Hi everyone!I'm trying to find a way to share the Response Report though a workflow rather than the Response Summary.In the End of Survey blok in the Survey Flow, one can generate a Response Report and display it to the respondent.Is there a way to push the URL of the Response Report into an Embedded Data field which I could then use in a workflow?

In the Data & Analysis tab, you can export a single response to a PDF. Is there a way to export all responses to PDF instead of going through each one individually and saving and/or printing?

Hi Community,I’m configuring a dashboard that contains data from 9 regions.Each region has one user responsible for it, and I’ve shared the dashboard page with these 9 users, applying data restrictions so that each user can only see data for their assigned region (as shown in the screenshot below).Share dashboard to 9 user with data restrictionsWhen these users access the dashboard, I’d like: One widget display the CSAT of all 9 regions(e.g., “CSAT by Region”) While the other widgets remain restricted to each user’s assigned region (following their data restriction). I’ve already tried locking the filter for the “CSAT by Region” widget with Region = All,but this only works correctly from my admin view — where I can see all 9 regions.When I log in as a restricted user (for example, Region CTKV1), the same widget only shows that region’s data, instead of displaying all 9 regions.It seems that when I share the dashboard page and apply data restrictions, the entire dataset has been locke

Hiya,I’ve setup a vertical bar widget to show the breakdown of NPS over time.Currently its showing each week against promoter, passive, detractor.Is there a way to flip the axis so time is the X axis and for each week it shows the breakdowns? Current setup: 

Hi XM Community,My org is using ExternalReference as our sole identity resolution rule and we want to see if we can avoid triggering a contact creation when a record (whether in a workload, file upload, etc.) contains an ExternalReference value which does not already exist?i.e. if I upload a contact with ExternalReference 1234, and there is no match for it in the system, I want to discard the record, not add the contact. If I upload contact w/ Ext. Ref. 123 and it is found, I want to update that existing contact.We have a team that populates the directory via API, so we prefer to allow them to manage the contacts and want to minimize erroneous info and unverified contacts added from secondary systems. We utilize workloads, manual file uploads, and the Qualtrics File System to quickly populate lists (sometimes thousands of contacts, so hand choosing contacts is out of the question), so we’re looking for directory level settings or logic to satisfy this requirement.Anyone resolved a simi

Hi everyone,I’m hoping someone can help me with an issue I’m having.In my Survey flow, I’ve set up an embedded data field that’s determined by the URL.For example, ?source=Label or ?source=Social.  This part is working correctly, and the data is being captured as expected in the Data & Analysis section.However, I’ve also created a workflow to pipe all the data into a Google Sheet.The only field that isn’t being transferred is Source. For this field, I’m using the expression ${e://Field/Source}. Does anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening? Thanks :) 🤞

I need to CC an email address (different for each contact) when sending an email for survey distribution. I read about “Setting up a Send a Survey via Email Task”, but when trying on this solution I can’t get the CC email address field from the contacts list embedded data fields. Any ideas on this? 

Hi I would like to have a response rate table by relationship type.Same as the one that are possible with any metadata field, i tried with relationshipID since relationshipname is not an option, but the widget keeps breaking down.  Does anyone know a possible solution for this, or a way around? 

Hello, I am displaying images (at the top of the page) and then two related questions (just below the image). Questions are radio button choices and they are always the same regardless of images (there are 16 images altogether randomly presented). This part is working fine with Loop and Marge (with three fields, Field-1: image link from library, Field-2: image_type, Filed-3: image_name) I want to know: Which image was presented, type of image, answer choice selected for Q1, answer choice selected for Q2. I have created embedded data (16 images x 4) 64 fields (it’s a messy way) but having difficulties in saving the data:Image name (Filed 3, working fine, I can save it with embedded data) Image type (Filed 2, working fine, I can save it with embedded data) Which answer was selected for the image for Question-1 (Not working, I can’t save it with embedded data) Which answer was selected for the image for Question-2(Not working, I can’t save it with embedded data) I want the data (after exp

Hi, In order to save time and minimise possible mistakes, I'm looking to duplicate an existing survey I've created and tweak it quite a bit for a different group of people. (I know I could add a branch logic etc., but that would complicate things further).I just could not see anything in the support database on how to do this. Is it even possible? It appears Qualtrics has included it’s own Calendar Question Type. Yay!However, it looks like it also includes a time-interval formatting feature where people HAVE to pick a time. Currently there is not an option to exclude this.I contacted Support and they said maybe there is someone in the community that can recommend code to get rid of it.Would love some help. Thank you!

