We're trying to implement a solution where we intend to use ready-made APIs for generating direct reports. On performing a GET request, the API should return all the details that we find in the Qualtrics dashboard, as shown below. Can anyone help me on this ? !

Hi All, So this is my first post and I'm not sure I'm putting it in the right place, but here goes: I am working on a survey, and in the survey, I have inserted a date field with a calendar date picker via JavaScript from pikaday. This works perfectly (and is also translated to Ukrainian where it also works a treat). Hi, I have a drill down question that I would like to pull out part of the selected choices as embed data. My survey has participants select words from a list. These words get piped into a question where participants rank them. I want these ranked words to appear later in the study (via piping). On its own, Qualtrics cannot pipe new ranked words that have been previously piped into a ranking question. Is there Javascript that will allow me to do that? Thank you in advance!

Hi all, I would like to be able to change a slider questions values. I need to update the slider values so that the scale displays the new values, and the answer submitted is among the new values. I saw a post about changing the scale values, but I'm unsure how to take it a step further and change the actual values. I see the values appearing in QID2~1~true-result, QID2~2~true-result, QID2~3~true-result, and QID2~4~true-result for each scrollbar as I scroll, but not sure how to set them. I need the possible values to be: {0,1,5,10,15,20+}. Here is what my question looks like currently: <center>! </center>

I am running into a problem where I cannot figure out how to switch my text box answer and text. My question on the survey is a form text box. My choice currently reads: Times in the past 30 days [______] but I want it to look like: [_______] Times in the past 30 days.

I have a column answer defaulted to "Not Interested". However if the respondent selects any of the other multiple column answers, "Not Interested" should not remain selected (should be exclusive). Is there any way to get this functionality? Thanks !

I have an array of 10 images I want to display on a Qualtrics question. Howevr, I like them be presented on a random order (i.e. shuffled for each survey taker). How can I do that? Is there a way to change the html code or something similar to that? I would appreciate your help

I have a set of product cards that I want respondents to choose between. These should be displayed horizontally in order to mimic a true purchase decision. When importing product cards they are however very small when displayed on desktop. Qualtrics support can't help with this and directs to custom coding instead. I want to avoid a code across the entire template, and rather want to custom code just this question. My current solution is to use "jQuery(".Skin .SkinInner").css({"min-width": "90%"});" to have a scaling that does not screw up the mobile view. Does anyone have a better option, or does anyone have any callouts regarding this solution since I have not seen it suggested anywhere else on this forum?

Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to add a response to a survey through the API? Looking through the documentation, I can see how to update or delete an existing response, but I'm not seeing a method for adding a new one. Thanks!

Hi all! I am looking for a way to play the audio file as soon as the slide is loaded (without requiring individuals to click on play). But, I do not want the slide to advance automatically. I just need the audio to play automatically. I found answers to similar questions from June, November, and September and none of them are working for me. Is it possible the javascript for playing audio automatically on load is not working anymore? I'm using the Google Chrome web browser. Any help is appreciated! Thank you in advance!!

Hello, I created a custom end of survey message however when I preview it on mobile it is not responsive and goes off the edge of the screen. The rest of my survey is fine. Is there a way to make this message responsive? Thanks!

Hi there, I am in desperate need of help. I'm trying to create hover over text for a set of survey responses. I've used the "span title" code - when I preview the survey and hover over on the mobile side, it does show the hover text. But it is not showing it on the computer preview side? They also do show up in the survey editor. Please help me! Thanks in advance, Jackie

I was trying to download the survey data by API method using python. I just followed the instructions from https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Discussions/Python-Tool-Downloading-Qualtrics-Survey-Data-using-Python-API/td-p/304898 I successfully downloaded the unzipped csv file. when I see the data in the csv file and found that the data in the columns got truncated and appeneded with   as below. Hi, I want to give the user an option to exit the survey at any time by clicking on an exit button. I have read several threads on this, but am yet to find one that works for me. Preferably I would like one that does not have to be repeated constantly in my survey flow, but is written once, and will then be on all blocks. In addition, I would like to save the survey data from the first block, but not from the remaining blocks, if the survey is cancelled before completion. This is less important... Hi all, I'm trying to do the following two things, and wondered if any one could help me. 1. I currently has a popup being open on the Qualtrics.When participants close the popup, I want one of the graphics inserted to one of the multiple choice option to change. Is that possible? 2. After certain seconds, can I have one of the multiple choice graphic change to the other image? Thank you!

I have a ranking question that pulls in options to rank based on what answers respondents have selected throughout 5 prior questions. If they only select one option throughout all 5 questions, they need to skip over the ranking question. If they select 2 or more options then the ranking question should show up. Is there a way to use math operations (to add up the number of selected options) and embedded data in the survey flow that can then be used in a display logic for the ranking question?

Our new dynamic themes use an ugly grey color on matrix questions and some other question types. Can anyone share the CSS for setting the text color throughout the survey. Text color is no longer appearing as an option for me in the Advanced Look and Feel editor. Thanks!

Hello! I am new to computer programming and hoping to figure out how to add some Javascript to the survey I'm running for my lab. Clearly I'm out of my depth, but my hope is that getting this code to work with our survey might be a fixable problem. I think this bot-detection functionality may be available on Qualtrics, but our school account doesn't seem to have access to this user-friendly version of the feature. I am using a single slider for a 5-star rating question and don't want the question to be next to the slider. If I delete the text it deletes the stars. Any thoughts on how to remove it? Even better, any way to increase the size of the stars and adjust for mobile? !

I am attempting to record the time of when an individual submits a page (clicks the next button). I know how to do the timing to get how long the participant spent on the page, but I cannot figure out how the get the stamp of the date/time. I think it needs to be done via javascript.

Hi, I would like to change the checkboxes in multiple answer questions to show red "X"s instead of black "check"s which is the default. How should I go about doing it? I would prefer to use images for the red "X"s, so that I can change it to other images (e.g. smiley faces) next time, if needed. Thanks!

Hi, I embedded a few youtube videos into my survey, and while they're visible when making the survey, they do not appear (at all) in preview or published mode. I made sure that the videos are set to public and that embedding is allowed (in youtube). I also have a paid plan. Any tips?
