The survey in question is triggered by a CTA (anonymous link) and should be displayed in the webshop language, but currently this is not the case for some reason. I understand that by default, the survey language is set via the browsing language. In this instance, our customer expects the language to be set by the webshop language. I have read the support article on transporting information through query strings but I have been unable to fix the issue. I tried setting embedded data with q-language, but I have been unable to pull the correct information from the webshop it seems. Does anybody know the correct workflow for pulling the webshop language to set the survey language? PS The webshop language is usually set via the browsing language, but apparently not in all cases.

We are storing links to a response summary (survey questions & given answeres) in our CRM system. Until now, we are using the old Report.php links like:https://fra1.qualtrics.com/CP/Report.php?SID=[SurveyId]&R=[ResponseId]&ResponseSummary=TrueThere are two issues with those kind of links. QX mentioned to us that those links are not supported anymore. They will not be shut down, however, there is no support in case of any issues. Furthermore, the questions can not be displayed in the language of the customer but they are displayed in the base language of the survey. We have surveys that are used by a whole market/country (like Switzerland). If we would make german for example as base language, this would not help the employees from some Italian speaking part. Instead, if it was translated to the language of the customer, this would fit in most cases. That's why we would like to find some alternative. I have a few different people that will review our low CSAT tickets, and they each oversee their own team of representatives. How can I dynamically assign the ticket to the correct person?

Hi Community, I intend to distribute my survey via a link that will be attached to my website. However, I had created a workflow that will trigger thank you emails after the survey is completed and I believe the workflow is not working because it is not pulling data from the survey link. Does anyone know a way to fix this or how do you still pull data if the survey is distributed via a link?

I tend to find that there are quite a few pros and cons of email triggers vs email actions. I have a fair amount of email actions in my surveys and I have to make copies of those surveys (6) changing the values of embedded data fields from one to another and a few other specific changes within my survey. I could make it one big survey, but it would basically be insanely big with a fair amount of variables within the survey. That being said, I prefer to use actions versus emails primarily because I can copy Actions within a survey and cannot copy triggers within a survey (unless somebody knows a way?) and I can also name them something that makes sense visually. The nice thing is that triggers remain when copying a survey. It would be really nice for me, however, with the large amount of actions there will be in each survey, if those would copy when I copy each survey to edit a bit, then it would save me some time (some will be 40 or so triggers in each survey) Any suggestions?

I'm currently trying to pipe the raw results from a webservice to a code task. The task gets the data correctly, but when I attempt to parse it, the code task workflow returns an error:{ "name": "Something went wrong on our end. Please try again or contact customer support.", "message": "Invalid or unexpected token", "needRetry": true}Now obviously this isn't a helpful message. I don't know which token is invalid because there isn't enough information to understand what is happening. Thoughts?

The survey works great for the input information but the results are bad when you want the information to check off the people and the animals. What this person wants in excel is the reg name beside every animal that they are bringing and have the listing by Species and Class. All the Species have questions that were done using loop and merge so they are listed in 4 or 5 columns which we need to be in one column. Hello allThis seems like a simple question, but I've been having trouble figuring how to export survey metadata to GoogleSheets using workflows. We've been able to utilize the built-in embedded data fields, but unable to access other important fields: Start Date; End Date; Recorded Date; Progress. It seems that using JavaScript to record Launch Date and submit date is suggested. But wondering if there is a way to use metadata that's not in the Built-in fields above. I tried to create an embedded data in Survey Flow (Field/bpj_end) and use this as the source but this field remained blank. Also, tried to use RecordedDate & Progress as if they were built-in fields but also null. (Duration & Referrer work as expected).Having record of how far respondents have made into the survey would be great for us. Any thoughts on getting the start/end/recorded dates and progress would be very much appreciated.

HelloWhen a user submits a survey I have it where it sends me a email notification. It does not seem there is any way to really customize/modify the content/format of the email. Want I need the email to have is all the question in the survey even if they are not answered or if any text was entered. Is this possible?

Hi!I have a directory full of contacts, but I don't have the language registered for them. Is it possible to save the language value when they are taking a survey (without directly asking the language from the respondents)? I guess I should be using embedded data but somehow I cannot manage to do it. Additional info, I am sending out the survey via email from Qualtrics but I also use the anonymize response function.Thanks for your help!

I think this has been asked before but I'm very new to Qualtrics and so I'm very much a novice when it comes to creating workflows on this platform. I've created a survey that will require two parties to review and approve the initial responses before the final decisions are emailed back to the responder. Can someone help me with the tasks (and possibly blocks) that are required for this type of flow? And if someone has a sample of this kind of logic they wouldn't mind sharing, I'd appreciate it!

