Employee Engagement

hello everyone,I was trying to create a feedback survey towards colleagues in an organizational structure and ran into a problem with questions based on a hierarchical organization. I imported the participants following the template provided by the platform "Generating a Parent-Child Hierarchy" with attached hierarchical structure, then added the question based on it. However, doing a test I cannot select the individual user who is part of the hierarchy, but only the manager. Does anyone know why this happens? Why is it that if I search for "Jane Smith", i.e. the employee, I cannot find it? Thanks in advance!

Hi All,Any help would be gratefully received.I am trying to build up a link and need to pipe the Unique Person ID into it. I thought it would have been one of the following:${e://Field/Q_TS_PID}${e://Field/Q_TS_RE_PID}But neither work and do not return anything. Has anyone got the correct syntax please?Or even better if someone has a way of piping an entire retake link, that would be even better! Thanks!

Is there a way to use the response ticker, or another widget, that won't group all comments by participant if all our open-text questions are selected for display? If we filter on the open text questions individually, the anonymity threshold prevents many of our managers from seeing their comments, and if we select all the open-text questions, it groups them by respondent making it easier to deduce who the respondent is.

Hi Team,We already have an level based hierarchy created and also it was added to dashboards. We closed our engagement survey and doing our analysis. We identified that, an additional level to be added to the existing level based hierarchy. Please let me know how to do this as I don't see an option on Org Hierarchy Settings.Appreciate any help on this.

I am new to my organization and Qualtrics and am looking to create a new pulse for 2023Q1. Is there an easy way to see all the questions the organization has ever asked in pulse surveys? I don't have access (yet) to historical pulse surveys before my time.

I cannot find how to transfer employee lifecycle. The previous creator already resigned and I took over. I can transfer other surveys from the Admin to User to Transfer Survey but I cannot find the survey or lifecycle related to the project.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there's a way to automate a change in one or more fields based on another field. In the EX directory I have an automation to import employees from a file. This file contains a field (Terminated) that could be valued with T or F based on the fact that the person still works for the company or not. I'm searching for a way to change some fields if the directory when the Terminated field is "T". We use some fields in the directory to get partecipants in some surveys and I wanted to find a way to not get the terminated employees into the new surveys. I hope my request is clear 😅Thank you in advance, this community is always very helpful! 😄

Hello everyone, I'm implementing a dashboard for an Ad Hoc Employee Reaserch survey. I would like to show the response rate of the survey based on an embedded data set in the survey flow. I've tried using the response rate widget but as I reckon you can only use it with metadata fields. Is there something I'm missing? Moreover, regarding the Question list widget, I would like to sort the questions by distribution using the negative percentage. Is there any way I could use that instead of the positive one?Thank you in advance

Hello! I am working with a client who is building a lifecycle survey. The client has provided me an employee file containing your standard metadata, but Age and Tenure are provided as specific dates. The dashboard filters will be much easier to navigate if these two fields are presented as buckets (i.e. Tenure Band of

Hi all- My execs are asking if we can add more benchmarks alongside our engagement survey results. Right now we are using the Qualtrics benchmarks (Kenexa WorldNorms, I believe) and an industry set provided by our consulting partner every two years. Curious if anyone has suggestions for other resources that have been well received in your work. Thanks!

I have an existing EX survey that has been running for years. I have not changed any of the settings however I am now getting the following error when clicking on the anonymous link:"This evaluation can no longer be completed"I have logged a ticket with Qualtrics and they have escalated but just thought I would ask while I am waiting. Thanks in advance

What is the character limit for team names on a hierarchy in EX?

Interested in hearing the community's thoughts - and looking forward to the new Qualtrics benchmarks - on Employee Engagement post-pandemic. During the pandemic many companies saw an upswing as they focused on employee safety, well-being and flexibility. Now that the pandemic is behind us and given all that is going on in the world - what do you expect to see and what are you seeing?

Hello everyone! We are conducting a new survey in the Lifecycle format. We need to be able to send an onboarding survey to a new employee every time a new employee signs up on the platform without having to redistribute the survey to all contacts. It's possible? Thanks!!

