CSS code for removing border/outline

Hello!We are using a dynamic theme for one of our surveys. When the option or button ("Previous" or "Next") is selected, it's showing a black border. Does anyone know the CSS code for removing the bolder/outline?Thank you very much for your time!!!

Drag and drop questions - How do I force at least two items in each used box?

Hellos!I have a drag and drop question in which respondents need to allocate 100 items to 20 boxes. 1) They do not have to use all 20 boxes. 2) They have to allocate all 100 items. 3) They must allocate at least 2 items in each box *that they use* (i.e. not all 20, consistent with (1)). Dynamic Answer Choice

I am trying to hide answer choices to a question that have already been chosen ONLY if the respondent chose the same answer to a previous question (Event Date). How do I disable open ended text in one column if the checkbox is selected in the preceding column?

I have a side by side question with two columns. Ideally, if, for any of the four statements, "None" is checked in column one (allowing for multiple answers), the open ended text entry in the subsequent column for that row would be disabled. Is this possible?

Advanced Timing Code in Survey Builder

Hello, it is my first time using Qualtrics and I am attempting something which requires additional coding knowledge to execute. I am a novice coder as well, so I thought I would post a question to see if anyone has any advice. Below, I describe what I am attempting to do. If anyone has any tips for where to start or what to try, I would be extremely grateful. I have a number of surveys of varying lengths that I need to present. The surveys are all in different blocks. There is one (slider) question that needs to be presented before and after an experimental task as well as every 2 minutes after the task for a total of 10 minutes. I want to execute this while the participants are filling out the other surveys. I am trying to get the slider question to appear regardless of where the participant is in their questionnaire responding, and once the slider question is responded to, the participants resume filling out the surveys where they left off. Remind hover or something like that

Hi,In my survey, I put an image at the beginning and I want the participants to be able to come back or just have a reminder of the image for 3 blocks.Idk if it's possible to put a small element with the same function as a hover in html language. Side by side reset button does not work

Progress Bar Progression

HelloI have six blocks with a total of 50 questions which results in about 8 pages in the survey. I use a variety of question types. The progress bar stays at 0% until you are on the third block or about half way done they survey then it jumps to 67%. I would like for the percentage to update as you progress through each question and page so that is shows like 10, 20, 30%, Please help.

Code to ensure next button always leads to next block

I know that when users re-enter a survey with their custom link, it automatically takes them to where they left off. However, even if they use the table of contents to navigate back to the beginning, the next button always redirects them to whichever block it thinks they left off at (thereby skipping several blocks and forcing use of the table of contents to get them where they want to go).How do I ensure that the next button always leads to the very next block (and the back button always leads to the previous block), regardless of how much of the survey users have completed or whether they are re-using their custom link prior to submission? I tried using branch logic and it just isn't working the way I need it to, so I'm hoping JavaScript is the way to go here.(I don't really know JavaScript, but I can copy/paste code, figure out its function, and alter it to get it to do what I want as long as I have a place to start.)

Mobile View on Desktop for Matrix Questions

Hi all, I would like my matrix questions to show up in the same format on desktop view as they do in the mobile version. I have tried previous solutions posted in the community (e.g.,https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/1525/how-can-we-apply-the-mobile-layout-of-matrix-question-to-the-web-one), and dragging the options to the far right does not consistently work for all Matrix questions. Please let me know if there is a way to do this consistently across all Matrix-type questions, perhaps with custom code? Thanks in advance!

Multiple text entry with a 'click to add' option

Hi, I would like to make a question that enables people to create as many answers as they want in a separate answer box. This is quite similar to this question (https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/4136/1-question-multiple-text-entry-fields), but I don't want to limit the number of answer list beforehand. Instead, I want to allow people to add an answer box below the previous answer by selecting 'click to add' option. (Please do not recommend 'multi line' option. I need a separate answer list because I need to bring it back to evaluate the individual list in the last part of the survey!) Thanks!

How do I make a response not visible to the participant once they have entered?

I am putting a timed question into my survey which will require participants to type as many (one-word) responses as they can think of for that category, within the given time. Is there a way to make their previous responses not visible once they have typed them? I have managed to set it up so that a new text box appears once they have filled the previous box and the timer stays there but this just creates a list of all of their responses and one of the things I will be looking at is repetitions so I need their previous responses to disappear as otherwise this will influence possible repetitions. I think this will be possible using JavaScript but I have never used it before so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Hannah

CHANGING MARGIN IN MATRIX-TYPE TABLE

Hello, I hope this is a simple question: Can someone please tell me how to increase the right margin of a matrix-type table. I'm using a 5-point likert scale, but can only view 4 of the 5 points. Here is the screen capture:As shown above, it starts to cut off on the 4th scale point (Usually), and does not show the 5th scale point at all: "Always". Is there something I can update in "Look and Feel/Custom-CSS"?Thank you in advance.

Workflow Code Task to Delete Any Directory Contacts Who Have Not Received a Survey

Hello,Our university is using the XMLite Directory which has very limited searching and filtering options. I am unable to select and filter the directory using the advanced options outside of the basic name and email contact fields.My directory listing has 80 pages of contacts which is very time consuming to filter and delete any contact who has not received an email distribution message.I would like to schedule a workflow Code task to run monthly that would search the Directory named 'HRS-Data-Import' and would then select and delete any contact that had a value of NULL for the 'Total emails' field.Has anyone written Code that would accomplish this task? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you! 😊

Can we add unique borders to each option in a 'Multi choice' Question?

Allowing text entry in the middle of a sentence

Duration of a block with multiple pages

I want to calculate the duration of a block that has multiple pages. For example, one block has 23 questions. Each question shown on a different page. I want to know how long it takes for respondents to get through the block. I do not need for the timer to be visible to participants. Using Javascript to set a multiple choice (multi-select) response

I am trying to use js to set a response to a survey question based on the response to a prior question. The question I need to set the response for, however, is set to not display (via DisplayLogic) based on the answer to the initial question.For example (in plain language):Question1: Answer AAnswer BIf the user chooses Answer A, they are sent to the end of the survey.Question2 - multiple choice, multi-select:Answer1Answer2Answer3Answer4I would like to set the response to this question as Answer4 if the user chose AnswerA in Q1 and never saw this question.Is this possible?

Passing a javascript generated answer to the next question

In my survey I have a google map with locations that display in around a users home (from a city they submit). CORS issue: Survey Editor and Library on a different subdomain from the actual survey and preview

I am using my organization's account to make a survey. I have images and JSON files stored in the Survey Library that I am importing using JavaScript (jQuery.get(...)). However, the Survey Editor and Survey Library are on xxx.ca1.qualtrics.com while the Preview and published survey are on xxx.qualtrics.com. Hence, I am unable to access the files when publishing the survey (the preview within the editor works just fine) due to the following error:"... No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."How do I fix this?
