Hi All, I have this code programmed on the THEME of my survey:.Skin .Matrix table thead th:last-of-type { border-left: 2px solid #8D8D8D4D;} .Skin .Matrix table .ChoiceRow td:last-of-type {  border-left: 2px solid #8D8D8D4D; } .Skin .Matrix table .ChoiceRow td:last-of-type label {  margin-left:0px; } .JFEScope .Skin .Matrix .q-matrix.mobile table td:last-of-type {  border-top: 2px solid #8D8D8D4D;  border-left: 0px;}.JFEScope .Skin .Matrix .q-matrix.mobile table td:last-of-type label {  margin-top:0px; } HOWEVER, I don’t want to apply it to a (single) question. Is there a way to overwrite this in the javacode for a single question? - I would like it still applied to the theme, just removed/ignored for a single question.

I am wondering if there is a way to limit the number of choices in a multiple select question. For instance, let's say I want the validation range to be Must Select "1" but No More than "3" and what I want to do (but can't figure out how) is if they have selected 3, I don't want them even be able to highlight another bar (or make another choice) unless they deselect one of the 3 already selected choices.Case: I have a one page survey that has 10 questions and they won't get the error message until they try to hit the submit button, in which case I'm worried they won't scroll back up to see the error message and will instead close the browser.Thanks in advance for advice!

I am having 2 embedded fields called Hire Date and Termination date and I wanted to calculate tenure through piped text. How to insert a piped text for this. Hire date and Termination date are in date formats where as the tenure should be in a number format like for example 10 years they are in the service.

This should be a simple question, but, for some reason, I just cannot crack it or find this information online.I have a set of questions in a block. They are randomized so only one shows to the respondent. I want to use JavaScript to detect which one is shown and have the script take an action based on that. The approach I’ve been taking is to try to detect if it was shown and set an embedded data value to indicate whether it was shown or not. I’ve tried several different things. For example:if (jQuery("#QID1").isHidden()) {  Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('Q1shown', 0);} else {  Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('Q1shown', 1);}I was hoping to use this to use in a later if/else statement to execute some script if one question is shown rather than another.

Hi Everyone! I have a company logo in my email invitation header, and my email inbox UI is displaying a URL for my graphic header, when I want it to show text instead. I was told that this can only be accomplished through the use of custom code. Can anyone provide guidance on how to have the email inbox UI display text instead of a URL? I think seeing a long URL as the first line of an email reduces response rate. I would like to avoid removing the graphic in my header if possible. Thanks :)

Hi, is there a way to force a single switching point in questions as the one reported below? Basically, I want people once the switch from option A to option B, to remain on option B for the consequent questions as well automatically.This is a task that people in an experiment have to play. They can choose whatever they want. The only think I would like to have is that whenever they switch from A to B (it can be after the first radio button, or after the second, the third and so on), then they can only choose B thereafter. This is basically a consistency requirement.For example, if someone chooses A in the first three radio buttons and then switches to B at the fourth one, I would like to have that from the fourth one on she/he can only choose B, or even better than B is compiled automatically thereafter. I would like this process to work not only for the example described but in general.

I am interested in piloting a new question type called ‘confidence weighted multiple choice’ and would love to use Qualtrics for this pilot.  Below is an image of how it looks to the end user and how it is scored behind the scenes.  Does anyone have concept of how something like this could be done - if at all?  Full article on the topic can be found here.  Thanks for all thoughts!Adam  

