Hi,I'm working on a longitudinal study where we want to send daily qualtrics surveys via SMS to participants. We anticipate that the responses we get will vary depending on time. As a result, we would like to capture people throughout the day and would like to send these surveys not at a set time every day but at different times day by day (ex; Monday at 9am, Tuesday at 5pm, Wednesday at 9pm etc...). Is this something that is doable on the base version of qualtrics or would it require either API or XM directory? Thanks!

I am building a survey project to collect feedback from new and recent hires about their integration into an organization. I have a list of contacts containing their names, emails and the dates they started work. This list will grow over time as new employees are added. The idea is to email the survey out at a series of defined intervals from their start date (e.g., 30 days, 90 days, 180 days, etc.). The survey flow includes logic so that different blocks are shown depending on the amount of time since they started working. I can include these specific dates for each contact as embedded fields in the contact data ahead of time. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for how to go about implementing this distribution strategy?

Hello,Currently I am able to fetch responses for survey_id as per the process mentioned here - https://api.qualtrics.com/ZG9jOjg3NzY3MA-getting-survey-responses-via-the-new-export-ap-isBut if I had to loop through and fetch survey responses associated with 10K surveys one (survey_id) after other, it takes multiple hours. Is there a better way to fetch responses for all surveys setup by admin user or org_id etc ? This way instead of fetching response for each survey, I can call API to fetch responses for all surveys at once ?Using POST exportresponse, fetch progress_id, get file in json format Let know if more details needed

Hi All,I'd like to setup an email validation process which sends an email to the respondents email account with a random code that they then enter in to verify their email address (and be sure that they've entered in the correct email address). Has anyone done this and have an example in how best to do the verification part? For our respondents this would be better than just doing a validation check.ThanksRod Pestell

I am creating a public survey which anyone can take.There will be input for Email Id & Questions. I would like to apply condition that a user can submit the survey only once per day(i.e., only one submission for every 24hours).Email id provided by the user to be used to identify & block the duplicate response.I cannot use prevent multiple submission because the user should be able to take the survey after 24hours of his previous submission.Any help would be appreciated.

I have a scenario where the public will submit a Qualtrics form (application to attend an event), the form creates a Qualtrics Ticket, and a user reviews the Ticket and approves/rejects the applications (radio button in the ticket).I need to be able to pass only the approved applications to an external SFTP server in XML format to be injected by another system. I know how to do all the steps above except write data from the ticket back to the survey to flag it as approved. Open to any suggestions, including a total process rewrite.Thank you in advance!

Hi all, I'm wondering if there is a way to download a PDF of an individual's responses that only includes the questions/sections that were shown to them?At the moment it includes all the other possible questions in grey, with 'This question was not shown to the respondent' after each one. It would be helpful to be able to produce a more concise version if possible!

Is there a way to monitor email address bounces in email tasks in Workflows? We have quite a few Email tasks but have to manually check the email addresses used in the email task every now and again to ensure the email addresses are still valid (i.e people leaving the organization)

Hello,I was wondering if it is possible to link a list from directory to build a dashboard. I know we can Add Source and link surveys. But can we link a contact list from directory also?

Hello all! I am using Qualtrics to create an application form, which would need to be signed by a third party before the applicant submits it. At the moment the applicant would have to send the link to the unfinished form to the other person and request them to sign, and the other person would then have to inform them when they have done this - which is slightly long-winded and relies on everyone remembering to email separately, getting the link right, etc.Is there any way to add a function within the form, which could enable applicants to send out an email directly to request a signature (with the link enclosed)? And maybe for the signee to then click something after signing to notify the applicant?I am new to Qualtrics so any suggestions gratefully received!! The only email options I can see relate to invitations for new responses, or post-submission.

