Hello - we are distributing a community survey via an anonymous link (QR code and shortlink posted on a flyer). We are incentivizing the survey with a digital incentive via Tango Card. I understand that incentives can be challenging when you don’t control a distribution list of pre-determined possible respondents. We will be sending the gift cards to an email that respondents enter at the end of the survey, but we don’t know what those emails are going to be ahead of time. I’m wondering what the best practice is for designing the survey flow and settings to prevent people from being able to complete the survey more than once.Some of the security settings work as an initial barrier, but people can get around those by using different browsers and different devices. We’ll of course make sure that we only pay a given email one time.

I’m using the flat layout and would like to reduce the space between the footer and the question container. Is there a way to do this? 

I am trying to get maximum and minimum values from respondents. It will only make sense if the max is always larger than the min. Is there a way that I can create an error/block if participants get their results the wrong way around?

Hi!Anyone knows how I can validate that non of the cells is left empty?They should write here a number. I tried to add validation but it only apply it to one of the column. I want to make sure that on the level of each row, each column is with a number (both # operated and # with card readers)

Has anyone figured out how to send incentives without asking for an email address? We are trying to send an unbranded survey. Obtained a private URL. Obtained a Tango account. Thinking of using Facebook advertising for recruiting (sounds crazy, but seems others have done this). I learned the only way to automatically send the incentive is to ask for an email address, however, this may reduce participation. Are there any slick ways to execute without asking for an email? Likewise, if someone thought of a different brilliant solution, please do share!! Thanks all!

I'm considering a small incentive (i.e. $10 gift card) to increase response rates. Does anyone have positive or negative experience using incentives, especially with B2B customer respondents? Did you see an increase in responses? Thanks!

I am planning to make a unique ID for a participant by asking questions like their mother's birthday.While ensuring participants' anonymity, I want to gather their contact info in order to provide incentives.Can I create a separate Qualtrics survey for gathering contact info and enter the survey link into the original survey's last section?Thanks so much in advance!!

Our API brings in an embedded date field as the following: 04/01/2024 03:30 PM. But I cannot figure out which date format I should use to ensure that “invalid date” does not appear in the response ticker widget. The date is the date of their admission ticket, which is what my teams would like to see in their daily report send from the dashboard. This helps them recognize when an issue might have occurred for the experience. 

We have a workflow set up to create a ticket if a customer is making a suggestion in an open-ended comment. When we get that ticket, we assign it a root cause but what we would like to do is report on it. i.e. How many suggestions are we getting about customer service? Or the technology we are using? Is there a way to do this? I was hoping to be able to assign them the root cause of “customer suggestion” and then do a subtopic of what their suggestion is related to but I don’t see a way to do that. Any other way someone can suggest that I would be able to track the amount of comments we’re getting for certain types of suggestions and then create a widget for it in our dashboard? Hi, I am trying to figure out if it is possible to reuse a QR code for a different survey. We have printed out QR codes from an old event and would like to reuse the QR codes but have it direct users to a new Qualtrics form for a new event. Is the only way to do this to delete all the questions from the old form and insert all of the new questions, or is there an easier workaround?

I'm trying to develop an anoymous survey that my respondents may complete anytime between Friday-Thursday. I then want everyone who responded to receive a summary of the responses the next Friday. For instance, the survey would be released on Friday, April 29. Respondents would have until Thursday, April 6 to complete it. Then, on April 7, everyone who completed the survey would receive a summary of their responses. I tried email workflows triggered by their submission, but that only allows me to send the email after a specific time frame has elapsed; that would mean everyone would get their summary at a different time. I tried emails based on a time-based workflow, but that doesn't allow me to pipe in text from the survey responses. Is this possible?

I have several questions in which there are two options that are excluded from analysis but I would like to include them in the visualizations in the Results section. They used to show but Qualtrics has changed it so that they now do not show. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thank you!

I have a survey that requires participants to authenticate using an ID. After authenticating, I have a Text/Graphic question that uses piped text to populate Name, Location, and Birthdate that is embedded data from a CX Contacts Directory.The birthdate format in the directory is YYYY/MM/DD. Is there a way to change the format in the Text/Graphic question so it displays to the participant as MM/DD/YYYY?   

Hi, I'd like to add a "Not applicable" option to each statement, so that if someone selects it, they don't need to answer the importance and satisfaction question, if they don't select it, they are forced to answer the other two.I tried adding a third column, but struggled with the validation as it felt like i had to do customer validation for each individual statement and I have a looooot of statements.

Hi, I have created a flow where it’s checked whether the user has already replied the survey, and if so, she/he is redirected to a retake link. Within the Workflow I have selected to apply it also on imported responses. However, when I import responses, retake links do not work, as well as the retake links that are manually generated from “Data & Analysis”. Is it possible to assign retake links to imported responses, so that users can see as preselected the choices of those responses?

I am trying to test whether participants are correctly judging two sentences belonging to a sentence pair on comparative difficulty. I'm using two slider-type questions with values ranging from 1 to 100 where 1 has the label ‘Very easy’ and 2 has the label ‘Very hard’. The sentence pairs are presented directly underneath one another on the same page.In order to make sure that participants understand what they have to do, I have five practice sentences with obviously complicated sentences and an obviously less complicated sentence to match it. Hi! Our team sometimes need to download PDFs of individual survey submissions. Currently, you can only manually download a PDF of a survey response one at a time. Is there a way to update the platform to allow for a mass download of individual PDFs of each submitted response to a survey? Appreciate the consideration and help - thanks!   

I upgraded from a free account to a Core XM account because the features listed include “Up to 10 users.)” I thought my small team could each have accounts to manage various tasks related to multiple surveys.However when I try to create an additional user, I get an error that says I have reached the max number of users (just me.) What exactly is a “user” in this context? Is it really 120 a month for a single admin user account?

Hi All, I’m trying to use this task to setup a scheduled export (which will be sent to a SFTP server).  I need to use this task ('extract response from survey) as I believe it’s the only one that will allow to use a preset response filter.  My problem is that when I go to select the questions, they show up as the question text and not the Question number or label.  This makes it near impossible to ensure you select the correct questions as some of the question text we use is generic (eg. we have a number of questions following a CSAT multiple choice question which states ‘please explain why?’). What is the solution to this?  Is there a way to show the questions (or even QID numbers in this list) so that I can be sure I select the correct questions to export?  Relying on the order is probably not advisable given the window is so small. In my example below the two questions cannot be identified without making sure the question text is unique which realistically we can’t do in the survey

Hi there!I have a survey that is basically two-in-one depending on a specific question that is answered.I want respondents to view their responses and be able to go back and edit before actually submitting. Since I have two-in-one, I think I technically need two EOS functions - since I have to include branching with this flow, the back button disappears when the response summary is shown.  I’ve read that this is due to the branching. Is there anyway to keep the back button, keep the branching, and have 2 EOS depending on respondents selections?? Thanks in advance!
