Dashboards of survey results

I added a few questions to the Exit Survey template pre-built by Qualtrics. There is a pre-built Qualtrics dashboard. How do I add the results from the questions I added in the survey into the dashboard view? Example: I added 'how satisfied were you with your role'. That question was not part of the original template. I need to see the summary of the responses in the pre-built dashboards.

Randomizing Comments from evaluators

In the 360 report, how can you get comments to show in a randomized order? I have 7 different pages of comments and I have one rater group where the comments from one rater are always appearing first on the page

Response Count

I accidentally deleted a response and then re-imported the response from the data set I had exported earlier and now the response is not showing up on the dashboard. I've tried re-indexing and refreshing the participation count. What do I do?

Scales

If you go to Dashboard  Settings  Scales do we need to adjust all the scales or will it automatically adjust for us based on the survey questions (red, yellow, green).

How to show 5-point scale range in EX dashboard

Duplication of answers entered when running report

Currently when I enter responses into Qualtrics the quantity amount is doubling. There were only six responses for this course and when the data imports into the report it doubles it. Also, the following fields do not pre-populate into the report: (1) #11, e-mail address field, (2)#13 address, (3) #14 comments/feedback field.

How to change Survey URL/link/ID in Multiple Actions Simultaneously? Piped text?

Hi, I'm building a survey with lots of 'Actions', and in these 'Actions', I have retake survey links, e.g., ''https://.....qualtrics.com.....SV_xxxxxxxxx?Q_R=${e://Field/ResponseID}&Q_R_DEL=1''. The problem is, whenever I want to update the above links in these 'Actions' (like copy the survey project), I'll have to update every link manually, which may cause mistakes if I missed one of them. Is there a way to have a piped text of survey ID/link/URL? Just like the "${e://Field/ResponseID}" part so I don't need to update every link? Would be really nice to have something like "${l://SurveyURL}?Q_R=${e://Field/ResponseID}&Q_R_DEL=1'', but "${l://SurveyURL}" only works for survey distribution not for 'Action'. Also, "${l://SurveyURL}" will produce something like "...../SV_xxxxxx?Q_DL=xxxxxxxxxxx=email", and I only need the part before "?Q_DL....". Many thanks.

Why doesn't historical data appear in comparison in a comparison widget?

I have two EE survey projects including data from two points of time. I'd like to see the earlier survey's data as comparison column in a comparison widget in the later survey's dashboard. I have so far done the following (not necessarily in this specific order): 1) Mapped org hierarchies of those two survey projects; 2) Mapped data fields within Project Mapper behind dashboard's settings; 3) Added a comparison for earlier survey in the Comparison Editor (page filters to be included; active org hierarchy with current unit to filter); 4) Added the comparison in the comparison widget. However, the comparison column in the widget doesn't still show any value. Have I missed some steps? What could be a reason for not getting the values visible?

Include company overall (top unit) comparison

For reporting dashboards, managers need to be able to see how their scores compare to their parent unit and the company overall (the top unit of the organizational hierarchy). I added a parent unit comparison by following the steps here. It talks about showing overall data, but doesn't say how to do it. It's certainly not "current unit" or "parent unit". Using the hierarchy the used as the example, I want Web Design (current unit) to see the roll up data for Digital Marketing (parent unit) AND Company X (overall/top unit). How do I do this? 2/18/2019: Never mind. I figured it out.

