Survey Platform

Hello everyone!I’m preparing a survey where respondents face something like supermarket aisles, and they can go into one of them, pick up some products, and go to a second or third one if they want. I prepared something and it works, but I got a problem in the survey logic. For instance, in the situation below, respondents go to the “animal-based products” aisle, pick up products, and when they choose to go to a different aisle, sometimes it send them to AISLES CS_31_1 (where they choose which aisle they want to visit) and other times it send them to the next block out of the branch. I am not sure what is the issue, I have checked that the survey flow is correct and I’m calling the right questions, but I cannot get the “loop” over the aisles (blocks) that I want.  Have someone done something like this? I’ll appreciate any advice that you could provide. Thank you in advance!

I monitor an email account to which I reply multiple times per week, sometime per day.  I would like to be able to add under my signature block:How was my reply?   ✴✴✴✴✴ The client would click on one of these stars and immediately be taken to a page where they see the stars they selected, and there is a “Tell us more” option.  Then simply a Submit button.  I’ve attached a pdf showing exactly what I am trying to replicate.  I received this from a cabinet company employee with whom I was communicating.  Instructions would be much appreciated!  I have read several threads on this, and still don’t understand what I need to do.  I have created my two question survey. TIA!Susan

Hi, can you clarify how the QRF file format can be used to replicate a report in another project? I am wondering if it can be imported into a new Qualtrics project to set up a similar report.

I took over survey ownership for a survey that is an ongoing survey (years). The logic has been updated over time so that some of the display logic is not met and therefore the questions are no longer being showed to the respondents. The survey has like twenty questions, but about 8 of those are “no longer active” due to display logic conditions. I would like to clean up the survey on the backend so that it is not so cumbersome to look at on the back end, but I want to make sure that those responses from those to be deleted questions remain intact. What are the implications to removing those questions that are no longer active? Will previous responses stay intact? My other question is what is best practice on this - just remove the question, keep it in the trash rather than emptying the trash and “fully” deleting?

Hi, I have a question on the automated reports in Qualtrics. Is there any way to include a filter across all widgets, items in the report, without having to select and apply a filter to each question?  Thanks!

I cannot access my library. I am working on a free account, and on a project that has been shared with me from a paid account. I have uploaded several graphics through the rich content editor, and can see them in the questions and also in the survey preview. However,  when I look in my library, none of these graphics appear. When i look at the location of the graphics in the rich content editor it says they are located in My Library: Aideen Watters. The owner of the account that shared the project with me also cannot see these graphics in their library. I also cannot access my library from within this project, the three lines that are normally visible at the top left corner do not appear.

Hello All!I need to group in this table, by region shop and cashier Can someone help me how to do it?thanks

Hello, is it possible to translate entered text in the advanced report such as descriptions or titles? When changing the text on the pages, the changed text appears in all language versions, only the language of the survey elements is changing (e.g. questions and answers). However, I want to have the full report in the selected language incl. Descriptions and titles, as it is possible in the dashboard.

Hi everyone,I feel like this must be possible, but I’ve yet to find a working solution. I need the following behavior, using an anonymous link:authenticate via Google OAuth SSO, capture email address:  if a respondent is taking the survey for the first time and their email address is not in the associated contact list: collect response trigger workflow after submission to add info to the associated contact list if a respondent is taking the survey again and the captured email address is found in the associated contact list: authenticator recognizes that they’re in the associated contact list end of survey element redirects to a retake link, using their previous response ID update info in the associated contact list The new user flow seems to be pretty straightforward, but I can’t seem to get the redirect → retake process to work properly for returning respondents.  Any help would be appreciated!

I have a quick question: We're building a large Qualtrics survey with around 7,000 questions. When I try to publish the survey, it loads for a while but then an error appears. Could you please help us resolve this issue?I appreciate your assistance.

Hi Qualtrics Community,so I would like to create question similar to this one but I want to make sure that the respondent will fill at least one of the option within each choice group. Is there any way to do that?I'm trying to do Javascript code but I don't know how to get the choice group id or something to refer the choice group toThank you!

