Auto-advance loop and merge block after 10 minutes

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I just can't figure out. I am trying to auto-advance a loop and merge block where after 10 minutes of answering questions the user is automatically directed to the next block (without finishing the question they were on). I have found a lot of useful code in this community so far and seem to have the functionality of the timer working (I've set the timer at 60seconds at the moment for testing purposes). I have attached the code, the embedded data info from survey flow and the display logic from the questions. The issue that I need help with is that every time a new page is shown from the loop and merge block the timer duplicates and starts a new countdown - so for example by the fourth loop there are four timers displayed each with a different countdown time.Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I am very new to JavaScript so don't know it well enough to figure out what is wrong! Any help would be very much appreciated, tha

How to create embedded data field with java

Hi all,I have a segmentation typing tool (6 scalar questions) and have just included the necessary questions in my survey. I would like to create an embedded data field that automatically calculates which segment my respondents belong in based on their answer to these 6 questions. The segments are based on top 3 box (%8-10) scores. Google Chart Inconsistent

Now, the chart will appear for some blocks but not for others even though the code is exactly the same. Not sure what is going on... Selecting a random subset of responses from a different question

Hi, I am looking to take a random subset of responses given by a participant and pipe it into follow up questions. I am asking participant to come up with as many memories as possible in a 2 min span using a form field question with 60 response boxes. Then I would like to randomly select 8 of their responses to ask a set of questions about each. I am unsure how to pipe the responses to the questions randomly. Additionally, there is no guarantee that someone will respond with 60 memories, so I need a way to make sure the 8 responses are attached to a box they filled out. Do I need to use JavaScript or the randomizer? Thank you!

Australia post code allocation to statistical area

We ask respondents to enter their postcode in the survey (Column A) and would then like to classify them into the Greater Capital City Statistical Area (used by the Australian Bureau of Statistics) (Column D) to “Greater Sydney” or “Rest of New South Wales” depending on the postcode provided.We got the below postcode allocation list in Excel from Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). Update survey logo with a hyperlink/url back to website

I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to add a hyperlink to the logo within custom survey theme. The intent here is to make a survey feel more legitimate and integrated into our web experience.Our survey’s are emailed, so not looking to set up an intercept which we have separately to these programs. This enables users to click the logo on any survey page to take them back to our organisations main website. If possible I assume it requires custom CSS code, which I’d need to get help doing. Hopeful to check if feasible before engaging more on this.

Save text in entry value in java

I am using a matrix table with allow entry text function. For some questions I want to save the text. I found that I can use piped text of one of those question, for example using ${q://QID330/ChoiceTextEntryValue/3} I am trying to save the text in a variable in java. Display embedded data in result tab

Dear Forum, the current situation: I have some JavaScript code running, that embeds a Chatbot into the survey.This code also fetches the number of words the user has put in, as well as the number of words that the bot responded with and displays these numbers dynamically.As these are important variables for my analysis later on, I do not only need these numbers to be displayed during the survey, but I need these numbers to be added to the “answers” given to the question, to perform calculations and regressions afterwards. Good news is, I have created embedded variables in the survey flow, declaring these as numbers, and I am able to update these embedded variables via my JS code. I have also access to these numbers in the Data & Analysis tab, but not via the Results tab. The current problem:Is there a way, to get this embedded data into the results tab too, so I do not run the risk of having to match the numbers to the respective response by hand? Associate Piped Text Choice with Answers in Data Export?

Hi there, I’m trying to do something I felt would be simple and has lead me into a fun but time-consuming rabbit hole! I’m piping choices from a multi-select into questions asking respondents to categorize them from a predetermined list of categories. The JS below works as intended. My issue comes in with data analysis: we want to know out of those who chose each option, what category do they see it fitting in… Based on what I’ve done below, it's impossible to know what choice they picked from Q1 when looking at the data export for Q2-4; Q2-4 in the data export shows me the answer, but there’s nothing that indicates what text was piped in (unless you do it manually...). This survey will be over 200 responses. Is there a way to record the response from Q1 and associate it with the answer in Q2-4? Is there another (more efficient) way to approach this? Other information: we don’t need to know anything with ranking (1st choice vs 3rd choice). We’re having them select the 3 most appealing

Hi,I am a PhD candidate conducting a large scale anonymous survey with incentives. On the second day of its launch, we had over 80 fraud responses within a span of one hour. My current license does not include bot detection.I have implemented features such as “prevent multiple submissions” and I am trying to learn more about “honey pot” questions. Could someone explain to me how to create such questions? I've seen the codes for it (on Qualtrics community) but the code is still visible when I click preview and I thought they should be hidden? Hello, I need to create a survey with blue background and white fonts. I was able to do that for most questions, but for a slider, I could not change the color of labels. Can someone help please? Example below. I need to change “never” “sometimes”, etc. into white.

Options within Qualtrics Survey Software or Code to Display side-by-side images

I'm planning on conducting an experiment where participants compare two graphics against a reference graphic. To my knowledge, the current Qualtrics capabilities do not allow two images to be placed side-by-side. I tried putting them side-by-side in an photo editing software first, and then uploading them to Qualtrics. However, the images come out very small because of the required dimensions of the Qualtrics site. Does anyone have suggestions, or Java code that I can use to accomplish this? Hi Could someone give me some quick help with something pretty basic - I want to implement Select2 on a Qualtrics survey, so that respondents can multi-select from a drop-down, but I'm not quite sure how to set it up.
