Passing NPS score through with Embedded data

Hello and good afternoon from a sunny Sweden!Is there a way to pass the NPS score selected through as embedded data in the response? I have tried setting it up like below, but it comes back blank. Thanks in advance-Mattias

Custom Location authentication error message

Hi Guys,  i am trying to create a custom authentication error message. I was able to do that. Just wanted to check if there is a way yo move it to the bottom of the page, may be just below the bottow of the authenticator field

Can not combine a group of answers under one question into a single graph.

Standard survey with questions regarding social media use. We are trying to determine how many hours per day a participant spends on different social media platforms. Rather than grouping the results into a single graph with the x axis being hours spent and the y axis being social media platform, it has become 6 different graphs for each social media platform, with the y axis becoming the medium for which the respondent used to answer the survey (see picture). We can't figure out what is going one, any solutions?

Settings in survey do not save/display correctly

So I am the Qualtrics survey administrator foe my company, and lately I have seen some instances where I create a survey from scratch, get it all built out and get the logic flows in place where we need them, test it out on my end...and it all works as I built it.   And they take a while to build as some of our surveys have upwards of 200+ lines of questions because the survey is built to capture a verbatim response to virtually every single response type there is to a question, thus creating hundreds of logic flow pathways.  But I get it working as designed when I test...But when others go to test it...some questions they DON’T get the desires responses or settings.  Some questions that are marked “required” don’t force a reply, some questions marked “allow multiple” only take a single answer, and many more instances.This is giving my managers and higher ups the impression that I’m not testing things out on my end when in fact I am spending hours or days testing!    Has anyone else ex

Change questions in a randomized survey

Hello!I am trying to create a survey that will give participants one of 5 questions randomly. That was the easy part.What I can’t figure out is how to let them change the question if they have already answered the one presented, so that they get a different question.Any ideas?Thanks in advance for your help!

Stats iQ - Linear regression variable trasnformation

Hello, I have a question related to the transformation of variables in linear regression within Stat iq.When we try to trasnform the variables to fit the model and improve the R2, and we apply the transformation x4 or x3 x2, I mean an exponential transformation.Qualtrics shows usI  want to know, why it happens, and how can I include the powers that Qualtrics mentioned.  Thank you in advance.

Matrix questions in the new results tab

Is anyone else having difficulty creating a matrix tables showing % and counts in the new results tab? I want to be able to show % based on the number of responses not total responses (like I could in the old version) and I can’t seem to be able to do this in the new format?  In my survey not all respondents answer all the questions in a matrix so I need to be able to quickly look at % based on number of responses.

Sending out Emails in intervals

Question: For a global study, we’d like to send out around personalized 250’000 Emails. We’d like to distribute the emails over several weeks. We have a plan for our email distribution and would like to send out roughly 16’000 Emails per day. We created subsamples that contain around 16’000 participants and we know how to schedule the email distribution for each subsample.Say: Sample 1 gets an invitation on day 1, sample 2 gets an invitation on day 2 etc. Here’s the problem: Instead of sending out 16’000 Emails at once on a given day we would like to send them out in 30 Minute intervals. So Send out the first 1000 Emails of Sample 1 at 10:00, then send out the next 2000 Emails of Sample 1 at 10:30 etc. I know that it’s possible to create more Subsamples and schedule each distribution seperately. However, does Qualtrics allow a Subsample to be distributed in intervals? So that Sample 1 (16’000 Emails) gets sent out in 30 minute intervals without us having to individually schedule each i

Custom end of survey message not displaying

Hello everyone,I realize this question is posted here a lot, but despite reading other posts I can't get my custom end of survey message to display.The survey setup is very simple. I have no branch logic and only a small amount of skip logic. The end of survey message should be the same for all participants. I have entered my custom message into the End of Survey block, but when running through the preview survey, I only ever see the default text. I’ve had other people go through my preview as well and they also only see the default text. I have double-checked that the preview is displaying the latest draft and not the latest published version.Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or if I have missed something obvious? Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance!

Separate End Messages

Hi guys,Urgently require assistance. I’ve looked at almost every post relating to this question but nothing seems to be working for me.I have a main survey. Only by answering YES to the 3rd questions can you proceed with the survey (think of it as a selection criteria question). If you answer NO, I want to the survey to end (“you have not met the selection criteria”).  IF Do you currently study psychology? No Is selected        → End of SurveyI’ve tried everything, I’ve used the skip logic, I’ve gone into survey flow and added a then if branch (from which I’ve added a end survey branch and used the customise button to override the default end message - tried the custom end, I’ve also tried creating a new survey so that I can redirect using URL to the other end message). NOTHING. Is. Working. I keep getting directed to my main end message.  Please help me. x.x

Graphic Slider question greyed out.

