 Hello community - In the following research study survey, I am attempting to utilize embedded data to pipe responses to create logic in a SEPERATE survey. As you can see from the screenshots, the ‘adults’ and ‘child’ questions declares the embedded data (from the survey flow, provided responses). The separate survey (as a follow up from the baseline), I declared the embedded data in the survey flow, and I am trying to pipe responses to create logic (display) in the follow-up based on responses from the baseline. It is not working currently… does anyone know/can spot what is occurring here that is causing this issue?  Thank you!!!   

Hi there - I’m doing a research survey that participants should answer only on days that they are working, presumably M-F. I also want them to only answer this for 10 workdays.Whether or not the previous survey was completed, I want them to receive a daily nudge (on workdays) to do that current day’s survey.Each daily survey is the same (same link to the same survey). I am collecting their email address, so sending out the email and embedding the survey link is the easy part. Yet I can’t figure out how to set this up so that they get an email reminder regardless if they have completed the previous day’s survey or not, how I make sure it only goes out 10 times, and how to ensure it goes out on weekdays only.People will be starting the survey on different dates, so I can’t just schedule using the calendar. Ideally, this will all be entirely automated, as I expect a few hundred people to do the survey and I’d rather not have a manual process to get each person up and running. Any ideas? T

I have a task in which participants are shown images side by side and have to answer some questions. This is done through loop and merge in which filed one is one image and field two is another image. These images are shown in pairs. When I export the data, the only thing that shows up is image ID from field 1 and there is no way for me to score the task because I don’t what the other image ID was for field 2. Is there a way I can achieve this? 

Hi everyone,I need help with dynamically displaying a future date in the choice text. Specifically, I want to take the current date, add 30 days to it, and display the result in the format "April 6, 2025" (i.e., full month name, day, and year).The challenge is that this date appears inside each choice text of a bipolar matrix question with two scale points (two columns with respective radio buttons). I’d like to automate this so that I don’t have to manually update the date each time I run the survey.Does anyone know how to achieve this using JavaScript? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,  In a survey, is there a way to show a block/question based on whether or not a customer is part of a specific contact list in the directory? 

We are running into an issue with non-standard choice values across a large group of surveys.Background: When a question populates options, it also creates “Choice Value” per question. For example, if you create a new question, with four options, it has the choice value 1-4 per question. If you delete choice value #3, and then add a new option, the question now has Choice values, 1, 2, 4, and 5. How can i convert questions that have options change back to a Choice Value of 1-4? It seems like this feature is somewhat hidden and not apparent.

Managing these and overseeing project usage and health is taking up a significant portion of my day.Does anyone have any smart solutions for generating comprehensive reports for the entire brand? Is there any way allow a date and timepicker in a form question type please?I think there could be a way using Javascript or Flatpickr but I am still lost looking at the documentation as I’m not technically trained.

Hello, in my study, if the sliders are marked as 50, the participants are paid 100 ECU. The income obtained from the sliders is called labor income. I used an embedded data and JS code to make this calculation. However, sometimes the slider income is calculated and sometimes it is not. What could be the reason for this?

Hi All, It’s been sometime since I created a dashboard from scratch and of a large size but upon creating one today I ran into the limit of 100 widgets (as mentioned (very briefly) here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/vocalize/widgets/building-widgets-cx/).  I am 10 short of what I need.  Has anyone found a way round this? I understand why they have put a limit on this to keep it functioning smoothly but to be honest I have some old dashboards with over 200 widgets on some pages and they work fine.  It should just be a guidance / alert.  I am happy to accept it’s my responsibility as to how many widgets i have on my dashboard (FYI it’s for reporting, producing a set of tables covering all the permutations and combinations setup in a specific way that will then copy and paste into excel the way I need). Creating a second page is my last resort.  I’ve tried creating a widget on a different pages but the page I want to move it to is greyed out. Any thoughts? Thanks Rod Pestell

