Help!! How to test SMS distributions within 24 hour limit

I'm obviously missing something. I've figured out there is a 24 hour block on sending SMS message but how do you test distributions more than once in a 24 hour period? Can someone explain what I have to do to test sending an SMS distribution. It seems no matter what I do, new survey, new contact list, new contact, new message, if a number has been used once it will not send again.

Best practice for managing surveys

Dear all,the usecase that I have seems to be quite unusual as I was not able to find anything on the web:My task is to create and administrate a number of different surveys per event.Each of my events has 3 different roles of people involved (Visitors (1-20), Sales (1), Marketing (1))For each role there is 1 particular, specific survey-type with a dedicated set of questions.The current approach is NOT to collect survey responses over a longer period of time, but evaluate the surveys per event. In other words, there are is a small number of survey-responses from three different survey types per event.Due to that my idea is to have 1 object per event in Qualtics (created via API) that allows me to list different contacts assigned to different survey typese.g.Event: Customer visit at ASM SMT Center of Competence, 04/19/2021 'John Doe', john.doe@somecompany.com, SurveyType: Visitor 'Dina Dee', dina.dee@anothercomp.com, SurveyType: Visitor 'Steven Strong', steven.stron

Track link in a survey to an external page and encode with 1/0

Dear community, I want to include a link to an external page in my survey (this should open in a new tab). I want to track the respondents who clicked on the link. All participants who clicked on the link should be coded with a 1. All participants who did not click on the link should be coded with a 0. In the survey flow, I have included an embedded data at the appropriate question:In addition, I have already tried the following code in JavaScript, but unfortunately it does not work. Does anyone have any further suggestions for me on how I can solve the problem?Many thanks in advance!

How to create and build own web service that utilizes Qualtrics API's ?

Hello All,If we need to create and build our own web service that utilizes Qualtrics API's. What is the suggested approach to create own REST API web service call? Can we create using the Qualtrics developer portal? Is this the main purpose of this portal? Ideally I am not clear on what are the first steps that needs to be done on how to create our own web service by which we can utilize the Qualtrics APIs. Is it via any developer portal that qualtrics provides or is it in qualtrics sandbox - Is there any way to do so or SDK or any other way?Could you please give me directions and guide me here. How to upload a list of contacts using Qualtrics create contact API?

Hello All,I am trying to trigger a JSON event with the JSON payload as below - { "contacts": [{  "lastName": "L1",  "extRef": "'20'",  "email": "a@test.com",  "firstName": "A1",  "phone":"'9876543210'" }, {  "lastName": "L2",  "extRef": "'21'",  "email": "a2@test.com",  "firstName": "A2",  "phone":"'9876543200'" }]}Post this I am calling the Qualtrics Contact API webservice task to create contact but it fails as instead of sending one set of contact data, I am currently sending list of contact data.Is there any way to upload a list of contacts and create contacts in Qualtrics? Has anyone tried to upload similarly?Any help on how I can achieve this? Thanks!

Is the responseexports api call still supported?

Hello, we're maintaining an old Qualtrics integration. We're noticing strange behavior this week with one of the API calls: responseexports . 1) I can't find any recent documentation on this route. Was it renamed to export-responses? [1]2) Did the startDate and endDate functionality change recently? Feedback Button not appearing on mobile devices. Website is a single page application

Hi Guys,I'm having an issue to get a feedback button survey to work on mobile devices. So far it's just not appearing for me. The website I need this to work on is a single page application, so we are using the manual API method. It work's fine on desktop but not on mobile.Does anyone have any idea's on what I'm doing wrong?

Is there a way to automatically send a bounced survey request via email to a specific person

When a survey does not complete due to a bad email address, we would like to send a email back to a manager to review and get the address corrected. Has anyone gotten this to be done automatically?

Survey not imported to Qualtrics but process was 100%

I created a survey template, could encode survey response from Qualtrics and import survey data from local csv file as survey responses . Therefore, the survey is active and functional. However, when I tried to use Qualtrics API, https://iad1.qualtrics.com/API/v3/surveys/{0}/import-responses'.format(surveyId), to upload (import) a local survey csv file to Qualtrics, the API calls showed 100% completion of the process and no error, but Qualtrics shows only the same numbers of the records in the csv file being imported, and the contents of the survey records were empty. I have tested the process for several times, all the survey responses imported have no contents, but increases empty rows.Is there a problem in the import API? I am wondering the API may not import the survey response contents, but just construct empty response templates?