I can’t add a graphic slider question to my survey because when I go to add a new question, the graphic slider (and several others) are greyed out. I can’t find any documentation as to why this might be.

changing default blank field to display value

Hello does anyone know if there is an option to replace ‘blank’ field with a value for example ‘no response’ if respondent chooses not to answer the questions and moves along (non forced questions)

A report of comparing results

Hello, I tried to find an answer to my problem on the internet but with no success.I want to build a results report for my subjects in qualtrics that calculates and displays their own answers compared to the total results of the subjects that already answered my questionnaire. I found that in qulatrics I can only built a report that display the overall answer with out the comparisons. Is there a way I can do that in standard account or maybe a easier way to save the answers on excel so I can do the analysis there?

Problem exporting responses to SPSS

Hi everyone,For my internship I made a survey, now I want to convert those responses into SPSS but it does not seem to work. I can export it to excel but not to spss, the preview doesn’t seem right and it also lags when I want to go from step 4 to 5 (see screenshot). I can’t click on anything in the first screenshot.

Sending a survey with multiple work items to a single customer based on embedded data

Hello!I am looking to build a survey that goes out weekly to customers who submit work items for repair. I am using the Directory Automations to collect the information from a query that is updated daily with new work items or completed work items. What I am looking for is a way to send a single weekly survey with a yes/no question if they are satisfied with the completed repair from that week. Survey Platform Consistently Fails with 500 Internal Sever Error HTTP Response

*** Qualtrics engineers have been unable to give us a definitive actionable explanation for why the survey is failing. ***NB: We have tested the survey after removing all JavaScript - the error arises in both cases.For more than 3 months our survey has been consistently failing at various points in the survey. Survey questions are not being presented to participants after small edit "this question was not displayed to the respondent"

Hi everyone,I am currently experiencing issues with the responses to my survey. I made a slight edit to my survey, merely adding a page break, then re-published the survey. Now in the “Data & Analysis” section it says that the respondants are not being shown the rest of the questions following where the page break was put. It just gives the prompt “this question was not displayed to the respondent”. I tried taking the survey myself using the survey link and everything seems in order, I am displayed everything and it shows in the “Data & Analysis” section afterwards. The survey contains no randomization or anything of that sort, only blocks containing the different questions. The issue as mentioned occured after the edit, and prior to that all respondents have answered the full survey without fail. Hope you can help!

Moving from laborious data analysis to automated solutions

We've been using Qualtrics for just over 3 years (4-year college). I'd like to move to a more automated solution of producing results. Currently, I create .pdf reports and download comments to Excel, we don't have Dashboards.I do the Data Analysis, and I typically produce a .pdf document after building a custom report, this is pretty straightforward. I might then create a 2nd report to breakout the data by race or gender ... with these additional breakouts it obviously adds to the elbow grease needed to provide the results.If there are comments, I download to a spreadsheet and format it nicely, along with demographics of the respondent. Not too difficult, but it also adds to the amount of effort.For a relatively simple solution, it's easy 2-3 days to produce.Is there any way we can automate this? All the data is right there ... I suppose we could create dashboards, but is this the only way? Is dashboards also a custom effort for each survey?I'm also concerned about what the User Exper

Pictures for each attribute in discrete choice experiment

Hi everybody,I would like to include pictures for each attribute shown in my DCE. Is there anyway that I can add pictures to attributes?What I did is that I first used Conjoint survey (as choice tasks created) and then include such survey to the main survey. However, I cant find a function in Conjoint survey that I can include pictures to attribute. It only allows me to include pictures in attribute LEVEL. Please see below image attached.Many thanks!

Data Comparisons?

I have 3 different matrix tables that are identical in scoring and parameters, but are each evaluating a different product. I would like to create a results widget that compares the results of the 3 matrix tables in one chart. How do I compare the data from multiple questions into one chart, as a side-by-side comparison separating by each product?For example, users are evaluating 3 different LMS platforms and I would like to show the side-by-side comparison of how each LMS is rated on the matrix likert scale for each parameter (design, usability, course creation, etc).

Embedded data and Branch If codes

Hello guys. Thank you for the previous help on the survey. So we tested our survey with a couple of random people using the anonymous link. We noticed that the embedded data and the branch if codes did not work well with the link. For example, a person that is 6’9” tall with a weight of about 120pounds is expected to have a BMI less than 30kg/m2, and then get screened out of the survey. However, we noticed that the BMI calculation does not show up in the dataset and then these set of respondents were able to complete the survey, which shouldn’t have been. Meanwhile, when we previewed the survey with the same conditions, everything worked perfectly. We were absolutely kicked out of the survey and the whole calculation for BMI showed up in the dataset. This is weird.What do you think could be the problem with the embedded data and branch if codes using anonymous link?Thanks.

Add ability to choose which columns are exported as numeric values or choice text

This is related to  I’d like a way to export responses with certain columns being numeric values and certain columns being choice text. Currently, the only way I know how to do this is to export the data as both numeric values only and choice text only, then manually splicing together the columns I want.
