See the following fictitious, but representative example. Suggestions on how to handle this dilemma are most welcome!So say we're interested in the school system in the late 1900's and want to survey parents who had a child that graduated between 1990 and 2000. Hi EveryoneVia Admin, I just created a new, fresh, test account.When logging in, I already had 3 projects shared with my new test account. And after further tests, all users under our brand account have these projects shared with them.When looking in collaborate via the project owner, no account is selected to be shared with.How do I stop sharing these, seemingly automatically?Thanks :)

Recently I found out about this issue - here is an example:QID1 includes an “Other” question that has a text box.QID2 uses the carry-forward choices for QID1.  The option “Selected Choices - Entered Text” is used. If “Other” is selected in QID1, the Selected text for QID1 is displayed for QID2; HOWEVER, when you look at the data, the Other-Text Entry for QID2 is blank.I reached out to support, and they stated that this is “intended functionality” and said that would be an excellent suggestion to submit. Is there a way to populate that have that QID1 Text into the QID2 text entry option in the data, or do we only have the option of using branching and populating Embedded Data? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Is it possible to refer to particular elements of loop-and-merge data, in particular elements not part of the current loop?That is to say, if Im on the n-th loop of a loop-and-merge question, then ${lm://Field/1} refers to the n-th element of the first column of my data. Is there a way to refer to, say, the n-1-th element? I know that I could just save it as some embedded variable during the n-1th loop, but I’d ideally like to refer to any value in the entire loop-and-merge data conditional upon the choices of the survey taker. So this would get unwieldy.  Thanks for any advice!

Hello all! I want to create an indicator if an open-ended feedback response contains 300 or more characters. I know I can use branching logic to create an embedded data field for this indicator, but I am not sure how to set up the trigger. Is this something I'd need custom code to do?

Is there an option in the API getSurvey (or another way) to download fields with the 'Use choice text' option instead of 'Use numeric fields'? (That option is available in the survey Export GUI.)

Himy webpage is hosting a form embedded inside an iframe, I tried firing up my survey based on the existence of a certain element inside the iframe but the intercept doesn't scan the iframe DOM at allcan you direct into how can I tell my intercept look for a condition inside my iframe?thanks!

I am using a form field color-picker question so respondents can choose colors they associate with given sounds. I have uploaded all of the sounds in individual .wav files to my library, but I am unsure how to reference them in a loop and merge question. I want respondents to listen to all the audio files three times, but in a randomized order, which I think the loop and merge function would achieve. Thanks in advance!

I have 7 radio button on my survey.  Values 1 to 7 in Recode values and advanced scoring.They all return the correct value except for the second one.  It returns 8 and not 2.Where is this value 8 coming from?The ID of the button is QR~QID5~1~8, it should be QR~QID5~1~2?Anyone had this before?

Hi AllHope everyone is well.I have a strange behaviour, in that edits in 1 theme (CSS), are being copied over into another theme.As you can imagine this is highly annoying as I just about get something right in 1 theme, then check the other and its also updated that CSS.Any ideas? Thanks :)

I’m setting up a survey with heavy custom CSS.But when validation error message appears kinda mess up with my theme. It changes the question background and stuff. So how can I customize the validation error message and the question background error look?

Hi Qualtrics community - have a very specific issue we’re hoping someone has experienced / could help with: We have a survey that was coded in English (base language is English), and then is translated (translated text pasted into each question using the Qualtrics Translations tab).  We need to edit the HTML of a question so we can insert a piece of HTML code to allow the question text to show a variable that changes as the question loops. This worked perfectly in the English version of the survey, where we directly inserted it using HTML view in the Builder tab. But, when we try to insert this HTML code into the “Source” HTML of the translated survey question in the Translations tab, each time we exit out of the survey, this HTML code edit disappears. How can we edit the HTML code of the translated version of a survey question without it disappearing? TIA!

Hello all,I am trying to pin a video at the top of a page when it loads in my survey so that respondents don’t have to scroll down to see it. I have looked at forum posts that pertain to having question texts at the top of the page, but would that code still apply to my situation? I am also trying to figure out how to get my video to autoplay once the page loads. In my survey, I am asking applicants for their date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY). I would then like to calculate the applicant’s age based on the date of birth they entered in the survey and based on two specific dates in the future (19/02/2024 and 24/07/2024). I have created an embedded data field with the field name ‘Age’ and the value is set to the text entry question for the date of birth (${q://QID2/ChoiceTextEntryValue/4}). When the applicant enters their date of birth, I would like to calculate how old they will be on either 19/2/2024 or 24/07/2024. I think I need to use Javascript for this background calculation, but which script do I use for this, there are so many out there and none of them seem to work. Where do I then place the Java script? Into question QID2?I then want to add branching based on the result of the calculation. If the calcuated age<18 on 19/02/2024 or 24/07/2024, the branching goes one way; if the age is=>18 the branching goes a different way. I have set this

I have used HTML to design the look and feel of the survey including the forms. Now i can’t see the feedback on Qualtrics. I can only see the question i didn’t use code for.

I used to use the following javascript successfully to both 1. hide the next button and 2. go to the next question after 6 seconds. I am trying to use it now, and it does not work (the next button is hidden, but the question never advances). I want to record a count of how many times a respondent changes their window while taking my survey. I have the following code, but it doesn’t read in the `DocumentHiddenCount` embedded field (set to 0 at the start of the survey) correctly. I want to add new labels (as in topics) before every repeat header in my survey. Appending an image below. Just like Commercial strategy and planning, want to add headers before every repeat header, is that possible ? 

I am trying to use Punchh’s dynamic code generation to create a coupon for users. The problem is, the API uses JWT.IO to create a JSON web token and this doesn’t seem to be a common practice within Qualtrics. Any ideas on how to go about accomplishing this? I assume I would need to use JS to create the JWT and concatenate the pieces of the URL in the survey flow, but creating the JWT is the biggest hurdle… 

I am conducting a survey in several countries and in different languages.  I have hidden the language dropdown and have been using Q_Language=EN (for example) in the survey link to set the language for each country.Canada is part of the survey and I want Canadians to choose English or French as they wish so I have added in a question at the very beginning of the survey (visible to Canadians only) which asks which is their preferred language.If they choose (for example) French I have set up a branch and set the embedded to Q_Language = FR-CA.Trouble is it doesn’t work.  The survey continues in English even though I have added a French Canadian translation.Any idea why it doesn’t work - can Q_Language be changed once the survey has started?Is there another way of achieving the same result, i.e. Canadians (only) having the ability to choose English or French?Many thanks in advance.

Is there a way to set the color of an element in de CSS editor to change according to the primary/secondary colors chosen in the Look&Feel?For example, I want the previous/next buttons to be the primary color, then change to the secondary when hovering. If I leave the color empty, the platform will take the secondary color as default.