There is no shortage of data on the future of work. But beneath the numbers are distinctive and inspiring human stories. Stories that illustrate how incredibly important this moment is to all of us – in our organizations, our society, our families, our careers. To that end, we're excited to share with you the first-ever production of human stories about the Future of Work. We call it Work: New.0 – and you can check it out HERE.We just released Part One (12 mins) and we think the XM Community will find it really compelling. I’m curious to hear what you think after watching it! Michael

Hello, I am looking to automate the distribution to a survey to a new hire's manager. For every participant in my directory I have a manager and a manager email. What I would like to do is trigger a survey to the manager's email based on the participant's metadata. For example, when participant reaches 60 days post hire date, send a survey to the manager. I know how to address the time automation, so that is not an issue. I'm not sure how to trigger the distribution to the manager versus the participant. Open to all ideas :) Thanks!

The output of my experiment is too large for an excel spreadsheet as it presents horizontally. I've got about 125,000 cells, horizontal only has about 16,000 Given the dimensions of excel docs, I should be able to get all the data to load if I'm able to transpose it to a vertical presentation of the question output (up to 2mil) . I can't transpose it after uploading into excel, because the remainder of the data won't load. Is there a way I can dictate a vertical output with question details on the y axis and participants go across the x axis?

Hi, I'm a newbie and trying to figure out how to or what form to use when I need to create a survey where it's possible to retake the survey and save the new responses (not override the old ones), but still use the same link I initially sent to the participants. As a short background, I'm using Qualtrics for a different way to gather information from specific managers on what their hiring needs are, which usually changes and they have to input again, and I have to store those and keep the old ones.I tried using Lifecycle, because of the authenticator and being able to validate Participant information. But I'm stuck in allowing multiple retakes, because I need to have an anonymous link, which I'm thinking is a link where they can just bookmark on their browsers when they have to return back to it. I'm looking at other posts in the community, if I can use Multiple Completes in Email Survey Invitations, I need to use Survey, but I can't upload participants to have an authenticator.Apprecia

Hi all- New user, converting surveys from another platform. We are on the EX side of the house, so the initial survey type was 'Engagement'. All our surveys are set up as anonymous, so I'm not using the participants or messages tabs.I've read several pages on generating fake data (such as: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/generating-test-responses/ This sounds like a time-saver so I can start setting up reporting.Unfortunately, that option to generate test responses doesn't show up in my tools menu (or settings). I tried with the survey active and inactive.Any suggestions on what else might impact the ability to generate test data?Thank you!

Hello, i would like to put a mandatory answer for those who anser NPS below 7 and those who answer 8 or more get a not required answer in free textIs this possible or its easier to put answer required for all?

Does anubody know what the exclamation mark sign means here? When I hoover over I have a "Done". Do people still can access my survey? Thank you

Hi, I have created test dashboard on Qualtrics and I am trying to share the dashboard with managers. Is it possible to share the dashboard in a way that managers can login and can see the dashboard on the platform and be able to use filters etc. to view the data from different perspectives? I also want to make sure that they only see their direct reports responses. All i am seeing is sharing PPT or PDF, which is a static report and also I need to create the template from scratch - since I spent so much time creating the dashboard on the platform, not sure why I need to create a template to share with managers from scratch. Would like to share the actual dashboard that I created. Thank you.

hi, I have created org hierarchies and provided access to managers to their respective teams. I have some people (e.g., our CHRO, people analytics team) who would need to see data outside of their hierarchy - basically all of the company's employees responses. Can someone please help me understand how I can do that? Thank you.

Hi, I want to send Qualtrics Engagement Survey via slack to all employees in my company. I am using the anonymous link so I can send the survey as external link.Currently, the only option I see is sending the survey to a channel with all employees in it and the Qualtrics bot appears in the channel. However, I want the invite to appear in the apps section (specifically in Qualtrics apps) on each individual's slack. Can someone please guide me on how I can distribute? Thank you.

Hi All,We are in the phase of implementing Qualtrics engagement surveys for one of our customers and we have already built a survey which has been distributed to 30 participants in the customer team, however there were some users who got an incorrect message as "Your either have completed the survey or your session has expired". Please note these users have never taken the survey earlier, this is the first time they got an invitation mail and they tried clicking on the survey link.Kindly advise if you have also faced similar issues when you distributed surveys to your participants and what could be the possible reasons and solutions for these kind of issues?Regards,Manjista