Hi there,I am creating a survey for a 4x4x2 within-subjects design whereEach question is a different vignette.  There are 32 vignettes total, since there are 32 possible combinations of the levels of the three variables. Only one sentence in each vignette is systematically varied to display one of the 32 combinations. The rest of the vignette is regular text (this text is also different in each vignette, since each vignette is different, but it is not systematically varied or being looked at as a variable). The vignettes themselves are not presented in random order. The systematically varied sentence in each vignette is displayed in random order. Each participant needs to see each of the 32 possible combinations, and not see any of the same combinations twice (non-repetition).I have been scouring the forum and have found similar posts but not exactly right for what I need. Hi, I know that at "end of survey," there is an option to display response summary. But, is it possible for survey takers to go back to make changes or edit responses to their surveys, after they have a chance to see their responses? I spent a lot of time, and can't seem to find answers. When the survey displays response summary, it just ends there, and the survey is recorded and completed. But, I would like the responders to have a chance to correct/edit after they see their responses. Please help! Thanks in advance!

Hi, I would like to set dynamic default choices for my form field question with multiple text boxes. The text will be embedded from a another survey.

Stats IQ/Crosstabs is a separate environment that requires to import the data from Qualtrics survey. This is done automatically for the first time you open Stats IQ/Crosstabs. I selected a date question from Qualtrics Library. Even after selecting or typing the date, the calendar still appears. How can we remove it if a date has been entered or selected by the user?   

Hi there,I have 15 photos of women, 15 photos of men, and 30 sentences describing actions. I need to create randomized pairs where a photo is displayed with a sentence below it, and participants will evaluate the person depicted using a Likert scale. Participants must see all 30 pairs. The problem is that if the photo is of a woman, the sentence needs to be adapted to the female version (e.g., "She brushes her teeth every night"), and if the photo is of a man, the sentence needs to be adapted to the male version (e.g., "He brushes his teeth every night"). Each sentence can only appear once — either in the female or male version, but not both.Participants should not see any repeated photos or sentences. I want the pairs to be randomized so that any photo can be paired with any sentence from the set. Additionally, I need to record which photo and sentence were shown for each evaluation in the dataset.What approach can I use to achieve this?

Hello, I want to design a study on qualtrics. Participants earn some income in the previous stages. Then they have to spend by choosing from the spending options provided. However, what I want to do is to make sure that they cannot spend more than the net income they have. I tried validation to do this, but it didn't work. I think I need to use JS code for this. Hi everyone,I'm trying to ensure that participants listen to an entire audio clip before they can proceed to the next question in my Qualtrics survey. Ideally, the "Next" button should remain hidden until the audio finishes playing. Hello,  I want to make the whole screen full with my survey question, therefore I use this code in “Look & Feel”. However, I struggle as the language selection and the “move on” button are not spaced out with the text. We have tested a survey several times, removed all distributions, all test data and all test contacts from Directory, but in the the Funnel reporting still takes into consideration the deleted data. Is it refreshing at some point? And if not, what should we do to exclude the deleted data from the reporting, otherwise all our response rates will go wrong.

The javascript below used to work with the old Qualtrics, but no longer does. Can anyone suggest how to repair it? Javascript console is throwing an error related to $(document).ready(function()). I’m having a devil of a time getting Qualtrics engineers to engage on a non-functional Vanity URL setup.  Is anyone else having a similar issue & if so, may we coordinate? Right now, my institution can’t really use Qualtrics Surveys properly. I know that research and assessment uses will quickly stack up & you’d think a situation where the product isn’t working - would get more attention. 🤷🏼History: I started a ticket in November when our Vanity URL setup failed.  There was robust discussion between someone within Qualtrics & my Sysadmin (all passed through me and another local Qualtrics Admin) that was mostly a repetition of Qualtrics saying “do this...”  with the reply from my sysadmin “yes, I did that, here’s the error..”   And a return from Qualtrics that was basically “do this… “  (over & over.)Largely due to December outages, the ticket then languished in that no-solution land - and was closed without resolution.  I began again in January .. with a 2 hour tech s

Hi, I have two surveys set up for longitudinal research. I successfully created and link two surveys, survey A captures data and saves to contact list. survey B uses authenticator to retrieve data from contact list where I have default choices in survey B the original answers submitted in survey A. The issue I have is when a user takes survey B and updates a response the embedded data is updated but if I were to take survey B again, I would expect the default choices to update to the updated embedded data. However, it keeps the choices from the initial submission in survey A