BLUF: Code to change background color of a single column in a Matrix Table----------Hello Qualtrics user community,          I’m desperate for an assist in getting some functional code that will allow changing color of a single column in a Matrix Table question.  In my particular case, it’s a 7-point Likert scale and we want to make option/column 8 (Not Applicable) a different color from the rest of the matrix, so that respondents don’t accidentally select N/A when they really Strongly Agree.  The goal is to get something that looks like this:          This topic has been addressed multiple times over the years on the Qualtrics forums, with multiple code/solutions offered.  But unfortunately, previously accepted solutions/code from certified Qualtrics wizards like ​@TomG and others aren’t working for me.  I’ve tried every solution offered across all the discussion threads, including Javascript within the question, Custom CSS applied to the whole survey, and strategically adding !import

If you activate Pseudonymization in EX, does each participant receive the same pseudonym in every survey? In other words, can we still do cross-project analysis, to have insights like “employees who give a negative rating on survey 1, also give in general a bad rating on survey 2” ?  And if you exempt certain surveys from the pseudonymization, then you probably cannot combine data from that survey with pseudonymized surveys?

Good day, I have a user who wants to have a survey that, when completed, will generate an Outlook calendar entry for the user taking the survey. I have seen some information on adding a Google calendar entry, but we specifically need it to be for Outlook.Is there a way to do this in Qualtrics without the need of a third party service?  I haven;t been able to find a solution. Thanks,JohnB

Hi everyone, I’m fielding a ton of matrix questions in an upcoming survey. In previous surveys, I’d been able to incorporate Javascript into Qualtrics’s new survey taking experiences to have matrix response options on the phone collapse after they were selected so respondents on phones weren’t endlessly scrolling through matrix questions. I’d had Javascript for this working for a survey I’d completed back in May 2025 but that script now no longer works. Does anyone have any guidance for how to get things working in. The code I am currently using is pasted below. Hi All,  (sorry title should have read ‘JS code to calc number of days between two dates but sometimes blank’)I am seeing some intermittent issues in calculating the difference between two dates using some JS code in a question that is shown at the beginning of my survey. Below is a pic of some example data showing the issue:  Both the Contact_DIR_Default_Prophet_Segment_Lastmodified and TodayDate embedded fields are being populated ok but sometimes the Days_Since_Prophet_Updated field is not being calculated. I’m aware that often if JS code fails for one reason or another it can return just a blank / null value and so I’m wondering if there is a way I can capture an error code if it fails to understand why.  Is that possible? I’ve manually tested the dates that didn’t work above (console window of my chrome browser) that didn’t show a figure and they work fine. Below is my setup in order of sequence: Survey flow: TodayDate is populated and Days_Since_Prophet_Update field created   Sur

Hi,There is an Idea, EV-1728, called “Workflow task to update survey response (e.g. fill an embedded data in a survey response)”.The idea is labeled as “Capability exists”.Does someone know which workflow task can do this? I am looking for such a feature.I would like to update some Embedded Data fields of a survey response immediately after it was submitted.I know I can use the ED box in the survey flow, but my incomplete responses and imported responses don’t go through that, that’s why I want to use a workflow instead. 

Hi,I have a side-by-side question, with in the first columns a 4-bullet-point question, and in the last column an open text field.I am using the New survey taking experience.I would like to make the open text field larger (both wider and higher). On desktop ànd on mobile.I also think to make it possible to make the text box larger, that also the wole survey width on the screen will need to be a it wider too.I have been looking to other topics on the community to css and javascript examples, but they don’t seem to be working on the side-by-side question and/or the new survey taking experience.Can anyone help me with the right code (either css or javascript) to make this possible?Thanks! 

Sometimes I notice in my surveys that when adding text entry fields for my multiple choice options (e.g. when asking respondents to specify what their “Other” selection means) my text field is being pre-populated with a 0 and I can’t figure out why. I know constant sum questions have 0s by default, but this is happening when I allow text entry for my multiple choice options. There are no default choices set to 0 (and why would I do that anyway?), and there is no setting changed in the validation rules to say this value must be numeric. The behaviour does not happen consistently, but has anyone else seen this and know of a way to stop it happening in the first place. As a work around I clear the values with JavaScript but sometimes that doesn’t seem to work exacrtly as needed if the text box is not present on page load and appears during user interactions.

Usually I'd expect a call to oauth/token?refresh_token=...&grant_type=refresh but it's not mentioned anywhere.
