How to increase the font size of the row statements on a dropdown matrix table?

I used this before and it only worked on the rows and not the columns of a matrix table. .Skin .q-matrix .table-cell { font-size: 16px!important;} .Skin .q-matrix .answered-indicator span { font-size: 14px!important;}But it does not work on my matrix dropdown table.

How to place labels below text input boxes

I'm trying to create a form as part of a larger survey where the labels appear centred underneath the text input boxes but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this and I've searched everywhere! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to customize the question and answer option alignment?

I wish to emulate a online delivery platform for one of my project. For this, I wish to display an image on the left side and then answer choices (from qualtrics) on the right side. See the example given below. How can I create within Qualtrics? The respondent will pick one the three choices.

Website Feedback / Feedback Button / Embedded Data with JavaScript variables

Hello,We have a stand alone app which we embed on some of our partners' websites. We created a site intercept to get feedback on users' experience (feedback button + survey).In embedded data creation, I need to be able to differentiate the data by partner. However all our pages have all the same URL (not variable), so I cannot create embedded data from URL. Support team kindly suggested we use Javascript variables.My question is : where do we write the variables ? On the web page, or is it possible to add them on the snippet code extracted from Intercept Deployment from Qualtrics?Can you provide an example?Thanks for your help.Marc

How to increase the border size of a row within a table

Dear Qualtrics Community,I have a talbe with 4 rows and 9 columns and I just want to increase the border size (not of the entire table) but of one of the rows that's in the table. So in particular, I just need to increase the size of the two vertical borders and two horizonal borders that surround this particular row. How do I do that? I've searched the qualtrics archive but was not able to find anything similar. I've tried the rich content editor and played with cell properties and table properties but I've been unsuccessful. I'd appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!

Track minutes listened of Audio Files

I created a survey with an audio file that I uploaded into one of the survey questions. I need to track if the participant started the audio file and into the amount of minutes they listened to this audio file. I've seen posts about using HTML or JavaScript code to track this in embedded data. I'm not sure how to create code for this. Can anyone assist? I would appreciate any help someone could offer. Is it possible to track the page analytics for a mock-up webpage added as an iframe within a survey?

Dear Qualtrics Community, as part of a research project, I am exposing participants in a survey to one out of two possible mock-up e-commerce websites (picked through the Qualtrics block randomizer) embedded within the survey as an iframe. I have full control over the mock-up webpages since they have been created on WordPress purposely for this experiment, therefore I would have full access to the page analytics of the mock-up webpages (e.g. time spent on page, clicks, products added to cart, etc.). After interacting with the mock-up webpage, participants are asked to answer a set of questions pertaining to their experience with the website. This is basically the reason why I opted for embedding the page within an iframe rather then re-directing participants to an external webpage with a link, since I suspect that I would lose many participants if they have to come back to the survey after browsing the external webpage. It would be fundamental, for the purposes of my research project,

Issues with 'withdraw button'

Hi Qualtrics users,I have a question which I thought I might throw out to the brains trust to see if anyone is able to help.As part of designing a survey, my team and I would like to include a 'withdraw from survey' button. I have been using this forum to include the button (link), but unfortunately it is not working as intended. I need to clear selections in a side-by-side question.

When a user is answering a side-by-side question and selected an answer but then decides they don't want to answer this question at all, is there a way to, for example, add a button or something that allows the user to clear all their selections for that question?

Delaying Answers while ALSO hiding next button until response

Hello,I have found successful js code on the forum for delaying answers for a period of time, as well as for hiding a next button until a selection is made. I am in need of a way to do both in the same js code, since I need an audio clip to play fully before answers appear, and validation without a response replays the entire question, which is what I am trying to avoid. Grateful for any insight or assistance!

Custom code for reaction times not working

Hello everyone,I commissioned a java developer to build the code below to record participants' reaction times, meaning how long it takes from the offset of a stimulus on screen to participant pressing a response key. Can you set up a question so a respondent can see further details if they hover over/click on the q?

Hi, I'm setting up a survey where respondents will rate the importance of various constructs as outcome measures for student mental health and well-being. The first survey was open-ended (asking people to list their priority indicators for this), and now I'm using those responses to ask the same panel to rate how important each one is. Some terms could use with some elaboration, but it looks messy if I have so much text in the question. Is there a way I can add a definition/examples of what a term means e.g., if the respondent wants more info they can hover over a word, or click a word, and more info pops up? Thank you! Alyson

How to disable copy and paste on half a page of a survey, but enable for the rest of the page?

Hi there. I'm trying to disable copy and paste on my one section of my descriptive text in my survey, but enable it in another. In other words, I have two questions (both simple descriptive texts) in one block, I want one to disable copy/paste, and another to enable.I've inserted the following code to disable copy/paste (which worked); however, it disabled copy/paste for the entire page (which is not what I wanted):      body {-webkit-touch-callout: none; -webkit-user-select: none;-khtml-user-select: none;-moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none;user-select: none; }  Any help would be much appreciated .

Deriving Domain Name from Email Address

I am looking to add a column/variable in Data And Analysis. The logic for this would be to simply extract domain name from email address provided during survey. ex. testemail@qemailserver.com -- qemailserver.comI couldn't find simple way to do that. I explored option to use embedded data and piped text.${q://QID4/ChoiceTextEntryValue}Is there a way to use any regular expression like substring to extract domain name while defining embedded data and piped text? How to wait random seconds to go to the next page using either webservice or JavaScript

Hello,I'm building a survey using quota. To prevent overbooking on quota I created a branch in the surveyflow where I check if an option in the survey is selected AND if the quota has been met. If so then display the same block again. Using displaylogic on multiple choice options prevents the display of an option where the quota has been met.Only we have a lot of respondents starting at about the same time. Because the new number of selections on an option in a quota is set to slow overbooking is possible. How can I slow down the process checking the quota so the number in the quotasettins can be updated first before the process goes on?Or is it possible to use a webservice to update the quota after a respondent finishes the first time selection?

Why custom HTML Radio buttons are not displayed in actual survey?

I created radio buttons using HTML to change the way I present the question. Please find the attached image. However, when I preview this question in Qualtrics. The radio buttons are not displayed (see below). How to enable the radio buttons?Later, I would like to fetch the data based on the response provided by the participants. How to achieve it?

How to time a block in a survey?

I am trying to time different blocks different time in a survey. Like for the first block say 15 mints, second block say 10 mints and so on. Also, each block will have 10 questions or more and I don't want to divide the time into sub questions. Instead I want the entire block of questions to have a fixed time of 15 mints. How can I achieve this? Can some one help me resolve this problem?

How to change the default message text on 'Force Response'

Is there anyway to change the default message of force response from "Please answer this question" to other customized text in one area?Is it only thru JavaScript? Can someone share the script if possible?I am afraid that if it is possible, I have to add to all of my questions.

Is it possible to add a Custom Validation Message from the Library into javascript?

Hi, I'm using some javascript from case nr 4 on this document that I found: https://psrc.princeton.edu/sites/psrc/files/html_tips_tricks.pdf But I wondered if it is possible to call up a custom validation message from the Message Library instead of a hardcoded error text. So instead of: var customErrorMessage = 'Write your message here'; to have some variable that uses a specific message from the Library. Especially because Library messages support translation, I'm hoping that this way I can make my error message multilingual. (And no, I can't just use the Custom Validation option instead of JavaScript because the Graphic Slider question type doesn't support Custom Validation)
