Hi! I am creating an always-on “suggestion box” of sorts where employees can give suggestions to other employees. For this, I envisioned a question like “Please select the employee from the dropdown menu whom you’d like to give a suggestion to.” The issue: The dropdown options need to be a list of all active users in our Qualtrics instance. How do I get this to work? 

Hello! We are using the 360 project type because we need the automatic reporting that it generates. But we don’t want our participants to use the 360 portal. We would like them to take the survey from a regular browser tab just like they do with Engagement or LifeCycle projects. Is this possible?  FYI, it’s not an actual 360 program. We are just using the 360 project but technically everyone is just taking the self assessment.  Thanks in advance!!

I would like to share a list of the links for participants' self-assessments with someone, who is inserting them into personalized reminders. Is there a way to export all of them in bulk? I know it's possible on the survey platform, but I can't seem to find this in 360.

We have the requirement to automatically delete responses from the system after a specific number of days. However, the time periods should be different for engagement surveys and 360 feedback. Engagement survey responses should be deleted after 120 days whereas 360 feedback responses should be after 365 days.Unfortunatelly, the default deletion policy does only allow 1 setting per brand. https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/sp-administration/data-privacy-tab/data-retention/#SettingUpStill any ideas how we could automate this process?

Hello All,I was hoping for some insight. I am trying to use to Team to distribute our Engagement Survey (EX) and it sends out correctly, but in mobile it only sends a card but it doesn’t work. But it will work on the desktop version. 

Is ETX only intended for interactions with the IT area, or can it be configured with different areas of the company?

What is the difference in licensing capacity between ETX and EE if the client's need is the transactional measurement of service delivery by the company's internal areas? In other words, each time an interaction is generated between one area and another, a measurement is triggered. Is ETX necessary for this? What should the client consider to achieve this objective?

For our manager reporting dashboards, we provide a comparison to their previous year’s survey score. Our anonymity threshold has been set at 5 more responses for all of our EX surveys. One of our widgets is set up to show the most improved survey items from the previous year and the most declined items for the previous year. In a few cases we have managers who have 5 or more responses this year (2024) but they did not receive 5 or more responses for last year (2023). The widget is still showing a list of items for most improved and declined but there is no value listed in the previous year comparison column.Is the widget truly showing the most improved and declined but just won’t show the score/delta because it doesn’t meet the anonymity threshold or is it showing a random selection of items?

Any suggestions or approaches on how can we address and alleviate the concerns of employees who distrust the computer-based survey process (they currently will only entertain using a handwritten survey). Any ideas on ensuring them of their anonymity and the security of their data, given that in this instance all our survey data will handled by a third-party for analysis?

I would like to gather your ideas for a dashboard design. Specifically, I aim to create a dashboard for an Employee Engagement project with two distinct pages:All survey results without any filters. Results filtered to display only the data for the own department.The first page is intended for all employees, while the second page is designed to be accessible to department managers, allowing them to view results for their respective departments.If we stick to a single dashboard, I see no feasible way to use "Restrict Data" in the role definition, as this filter would apply to the entire dashboard, including page 1. Don’t be scared about all the text.I would be really happy if you share your experiences in the context of the employee engagement invitation process. We are currently facing some challenge in a customer project in regards to data privacy compliance. The project is about a pulse check (engagement) survey. Originally, the idea was to just take all employee contacts, add them as participant to the project and send the anonymous link via the Qualtrics invite message. The authentication must be ensured with SSO. What’s the challenge? The corporate privacy team complained about the fact that the employee contacts are added as participant to the project without having their consent about this as adding them as participant already means that their contact data is processed. So contacts should only be added as participant if they have actually agreed before to receive an invitation email. In our case it is of course voluntary to actually take the survey. I’d like to create an “index” in my EX Engagement survey program where I have an average of 5 of my survey questions (averaging the recode values). Since Engagement surveys do not have the Scoring feature and dashboards do not have custom metrics, is there any other simple way to do this? EX dashboards can do average metrics already based on the survey question recode, but I’m not seeing a way to combine multiple fields into one for an average index.Right now the only option I see is using the survey flow to calculate the average of these 5 questions. This requires 1) using several branching logic sets to identify how many of the 5 questions the user answered, and 2) created a calculated embedded data field to sum up the 5 questions and divide by the number of answered questions identified in part 1.Is there really no easier way to do this using existing tools? Hi everyone!  I’m having a bit of trouble with a dashboard in the app viewer. When I open the dashboard from web, everything is okay, and the participation rate widgets works correctly, displaying the real information. However, when I log into the app to watch the exact same dashboard, none of the participation widgets shows any information. I have checked the permissions, roles and mobile version and everything is configured correctly. Have you ever had something like this? Do you guys know what else could I check or do?  

Our employees should always start the process from the participant portal. Within the messages of the 360 project, it is possible to add the ThreeSixtyLink piped text. However, it depends on the message type how the link is resolved.For evaluator invite, the piped text includes the direct link to the survey For the dashboard invite and custom messages, the piped text includes something like https://brandId.qualtrics.com/360/?q_ts_id=TS_projectId&brand=brandId&_=1All the participants will have access to the Qualtrics platform via SSO. Our preferred approach would be to always navigate them to the participant portal - also within the evaluator invite. I think the link below would achieve this: https://brandid.qualtrics.com/EX/ParticipantPortal/MyProjects?ThreeSixtyID=TS_projectId&ContextThreeSixtyID=TS_projectIdbrandId and projectId to be replaced with the actual IDs… Did anyone try the same in the past and can confirm?

Hi Experts, Please help to generate the 360 standard reports

I have a department EX engagement survey that was sent to 50 people. One page says 15 respondents so far and everything on the dashboard itself says 14. I have left this for more than a day and it has not caught up. Ideas? There are no filters applied to the dashboard.     

How do you promote internal collaboration and high-quality service from Support Units/back-office functions within your organization?    Do you use tools such as Service Level Agreements? What group manages these tools that promote internal collaboration and service?

I don’t know what it is but it feels like the product is actually broken. No matter what I try to do I get an error message. Error this error that. I’ve never seen so many glitches before. I’m trying to create a new project, get an error, try to delete a duplicate project, get an error, try to upload people into a project, get another error, try to build a hierarchy, another error. Then there are other times I don’t even get an error and just a hanging screen that gets stuck for hours and hours with no progress such as when deleting data or deleting a hierarchy. It’s like the whole product is broken now and we are in the midst of our annual big survey and I’ve been putting many hours just dealing with how buggy and glitchy Qualtrics has become. It always had issues here and there but it was never this bad before. Was the entire production team let go or something? 

Hello, I have a question with 5 options, one of the options is Other(Please specify) with text entry enabled.While trying to build a dashboard widget that displays all the responses selected for this question, i would like to display the text entered in the Other option. But the widget isn’t showing the text. Is there anyway to pull the data entered in the text entry box? Thank you!

I have seen the post on how to create a Matrix Statement in one widget (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/vocalize/common-use-cases-voc/viewing-matrix-statements-in-a-single-widget/), however how can this be done for an Employee Engagement survey? I do not have the option to create a Field Group of “Measure Type.” The only option I have when trying to create a Field Group is  “Drill Down.”  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After turning on the participant import automation for 2 lifecycle projects last week, there are still no participants being loaded into the project.  I have tried matching the criteria with the directory and ensured that it should be pulling results and the scheduled invitations are “sending” but to no participants because no one is loaded into the project. Has anyone else run into this issue or have any suggestions for things to check?Been disappointed we haven’t reached a resolution sooner, so hoping someone can help!