Hello Community!I'm curious if anyone has come up with an alternative to delivering individual response summaries and results for selected questions by email tasks in Workflows.Here's the requirement. I have a series of projects where I need to deliver alerts to others in my organization when a survey is submitted. Some are condition-based (for instance, when the respondent indicates on the survey that a contact person has changed, it triggers a message highlighting the specific change), while others are "always on" (a full response summary is sent). In previous data collection cycles I've used email tasks in Workflows to deliver these alerts. But we've run into two challenges. 1. The volume of emails is more than the recipients prefer to manage. 2. More problematic: emails are not being delivered because my organization's spam protection and the Qualtrics servers do not communicate with each other, and this causes Qualtrics to flag valid email address in my organization as undelivera

Hello,I built a brief post event survey to go to registrants for a travel trip. I would like to have them upload one or more photos from their trip, and then have the photos sent to a trip specific Dropbox folder. In addition, I would like the photo file names appended with the name of the trip (instead of IMG_1183.jpg or iOS_Photo1.heic). So, I have a few asks:Is it possible to upload more than one photo?Is it possible to have a workflow where the photos are sent to a Dropbox folder?Can I have the photos appended with the name of the trip (taken from an embedded data field). I can understand why it's not a standard function for privacy considerations, but does anyone know of a workaround to allow the participant the option of having a copy of their response summary emailed to them? I would look into JavaScripted solutions, but the response summary is one of the few elements that isn't really built into the web editor (would be nice), so I wouldn't know where to even start.

Hey!We are building a surveying journey for a coaching program. We want to survey our participants at 3/9/12 months of their 1yr journey. They can start whenever (no universal start date) so we'd initially add them to the first distribution list when they start. I do not require an answer from them on our survey (though we wish to have as many answers as possible!) to move along with the journey. So I want to be able to move them to the 9-month distribution list once they've been sent the 3-month survey even if they don't reply to that survey. The 3/9/12 months surveys cover different aspect of the journey so we've built 3 surveys along with 3 different lists.The workflow options are very limiting, what other options do we have? It is unfortunately unmanageable to do it by hand as our participants have all unique flows. Any tips will help!

I have a survey that employees fill out anytime a client enrolls in a program. So far the program is small (about 20 people).I am creating a 2nd survey that practitioners will fill out weekly. I would like the first question on the new survey to list all the names of the program participants. The practitioner would select the clients who were active in the program that week and then answer questions for each client who was active. I have created a contact list trigger with client first and last names. Is there any way that I can have that contact list autopopulate a multiple choice question on the second survey? If not, is there another way to accomplish this? Or will I need to manually update the second survey each week to reflect new clients? I am just learning the ins and outs of what Qualtrics can do and so far I can't figure this one out.Thanks!

I’m planning to do a longitudinal study with two parts, and I'm using Prolific to recruit participants. After completing the first survey, I’d like participants to be randomly assigned to receive the second survey either 24, 48, 72, or 96 hours later. Is there a way to do this automatically or in conjunction with other software?

Hello,Is it possible to use embedded data that is not based on a contact in the survey platform? Use Case: I am using the survey platform to collect updates on previously submitted information. Q1: Select Program (multiple choice)Q2: Statement A. Click to update Statement A (multiple choice, Statement A is different depending on the program selected)Q3: (Displays if Update Statement A is selected) Text Entry for updated text.Q4: Statement B.... etc.The statements A, B, C, etc. already exist outside of Qualtrics. What I've described is possible if I attach the program, statements, etc. to a contact and embed the contact list data in the survey. I am wondering if it is possible to embed data via a csv upload that will allow me to draw on these preexisting statements throughout the survey. For example, see here:I know that I could do this with different questions and display logic, however I am working with thousands of statements requiring thousands of questions, so I want to avoid this

Hey fellas, I'm having a really weird problem that's really leaving my scratching my head. I've got a survey setup to to send a follow-up email to the survey participants parents, with a linked survey followed by an ID number to link it to the child (srid) and a number identifying which parent is responding (pnum). However, I've tested it a couple times and for some reason the URL is included in the email multiple times, in various semi-complete iterations. I've included all of the relevant workflows.^^^ this is what the email ends up looking likeAny help would be appreciated :)

Hi, I have a non-authenticated web service workflow on a survey. No matter what I do, it keeps saying "Be Sure to Finish Configuring the Workflow". Qualtrics sees the workflow as being incomplete, therefore I cannot enable it on my survey. I've made sure everything is filled out properly on the workflow. There's no outstanding fields that need to be filled in. Everything is proper. Even when I create an entirely new workflow from scratch, the same issue happens. This issue is preventing me from getting work done. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?Images attached.