Hello, I am trying to set up an intercept with the embedded feedback on a website. The website contains various articles, and my objective is to gather feedback for each article, utilizing its unique article ID as embedded data. Since the URL changes for each article and displays the article ID, this data will be utilized. The survey questions should be the same for each article.I would like to set the condition as ‘Once the survey has been taken, the user shouldn’t see the survey again for that article’ That means, if a user completes the survey for article 1, they won't encounter it again, but they should still see the survey for articles 2 and 3 until they complete those. To achieve this, I've configured the advanced options within the action set as follows:Display options : ‘replace creative contents’ & Same size as creative    Action Set Sample Rate : 100% & If not sampled, continue to next Action set.. Hello XM Community,I'm working on a survey project where participants are asked to identify both their starting and ending cities for a specific journey. My challenge is to do with  categorising these journeys as either intrastate (ie within California) or interstate. For context, in California alone, we have 12 major cities, resulting in 66 possible city pairings, plus the reverse direction of travel.  We have 4 states in total.Using traditional branch logic and embedded data fields in Qualtrics seems impractical due to the sheer volume of potential combinations. My goal is to find a more efficient method to group these responses correctly without having to manually code an exhaustive list of combinations.I am thinking about post-processing step outside of Qualtrics, as we have already 100K responses.  Is it possible to use a web service to process responses in real-time and ca

Colleagues then engage in a process of copying and pasting data from the Google Sheet into our in-house CMS.Is it possible for Qualtrics to populate our CMS? If a change is made to the data in the CMS, could this then trigger a Qualtrics event, such as sending an email?Thanks :) 🤞

Under the Data & Analysis tab, we created a filter for “Recorded Date” equals “last 7 days”. When I call this filter, using the Qualtrics API, is “last 7 days” equal to 168 hours (24/7) back from the moment it’s run? Or is it today’s responses, so far regardless of the time ran, plus the previous 6 days? (or something else?) Thank you

I am designing a survey where respondents identify the sports they played in Q8, Rank them in Q9 (using carry-forward), and then I want to embed the rank #1 in a series of questions, and then repeat those questions for sport rank #2 and #3.Q8: Participants indicate number of years they played in sports (if at all) from a list of 17 different sports.Q9: Uses carry-forward items of chosen responses and ask participants to rank the sports in order of importance with most important sport ranked #1. How can I enable auto advance in the theme BUT disable on the last question/question block. I want people to be FORCED to answer a question but NOT autoadvance to close, after answer is submitted. Any javascript? Any HTML code? Or is there code for each block to autoadvance? Help!Update to my question. If yes is selected here, I want to autoadvance to next screen/closing. If no is selected, I don’t want anything to happen. So how do I implement autoadvance on the whole survey BUT only one response for the last question?

Hello,I have a situation where respondents can select multiple responses to Q1 (a list that could have up to 100 possible options). Hey Team,First time poster here.I have been getting an error while trying to run a MS Flow using HTTP - Post to upload sample data to survey.I can get it to work within postman so the credential side of things seems to be working. I want to display a series of images with a slider question using the loop and merge function. I have loaded the image urls in field 1 but I am unsure what the html should be to get the images to show. I have tried this - ${lm://Field/1$} - but it is not working. thanks in advance for any help

I am developing a survey that has respondents rank a list of terms. They can currently hover over the terms in the answer choices to see a definition of the term. (I used these instructions: https://osvaldas.info/elegant-css-and-jquery-tooltip-responsive-mobile-friendly) I need to be able to track which respondents access the definitions while taking the survey. I think it would be easier to have them click on the text for a definition (instead of hovering) and track whether they clicked on the text but I'm not sure how to do this. I am looking to create a loop and merge for one question with 60 images. I’m entering the codes correctly (I think) but there isn’t anything showing up when I preview the survey. The code itself (${Im://Field/1}) disappears. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening ? Here’s what I uploaded in the loop & merge : I have a free account, could this have anything to do with it?

I'm using the Qualtrics survey to ask about the event date so that they can pick it up on a calendar. I want it to be the one that actually displays a calendar as opposed to the others that have drop-downs. The dates available for selection should start from 14 days after the date they fill out the survey. The user should not be able to choose a date within 14 days from today. How should I do that?

Hello,I added a privacy notice for my survey and added a custom text on the next button saying “I consent to the processing as described above and will participate in the market research study”.Unfortunately the text is quite long and not fully displayed on mobile. How can I add a line break?If I do it with HTML, then this code is shown as button text, but no line break is executed.FYI: I have a customized survey layout with logo and customized colors for buttons, maybe this has an influence Thanks & best,Laura
