Is there a way to remove all bounced back email addresses at once ? I have more than 500 and doing it one by one is not an option.

How to add static text in between two form entries (and change the order in which box is displayed)

I know how to add static text after a text entry box, but I'm trying to get survey participants to submit two text entries in two boxes in a "form" style; for example: {ENTRY BOX 1} hours and {ENTRY BOX2} minutes How can I code this in javascript, so that the static text is in the right place? Also, how can I make sure the entry boxes are on the same line? Thank you!

Hi All, We have implemented a video in qualtrics, but now we have a requirement to hide progress bar of video and make the video autoplay. We are not using the youtube link, we are directly inserting media for setting up the video. Please let us know if there is anyway to do this? Thanks, Salim

How can I made a slider that snaps to the grid and that shows its value on the right of the slider?

With Slider, I can snap to the grid. With ConstantSum I can see the value of the slider on its right. Is there a way to have both?

Facebook login Javascript SDK only running in first page

Hi there, I have included Facebook login Javascript SDK to create a social login button and display participants' Facebook user picture in Qualtrics. One problem I am facing is that displaying the user picture works fine the very first time I want to show it, but not anymore on follow up pages (i.e. after clicking the next button). The same applies to the social login button, but I only need that to show that once anyway, so that's not really a problem. I've tried simply copying the Javascript code to the question where I also want to show the user picture, as well as adding it to the header in the look&feel, but I cannot get it to work. It works fine for the first question I use it in (regardless of where in the survey it is), but not for any follow-up questions. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks! Individually timed email messages?

Is there a way to send automated, individually timed email messages in Qualtrics? Though the option to schedule emails for future delivery exists, it is only seems to be available for emailing the entire participant cohort at once, not allowing for the possibility of different participants joining the study at different times (needed for studies with rolling enrollment). Thanks in advance for any help!

Product Concept Testing with more than 3 concepts?

Let's say I have a flat concept that I want to test, and there are 6 of them. If I want to create a serial monadic design (meaning testing only a subset of these together), is it possible to only create two groups, such as: ABC vs DEF? Or what's the most affordable way to test this many concepts? Ideas?

How to create variable based on previous response?

I've never used javascript. I'm going to be doing a lot of display logic based on zipcode. Essentially, I want to take a lot of zipcodes (over 1k) and condense them to a couple dozen. My plan was to create a hidden question and create some if logic to condense. So - Q1.4 is where I ask people to enter zipcode Q72 is a hidden question where I hope to condense the codes. From poking around on here, I've got: jQuery("#"+this.questionId).hide(); //here's where I'm hiding the question Which works perfectly... but I haven't been able to just do some simple logic like: if zipcode is '60606' then store '33' into Q72. It seems like this should be really easy.

Qualtrics API export - Missing latest results

I'm using the Qualtrics API to export my responses programmatically. For my use case I need my data to be updated and synced quite often, unfortunately from my tests this doesn't seem to happen. If I fill a survey, and run my code to export the data straight after ( I'm using the partial export) the latest result is missing. Generally after a variable amount of time ( from 10m to 1hr) the data is there. I'm also setting `seenUnansweredRecode` to the caching to kick in, anyone is experiencing the same issue ? I'm using really simple code ( from the documentation) and I also tried using the REST APIs with POSTMAN, with no luck. Thanks in advance.

Autocomplete Javascript with Validation

Display logic following slider question: can't select 'don't know' as trigger

I have a number of slider questions and have included a 'don't know' option for each one. When a respondent picks 'don't know', I would like to ask a follow-up question. However, display logic doesn't seem to allow me to do this: it only offers me options that: 1. have to do with the slider response (less than, equal to, etc.) 2. don't seem to work for the Don't Know button (I've tried 'Contains', but it doesn't work if I type in 'don't know') 3. seem irrelevant ('Matches RegEx' 'Is Displayed' 'Is not displayed') I would be very grateful if someone could let me know whether and how this is possible.

Hello, I'd like to do this (see below) - could someone more knowledgeable tell me whether this is possible with Qualtrics? Record ranking without showing question

We have a list of 19 factors as to why people choose to attend a graduate school program. We essentially want to do a pick and rank question with these 19 factors but because there are so many and some are wordy that format just doesn't look right for the user. We have split this up into two questions. * Q1: Multiple Select - check all of the factors you considered * Q2: Rank - of the factors you considered (carried forward from Q1) rank anywhere from 2-10 of those factors I am skipping over Q2 if they only select 1 option in the first question. My problem is that I want that option to be ranked as 1 in the data for Q2 without the respondent having to see the question and record the ranking. Is there a way to automate this? I want to avoid the following solutions: * Changing the question type to pick, group, and rank * Filtering the data on the back end and editing Q2 as there is a risk that the analyst will forget to do this step.

How to move to a different block with javascript?

I have a countdown timer setup for a question and I want to be able to move the participant to a different block with a warning informing them to respond faster before moving them back and restarting the question block and I just can't figure out the code for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Trouble receiving responses from 3rd party panel

I am having trouble connecting my survey to a third party company panel. They tell me they are receiving completes on their end but I am not seeing any responses come in on my side. Did I make an error? How can I troubleshoot this?

One clickable choise per column in a multplie choice likert question

Hey guys! Right now I have a likert multiple choice that has two columns and four options. I want users to be able to select the same option in both rows, but not be able to select more than one option per column; if they click on a second option in the same column, the first one should disappear like a regular multiple choice and the second should be selected. Is there a question type that does this or some code? Thanks!

Collapse/Expand all blocks

Good morning all! I have some longer surveys I inherited form a Brand Admin who's no longer with our organization. On one of her surveys, she has over 20 blocks and they're collapsed by default. This is only a problem when I want to Ctrl F to find a single question as the Find searched only the expanded blocks. Therefore, I go to the bottom of the page and click on each block title starting with the last one, but this also means I have to page up 3 times to complete this task and it's just an annoying 30 seconds. I checked Qualtrics Support and the Community for a solution, but didn't see one. Two questions stem from this: 1) Is there a way to expand/collapse all blocks in the Editor? & if not - 2) Does Qualtrics have a suggestion page on their website? I would love to give this as a feature suggestion to the Qualtrics devs (or upvote an existing suggestion) Thank you all for your time! Respectfully, Jeremy

Completing surveys - within the same survey can you have multiple people completing questions

Hi, I am creating one survey for two different teams to complete the questions. Some of the questions will be answered by the same team or person, but some of the questions may need to be answered by a different contact. Question: can multiple contacts complete certain questions within the same survey? Do I each send them a link? How does it work if this is possible? or does the same person have to complete the one survey in its entirety. I want to avoid sending two separate surveys out. thanks

Way to replace the word "Item" with another word (e.g. Vendor) for Pick Group Rank Question