Create a Distribution Link for a single Contact in a Contact List

I'm attempting to create a distribution link for a single contact in a contact list. It appears that the Distribution API doesn't support this directly (unless I'm reading it wrong). I tried the advice given at this link, but that too doesn't appear to work (might be outdated).Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Questions about linking some of the data sets extracted from the Qualtrics API

Hello, Has anyone here tried to ingest Qualtrics data via the APIs into a relational database? I am currently working on creating a process to model and store data for Surveys and Survey Responses and trying to figure out about storing data related to Questions (v3/survey-definitions/{SurveyID}/questions) etc., so I can tie it back to the Responses data table that has Question IDs. Hoping to hear experiences of the community.

Does survey response data in the Data/Analysis page have a corresponding datasetid?

I'd like to use the DataSet API (https://api.qualtrics.com/guides/reference/datasets.json) to work with survey response data. I know creating a new DataSet using the API will return a datasetid, and I could populate the dataset with the survey response data using the Retrieve Survey Response API, but if this is avoidable, that would be preferred.

Load SSO page when setting up OAuth authentication

Hi,I was wondering if it is possible to give a user the SSO page when setting up the OAuth authentication. I followed this very clear guide (thank you Qualtrics!): https://api.qualtrics.com/api-reference/docs/Instructions/oauth-authentication-authorization-code.mdand managed to set it up which nicely results in the following screen: When you click on 'Sign in with SSO' users will get asked their organization ID before logging in with their SSO. Is there a way for me to do these steps for them? So redirect them immediately to the SSO page of the uni, because I know the organization ID but not all teachers know the organization ID resulting in a lot of questions. Thank you!

Hey there,I'm wondering whether it is possible to get a respondent's score returned as an average rather than just the total in the GetResponse or if there is a way to also include how many questions in the survey are scored according to that ScoreId in either the get response, get survey or get survey-definition endpoints.Thanks - Jed

Is it possible to use embedded data with an e-mail link?

I have an e-mail, and within it, I'd like to create a forward to link with a subject line that contains a piece of embedded data available in the e-mail itself. Using the typical ~{aed://embedded_data} syntax isn't working.Thanks!

Salesforce flow > Survey link in Qualtrics Task Email

Hello all. Forgive me if I'm rambling here. The idea is to have a Salesforce Flow trigger an Action Email on a Survey in Qualtrics and that the email that goes out contains the link to take the survey it's sent from. But I can't get the survey code to work (Yes, that's correct. I'm not a developer).I've used "${l://SurveyLink?d=Take the Survey}" That I've taken from somewhere else. But just using this will not carry over the embedded data I've specified to come from Salesforce over into the actual response once it comes back to Qualtrics, will it? I've also tried to set it up as a "XM Directory" task and distribute the survey that way, but I can't seem to get that to work neither. Would that be the better option to investigate further? Because here I can see that I can choose the embedded data. I just thought since I've already specified which ones I want in the WorkFlow Rule it feels redundant. Thanks in advance-Mattias

Regarding the Event subscription failure

Hello, In our current system, we are using the Qualtrics event subscription API to trigger our custom logic. So while the event subscription creation, we get the success response as mentioned below: Reference_1And according to this success response, Qualtrics has started to call our domain when the new response we get as mentioned in the below request event: Reference_2But for the last four days, It has stopped working. According to event subscriptions retrieval API, it is showing the "subscription id not found" (Reference_3). According to Qualtrics API documentation, we can't delete the event subscription from the Survey. So how our event subscription got deleted? How to give the 'Choice Text' a different 'Piped Text'

In my survey, Q1 asks about the origin of my participants. One answer option is "Afghanistan". When someone answers "Afghanistan", one answer option in Q2 has to be: "Afghan men/women". So in Q2 I don't need the country name, but the derivatives of the answer they selected in Q1. I used several formulas (like: AfghanistanAfghaanse) --> and then put: jQuery(".pipedText").hide(); in the JS, but this doesn't work..Can anyone help me out?

How can I debug Passing Information via Query Strings?

I have a few fields I've captured from a JSON event trigger. These fields populate an e-mail, in addition to being passed to the survey using the Query String structure. One value isn't showing up, and there's nothing unique about it. It's just another string. It's defined as Embedded data in the survey flow, and I can confirm the value is captured and is correct in the JSON data. I can also see that the survey link contains the key/value in the URL, so it would be available to use within the survey. I've tried adding the ?format=urlencode and setting the embedded data type explicitly to 'text' and even 'text set', but nothing changed. The only debug information I have is that the when using the ?format=urlencode, the text shows up as "null'.Is there a limit to the number of embedded elements you can pass or access?
