We have been busy improving and innovating the Actions tab so that it can act as a hub of all the workflows in your projects. With the introduction of the Email Task to meet the needs of the Email Trigger, the XM Directory Task to meet the needs of a Contact List Trigger, and the Salesforce Workflow Rule Event and Salesforce Task to replace Salesforce triggers, we will be working towards phasing out Triggers.Deprecation of New TriggersStarting January 18, 2021, you will not be able to create new triggers, and will instead see the message displayed above. We advise you to use the corresponding features in the Actions tab instead of triggers. You will still have access to existing triggers, and be able to edit them as needed. Dashboard filters have been unified across the XM Platform into a single consistent experience for dashboards filters in all product lines, so that EX Dashboards will soon be getting some of the filtering features that were originally developed in other product lines, e.g., CX Dashboards. EX customers that migrate to the new filters experience will get the new features and changes outlined here. Existing filters will be converted so you will have the same filters in all of your existing dashboards. The new viewer experience will be almost identical to the previous viewer experience unless explicitly changed by the dashboard editor. New Features _Click to Filter_ Simple Chart, Simple Table, Pie Chart, Word Cloud, and Number Chart widgets allow users to click on a data point to filter the page. Last week, we introduced a new feature, the XM Directory Task. This feature is replacing an existing one called the Distribute Survey Task. ! What is this feature for? * Studies that involve multiple surveys that must be sent one after another. For example, if each respondent needs to get a post-test survey exactly 4 weeks after they completed the pre-test survey. (There are lots of timeframes you can choose, of course - just an example.) * Saving contact information to a list. If you also have XM Directory, you can also use this task to save transactional data to a contact. * Send out surveys to a transaction created for a contact without overwriting the contact-level Embedded Data. It strengthens email distributions when you're using an SPF record or SMTP relay. Over the last 24 months, we’ve been working hard to develop an improved reporting experience. The new Reports experience is currently available to all of our customers and offers a number of benefits. You can find more information about it on this support page. With the general availability of new Reports, we are deprecating Classic Reports, and it will be removed from the platform on June 30th, 2020. After June 30th, 2020, you will lose access to any reports which were created with Classic Reports, including scheduled emails and public reports. Sometimes it's best to just let respondents pour out their feelings in an open-ended question. But historically, there's less branching we can do with a question that's not multiple-choice - I mean, how can we even tell what the respondent's talking about? It would be amazing if we could tell when the respondent was upset, so we could offer them a nice apology and contact information right in the survey. Or if we could tell when they were praising our program, so we know it's ok to tell them about other offerings they might like. An update has been rolled out that will hopefully please both survey creators and recipients. Now, when a recipient marks an email from Qualtrics as spam, they will be opted out of the contact list the email was sent to. Since the recipient is opted out, this decreases the number of emails going straight to their spam folder, increasing Qualtrics' email deliverability and thus your ability to email all your enthusiastic participants. You can even check on how many people have listed your email as spam (Status "Complaints"), which can be helpful for detecting if an email should be rewritten or a contact list should be cleaned up to improve future response rates. ! Spring is here, and she brought tons of new Integrations with her! You can now integrate your Qualtrics surveys with Hubspot, Zendesk, Servicenow, Microsoft Dynamics, Zapier, aaaand Freshworks / Freshdesk! (Whew.... That list was so long, give me a sec to catch my breath.) In addition, the Marketo Integration has gotten some cool new capabilities. Once purchased in the XM Marketplace, each of these integrations is accessible in the Actions tab of your survey. ! We know those tag managers can be a little tricky sometimes, so Website Feedback fans will be pleased to know we now have an official integration with Adobe Launch, making implementation a whole lot easier. Hey guys - a lot has been improving the product lately, and we’re excited to share it with you! Here are the biggest and best new features: You now have more options for Response Weighting. Choose Dynamic weighting, which allows you to define by the percentage of the distribution the choice should occupy, or Static, which allows you to choose the multiplier itself. ! Survey Sharing got a name change recently and is now called Collaboration. As a bonus, you no longer have to click out to the Projects page to collaborate on surveys - the Collaborate button is right in the survey editor’s toolbar. ! We all love the support pages, but now you can randomly generate numbers without copying and pasting that little code from the Piped Text page. Instead, the Piped Text menu has a random number generator option. You don’t have to go question by question by question to reset your recode values - go to your Tools menu and erase them all with just a click. ! Qualtrics has unbeatable secur

Have you ever run into these problems when building Advanced-Reports? * You need to display data from your 2018 and your 2017 surveys in one graph, but can't figure out how. * You need to compare respondents of different demographics, but you can only add one breakout to your table at a time, and that just doesn't cover all the traits you want to isolate. * You want a mean, minimum, and maximum all in one bar graph... But your only option to display them all together is the Statistics Table. If you said yes to any of these, you can now consider all your problems solved! It's extremely user friendly, and even builds reports for you to save time analyzing data. We've crafted six introductory pages on conjoints, which you can start reading here! So how would I explain conjoint analysis in English? Imagine you're trying to figure out what benefits package to offer employees next year. You don't know if you should increase paid time off, adjust that deductible, or just scrap dental altogether and buy everybody nice electric toothbrushes. You're on a tight budget, and trade-offs have to be made, so a conjoint analysis can help you decide whether the increased time off or the lower deductible are more important to your employees. So who here uses the new Advanced-Reports? I'm excited to let you know that a lot of anticipated updates have been added! For example, you can now add Table Totals to Data Table visualizations, and decide whether these are row or column totals! ! Sometimes, we're afraid to create a public report too early because we don't want to violate anonymity. If Bob is the only person who took the survey so far, and we all look at the public report, we know what answers Bob gave! And maybe we just want to exclude the data-less graphs and stuff from our reports because they're... well, frankly, an eyesore. Hi everyone! We wanted to make you all aware of a quick update Qualtrics has made to Browser Compatibility. Qualtrics is dedicated to protecting all customer data using industry best standards. Beginning today (January 15, 2018), users or survey participants on end-of-life browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer 7 or 8 with Windows XP) may encounter the following error when accessing the XM Platform: “Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.” We strongly recommend upgrading to a supported operating system and browser to ensure compatibility with our encryption ciphers. If it is not possible to migrate from Windows XP to a supported Operating System, it may be possible to use an alternative browser with the necessary ciphers, such as Mozilla Firefox Extended Support Release. If you have further questions about Browser Compatibility, we recommend checking out our support page here.