Hi - We're interested in chaining data collected in one survey to format another survey.For example - in an initial survey we ask which rivers have been visited visited. We want to use that data to form the second survey so a responded in survey 1 would have x visited and y not visited rivers. We want to ask each respondent in the second survey one set of questions about visited rivers and another about not-visited rivers. Make sense? Learning the ropes here. Shayne

I'm trying to setup a survey and it collects a unique user ID as input from the user. Is there a way to validate this field to let the user continue only if that ID is new? ps; I tried the contacts route, but seems like the subscription I have through our institute does not support it. Thank you

So I'm using Qualtrics with MTurk (Amazon Mechanical Turk, the human annotation job board). My task is to get 1000 items of data annotated by 20 people. I've split the 1000 items into smaller bins to make survey creation easy. Please roast my workflow and suggest points where I could automate. I have created a reference Qualtrics Survey (RS1), (a) this has a loop and merge. I usually copy the data from a bin to this loop and merge. (b) I am using a quota system based on the screening questions. I make a copy of RS1, S1 copy and paste the data for a bin to the loop and merge. Make sure quota is reset, then publish. I copy the S1 distribution link, edit the project on MTurk end (replacing the S1 link) and publish. I have to repeat Step 2 and 3 for each bin. How can I improve this to automate things so I can run multiple batches easily?

Is this possible in the workflow?Is it possible that every response, gets an email trigger of an export per response?

Hi All,I've just setup a workflow using a ticket event (status change) with an email task on a survey. I'm testing the workflow using one ticket and just changing the status each time. However I found that an email would only be sent if after the first time of receiving the email, I change the subject text in the workflow (eg add one character). And then the next time, I'd have to change it again. This sounds bizarre!My normal work around for this is (eg. in automated survey email invites) I place a time stamp at the bottom of the email and I don't have to change the subject line, but in this case (for a ticket event email task) it seems that you have to change the subject line physically as not even placing a timestamp (eg. using: ${date://CurrentTime/MS}) works.What is more annoying is that there are no failures in the email task history so I'm always left wondering if it has worked or not.Can anyone advise on this as I need to keep the subject li

I am looking for some help with the messages/contacts features in Qualtrics and thought somebody in this group might be able to assist. We are hoping to have one survey (Survey A) be a sign up survey wherein we collect participants' contact information (email and phone number) and then to have another survey (Survey B) be sent to the email and phone number (text) that they provided in Survey A. I can see how to set up a contact list to import data from a survey BUT I can't seem to get it to properly import a phone number from the survey (yes, the number has a country code). In other words, if I fill out Survey A and then try to schedule a distribution of Survey B, the phone number field does not seem to show up as an option. TIA

Hi All,A strange one this... I'm not getting much feedback from either my IT support or Qualtrics at present so hoping someone here can help. Sometime between 25th and 26th August something has changed to my account or email address and I am no longer receiving survey email invites, distribution reports nor dashboard reports. Hi, I'm working with a faculty member who wants a weekly email with an Excel file of the new records every Monday at noon. So basically she doesn't want all records, just the new records between Monday and Monday. It seems like a simple task, but I'm struggling with setting up the workflow. I did a specific time workflow and I get a PDF file of just the student first names. I was thinking I might have to create a report and then setup an email trigger to do this? Hello. I know there are email triggers for sending confirmation emails to participants after completing their survey. Is there a way to send a confirmation email to an address inputted into the survey?For example, a site supervisor (respondent) fills out the form and the student at that site gets a copy of the form for their records. The respondent would enter the student's email into a box that the survey would then send the confirmation to.

We need to restrict incomplete responses to not sync in Salesforce. We are observing that the responses which were left in the middle is syncing in qualtrics with finshed(Survey Metadata) as False and upon in Salesforce. Could you please help us to do not sync incomplete/partially filled responses in Salesforce.

Hello, At the end of each of my blocks I have a summary page of the block's content. I would like to include a button at the bottom that participants can press to have the summary page emailed to them. Is this possible? I currently have a 'print page' button, but email would be better. This has to be available after each block, not at the end of the survey.Best,Ben