Digital signature

Dear community members, is there a way to have a digital signature on the email invites that are sent from Qualtrics, especially from EE. Due to the nature of our activities, people dislike the noreply emails a lot. We were contacting the Support about it and were told that for the EE platform it is impossible to amend the sent-from email address in the same manner as it is done in CX

Adding a Research Core survey as a EX dashboard source

Hi guys, is it possible to add a Research Core survey as a EX dashboard source? We have run one of our Pulses there, but it would be nice to have its results showing in the main EX dashboard, as we have had some of the same questions there. I can see the survey in the list of sources for selection. However, when I select it, i receive the following error: Unable to add source: due to error: 404 NOT_FOUND

Changing login info for EE participants

Hi, How do I change login information of the EE participants of the existing and running Engagement survey? Can I just reupload the participants list? Another thing is whether it is possible to combine the participant into already existing user? We have a couple of employees that came from another company. We have created their user accounts with our company email for the login via SSO purposes. However, they were added to the EE survey with login information from their previous company. When I try to manually modify their login details in the EE project, the changes are not saved.

360 - Subject and Evaluator Upload Process

I am creating a 360 for one subject. Every time I upload the evaluators, the system automatically assumes they are subjects. I do not want them to self evaluate, and don't want them to receive subject reminders, etc. In short, this is a small project with one subject and 19 evaluators. Only the subject should self evaluate. I followed the instructions in Help to create my CSV file. What am I doing wrong?

Employee Directory search results in alphabetical order

Hi guys, Am I doing something wrong? I am searching for a number of people (a couple of hundreds) based on metadata. I need the search results in alphabetical order, but it gives not all results in order, but every page is sorted in alphabetical order based on i-don't-know-what. Randomly puts one dude starting with A on one page, another one on the second page, etc... Is there a workaround?

Is the Tread Report a downloadable template for a 360?

I'm building a report for a 360° and the Tread Report, which was the report example shared with us when choosing Qualtrics, has many of the elements I would like to utilize for the report. That said, I can't seem to find the template. The video tutorial doesn't cover how to create those types of tables and graphs. Any assistance is appreciated!

Need to add manager who is not evaluating

I followed directions to add a manager who will not be evaluating a subject. However, when I typed the manager in to add them (by clicking on the subject name in the Participants tab, then clicking on the Relationships tab, then entering a name in the Add Relationship field), no options appeared when I entered a name or email, and I know they are in the directory, so they should appear. Any tips as to why this would happen?

Why use an external evaluator?

I am not clear on the difference between an evaluator and an external evaluator. For the survey I am creating, three different roles (intern, mentor teacher, manager) will be evaluating a fourth role (field instructor), and the first three will never be evaluated themselves. I don't want to manually go through to mark a few hundred people as external evaluators if it's not necessary. Is there really a reason to mark someone as an external evaluator? Is there a way to do this through the import? Are there consequences for not marking someone as an external evaluator if they should be?

We here at Qualtrics continue to churn out cool new stuff at breakneck speed! Let's talk about some of the highlights for November thus far. There's Display Logic in the survey, and then there's Display Logic in Reports. And by Reports, I mean Reports-Reports, not Results-Reports. You following me so far? I hope? Anyway, Reports have allowed you to hide visualizations that don't have enough data in them for a while. But now this feature has been upgraded! Now you can add Advanced logic where you can hide and reveal visualizations based on stuff like responses, mean score, minium or maximum values, or sum of all data collected. ! The Mobile App SDK's offerings have expanded! A second Creative called the Mobile Notification is now available for use. You know those little banners for apps that appear at the top of your phone's screen? Now you can make some for your mobile app! (In light of these updates, the Mobile App Project support page and Mobile App Prompt Creative support page

Is there a way to direct participants to a "forgot password" page instead of login page?

In a 360 project, is there a way to include a "forgot password" link in the Subject Invite instead of the "Login Link" or "Login URL". This is to ensure that the Subjects dont have to go through the steps of first going to the Login page and then clicking on the forgot password link.

360 Questions

Is there a question set / block that exists in Qualtrics for a 360 or do I need to start from scratch. We are currently just testing the functionality, so plan to change he questions for our purposes, but am looking for a starting page.

How to move back and forth between blocks with display logics?

My survey have blocks with display logics. When participants meet the logic condition and move to a new block, they will lose the ability to go back to the previous block. Does anyone know of any workarounds to this situation?