Hello all, I would like to create a survey where the responses on particular slider questions are either not recorded or default back to the initial value once the survey is submitted. I am trying the following with JS but this still seems to capture the response.Any help much appreciated (--a JS newbie). Thanks.  Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() {    var sliderQuestionId = "Q1"; //    var originalValue = 0; //     this.getQuestionContainer().querySelector('.q-slider').addEventListener('input', function() {        if (this.value !== originalValue) {            this.value = originalValue;        }    });});

Hello everyone,I have two multiple-choice questions in my survey with the same answer options. Is it possible to transfer the participants' answers from Question 1 to Question 2? For example, if a person selects Answer A for Question 1 and then proceeds to Question 2, Answer A should already be automatically selected.Thank you in advance.

Hi!I need to report statistics from a intercept into a dashboard. Is there anyway i can do that?

Hi,Question - How can I adjust the width of a SINGLE question to 100% of the screen? (Multiple Choice - Multiple Answers) I see the CSS code/other posts, but that applies to EVERY question. I am trying to increase the inner and out skin to 100% for only a single question. Thanks!

I have looked online and in this forum and I can’t quite get the answer I need. I have a matrix question and I need to take the statements (choices) that receive the following answers in the matrix (we provide it as a premium feature, we provide it as a normal feature, we don’t provide it, but it is high priority) and place those options in a Force Ranking question so I can understand which of those options are most important.  I’ve tried piping answers, but can’t figure out how to indicate what I want or make them actual answers in the force rank list. I’m not so good with JS, but can reuse something if it’s explained to me. :)

Hi All, I have a online reputation dataset using the tripadvisor connector.  In the olden days this used to be an imported data table / project which you could add extra fields via the D&A section.  However that no longer seems possible.  My challenge is that I need to remove the time part from the created date field so that I can more easily group the dates together into custom period ranges in a dashboard dataset settings page. I’ve tried a merge task but the data table is not accessible.  In fact most workflow tasks don’t seem to be able to access it. Does anyone have some alternate solutions to this?  Can an API script be used to manipulate the created date (we don’t need time, just the date). Thanks Rod Pestell

Hey community,I am well aware that the following question has been asked many times already: How do I limited the total responses of my survey? The answer seems to be explained here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-tools/quotas/#LimitingTotalSurveyResponsesIn my case I need a sample of exactly 125. To test whether my quota definition works, I set it to 3 for now, following the instruction in the link. This is what I have:(Q215 is my very last question and the condition includes all its potential answers.)The quota target is 3. I completed the survey once, which is not even shown. Then using another device I started the survey again and after the first block (3 questions), which is still far away from Q215 (=last question), it showed: “Thank you for taking your valuable time to participate in this survey.Your response has been recorded.”What did I do wrong?

Hi there, Can we restrict survey links to be accessible within certain IP address range? i.e. the survey only loads when accessed from designated IP range.

Hello.  I created a formula field to calculate the mean of a set of responses.  I would like respondents to be able to see their mean after they have responded to the items.  How do I add the formula field to my survey so respondents can see it?  Thanks.

I have a side by side question with 2 columns that are drop down lists.  In one of my columns I’d like some items to be in Orange font and others to be in Blue.  How do I achieve this?

Hi everyone,Mohsen here, client experience analyst based in Wellington, New Zealand.I receive a pop-up message every time I want to move from the dashboard data page to any other settings page. The message says “Are you sure you want to proceed without saving your changes” and it says “discard changes?” at the top.I think this is unsettling because the user doubts whether they’ve made changes or not. Surely Qualtrics should identify if a user has actually made a change to settings and then show this pop-up message?I appreciate your thoughts.Thank you.Mohsen

Hi there, I am trying to implement a couple solutions to my survey using code within the “header” and “footer” text boxes in the “look and feel” section. When I input the code in there and hit apply and run through the preview within that section everything appears to be working perfectly (the changes were to remove the footer on select pages and to have a back/next button at the top of the page). However, once I leave the “look and feel” section to return back to the survey builder and I hit preview to see these changes, they are no longer working. I return back to the “look and feel” section only to find that the code is gone and hasn’t been saved or applied. I hit apply and save every time I make a change but it doesn’t seem to be working. What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you!! Jay

So I have 3 vignettes - Story A, B, and C, each with 3 possible arrangements - 1,2,3. So I want to first display a random Story from any one of the arrangements, say A2. Then I need to display arrangement 1 or 3, but not A1 or A3. Let's say it displays C1, then the final story to be displayed is of course B3. I don't need a situation where the same story is used for two different arrangements Like A1, C2,A3. How do I work out this two dimmensions of randomisation?  I have already used a randomiser to show one story from arrangements 1,2, and 3 each, but I’m not able to ensure that the stories are randomised and not repeated across these arrangements.
