn't appear to include a median math operation and scoring isn't available for this question type.TomG suggested the below code to someone who needed to calculate a max value and I'd love something similarly simple if it exists. I have a very large set of images in a library folder. Each image needs to be inserted into an item choice in a Pick, Group, Rank question so users can placed it into groups. Manually inserting the graphics isn't feasible because of the size of the dataset. I have all the Qualtrics urls for each image, I just don't know how to implement them. Additionally, there would ideally be 192 choices, each with one image and no words, and each user would be shown a random 20 of them. Qualtrics seems to limit the number of choices to 100, but is there any way to work around that using Javascript?Thank you!

Hello,I have some items with audio tracks. It works great on desktop, but on a mobile device, it doesn't show any information regarding track duration (it just has 00:00) and does not play anything. I'm not sure how to fix this since it's only happening on mobile. I'm not having it autoplay and providing instructions that responders click the play button.

I want to change the color of just one of the radio buttons on a multiple choice question, but only for the last response (i.e., don't know response). For example for the following question, I'd like to make the circle under "don't know" a red circle instead of black, and if "don't know" is selected I'd like the fill color to become red. Ideally, I'd like it to work in either a horizontal or vertical position, but horizontal is higher priority. Is there a JavaScript I could use for this?

How to extract email addresses from a survey, import them into Google Calendar, and have Calendar send them an invite to their calendar. Is it possible to add to the calendar each time someone fills out the registration? I heard that API is what I need but have no clue how to create a API for this and we would need to use it for multi events coming up next week.

Hello,I am trying to figure out how to have my landing page read aloud text-to-speech (one block of text) but want respondents to be able to pause and replay as needed. It would only be for this question. I am not familiar with JavaScript/HTML and have searched through previous posts to come up with a messy script that will read the text when I click the microphone button, and will display speak/pause/stop buttons (but those buttons do not work). I am needing to export a list of contacts in a mailing list or possibly email the list of contacts to my email. I've searched through the API documentation but could not find anything that would work. Is there a way I can do that without exporting it manually through the dashboard?

I would like to make sure that adding the Google Calendar to the survey sends add to calendar option. I also need to have the event on the google calendar before anyone signs up using the qualtrics survey. So do I need to create a panel for each event or can I pipe the email addresses from the survey to the calendar? Can I create the event on google before someone signs up?For the time being I have workflow setup to send the thank you for signing up and have a file for the calendar so they can add but we were thinking if we use the google calendar we can edit the event or cancel and it will send the information all at once thru google.

Hello,One of my questions in the survey has 29 choices divided into 5 groups. I want my participants to be able to see all the 5 groups and the choices therein. As you will see in the attached screenshot, the select box table provides a very small window. Is there a way to increase the length of this window so that the entire table is visible?

I have a text entry question with flatpickr to pick a date, and jquery using embedded data (if it exists) to set the date text. (The idea is that if we already have a date on file, it fills that; otherwise, the user picks a date). I have about 2000 images (on my PC right now), and I need to create questions using all of those. I am new to the Qualtrics APIs and could not find any pointers in the documentation about creating/updating questions with images. Is this possible with the current set of APIs? I would like for the Project/Assgn and Percentage columns to freeze (not scroll). That way when the respondents are looking at later months, they can still see the Project/Assgn and Percentage columns.I would like to add (sum) the percentages in the rows in the Percentage column so that when the respondent enters numbers, they add up (sum...total) at the end of the column.I've looked in the community discussions and have found similar topics, but nothing that will help my situation. I do a lot of multi-country studies and when asking about income, I set up individual questions for each country and use display logic such as Country=USA etc. to show the correct currency, e.g. USDIn Switzerland, there are 3 spoken languages (IT, DE, FR) and I want to give respondents the opportunity to answer in their preferred language and see their currency (CHF). The study is also being conducted in Germany and France where people can answer in their chosen language and see their currency (EUR).My challenge is to allow people to choose their language and see their own currency questions in their own language. If I set up 3 currency questions for Switzerland in IT/FR and DE, if I make all languages 'visible' how do I know which language someone has chosen to do the survey in so that I can show the correct language for the currency question?Alternatively, is it possible to ask Swiss people which language they would prefer and use this choice to a) deliver the s

Hello! I am trying to create a question, that multiplies one of the earlier answers in a survey, and shows a small portion of it. All would work fine, except for the fact that any multiplication below *0.05 results in the amount being 0 for amounts that are too low (e.g. it works just fine when the input is 10000, but throws a 0 when it is 5000 or 1000). Does anybody know why that happens? Is it maybe some issue with the decimals? All help is appreciated!
