Piped Text - Combined Fields

Hi EveryoneHNY!I have successfully combined form responses via Field Editor.For example.This then gives me this in the data table.I then want to pipe ‘Artist_Bucket’ into a follow up email, but I can’t seem to work out what the piped text code should be. For example, when using ${e://Field/Artist_Bucket}, it does not pull anything into the follow up email.Hope you can help.Thanks :)

Mobile survey preview showing different information

Dear all,I have created a short JavaScript code that randomises some parts of the text shown to my respondents in a specific question. The randomization works fine but I am just struggling to understand why the mobile survey preview shows different information compared to the computer survey preview for the same question during a test. I always thought that the mobile version is supposed to present the exact same information/text as the computer version but just in a different format/view. I am attaching a screenshot to help visualise the issue. What am I missing? Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

How to include HTML for answer options in Qualtrics?

Hi Everyone,I am writing a math test question and I was able to get the Katex work for the body of the question in writing equations like x^5. I now want to do the same for the answer options but couldn’t figure out how to enter html code for the answer options. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Two individualized questionnaire links in One email

Hi everyone! I’m currently working on an emailing for our first questionnaire (we will call it “Questionnaire 1”).As it’s very important to our company, we would like to free ourselves of the standard Qualtrics unsubscribing link (to avoid the displaying of the Qualtrics logo to our final clients). In this purpose :I “hid” the standard Qualtrics unsubscription link in the email, so that it is no longer visible to customersI created a specific Unsubscribtion questionnaire (with the brand of our company, that we will call Questionnaire 2) + associated a workflow that automatically opt-out the clients from my Contact list that confirm the unsubscribtion in this  questionnaire.I added the link of my “Questionnaire 1” with the following tag :${l://SurveyLink?d=Take the Survey}I wanted to add the “Questionnaire 2” in the same invitation email but I don’t know how to insert the individualized link of my questionnaire in my email.Do you have any solution to this problem? Many thanks in advance

JS for Automatically Showing Data based on selections in Drill Down Question Group answers

Hi All,I’m not a coder so am having some difficulty getting the following code to work. I’ve commented the code to try to identify what I’m trying to accomplish. A quick description is as follows: This is a drilldown question type.The first two options are user and user email. When the user selects their name I want Qualtrics to automatically display the email associated with their name.The third option is a selection of timeslots. When the user selects the displayed Date/Time, I want the fourth and fifth options to display the data automatically. Javascript for Disabled (Read Only) Drilldown field stopped working

Howdy!I have been using the same code for several years on a drilldown question to make the first dropdown field read-only based on a previous question selection but it has recently stopped working.So, for example, someone selects Art History on a previous dropdown question:Then the drilldown later in the survey populates that value into the first field:The population of the Department field has continued to work fine, however the following code has stopped working to disable the field so it cannot be changed:(it can loop up to 3 times, which is why there is the loop code included):Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnReady(function(){    jQuery("#QR\\~1\\_QID14\\~1").attr("disabled", true);    jQuery("#QR\\~2\\_QID14\\~1").attr("disabled", true);    jQuery("#QR\\~3\\_QID14\\~1").attr("disabled", true);    });    This code no longer makes the first drilldown field disabled/read-only. When I look at surveys from 2022 it still works there--same code, nothing has changed with the survey structure.

Automating A Survey Distribution - 60 to 90 days from initial response.

I have a bit of an unusual use case and I am looking for ideas to help either automating a survey distribution or making it more manageable if there is no automated option.  The folks I am working with have some instructional materials posted on a website that they would like feedback on immediately after folks have viewed them, one month after they have viewed them, and 3 months after they have viewed them.   We are collecting immediate-post feedback via an anonymous link posted at the end of the materials.  We are collecting one-month post feedback by using a workflow triggered by completing the immediate-post survey that distributes the one-month post survey to an email address provided in the immediate-post survey. Those emails are also added to a contact list.  For the three-month post survey, I’d like to be able to use the distribution via a workflow method used for the one-month survey, but the timing on that is limited to 30 days from completion of the survey that triggers the

Redirect to a new website

At the end of the survey, I want to my survey to redirect my user to a new website but I want that site to open in a new tab. Ideally, I would do this through the redirect in an end of survey block, but if there is a way to do it in an end of survey message, that would work too.However, if I use the end of survey message, I want the link to automatically redirect them after a few seconds; I don’t want the user to have to click the link.  Thoughts?

Adding a 'DK/DA' option into a 0-10 scaled question

Hi Qualtrics team.I want to make a nice looking question on a horizontal 0-10-scale + a ‘I don't use it’ category.If I include this ‘I don’t use it’ option at the end it does not look very well as the text is long. Would it be possible to include these ‘I dont’ use it option’ at the bottom of the question? Thanks for your help!

Combine data from two (same) questions in single survey

I have two identical questions in the same survey (Likelihood to Recommend on a 5 point scale). This was part of an A/B test where each question was in it’s own block and randomized.  Now I am trying to pull the combined Likelihood to Recommend into a CX Dashboard and I want to combine the two questions. (side note, there are about a dozen other surveys I’m tying in that ask the same questions and I’m trying to pull them ALL together for a holistic LTR).  When I’m in the dasboard, I see how I can pull in all the sources (surveys) but I can’t figure out how to combine the two LTR questions from the single source. I went back into the survey thinking I could Edit/Create a New Field, but I’m not having any luck there.  I was able to create a new variable in the Cross Tabs, but that variable doesn’t carry over to the dashbaords. :( Appreciate any advice!

How can a participant enter clock times without typing in text boxes?

Hello! I have searched and uncovered some information that I can't make work (Flatpickr?).The situation is that I need to ask employees about start and end time availability outside of regular shift hours. So they need to be able to say, "I'm available from x time to y time" for each weekday as needed. I have constructed this with text entry boxes - doable but annoying. I've tried a drill down (didn't work out) and played with sliders but the times have to be specific (15 minute increments).I am going to need a step by step guide if we are involving JS. I've found the Flatpickr information but the steps presented don't work. Anything I put in 'Source' view ends up text in a question box. I don't know JS well enough to figure things out when they break significantly.I am hoping to put in two dropdowns, one for start time, one for end time but I can't figure out how to make that happen in one question.Thanks for your ideas!

For a recent survey I created unique links for each respondent to use in order to access the survey. I want to see the link used by each respondent so I can tie it to data that I already have. Any way to do this?

Need multiple text boxes to show up on the same line as the answer choice

I am asking a question where every line needs to have a textbox. I have the code to make a textbox show up next to the choice text instead of below it, but that only works for one question. Does anyone know how to make this work when you have multiple textboxes? This is how I want it to look: ! This is how it is coming out: ! Hidden/disabled Next button

I am running into an odd issue. I am using JavaScript to hide the Next button until someone interacts with the question and the validation check is met. This is being used on constant sum questions. The script works fine (see script below), however, if there are two or more constant sum questions in sequence, although with a page break between each question, the script won’t automatically disable the Next button for all subsequent questions. Interestingly, the button will become disabled when someone interacts with the subsequent questions but the issue is that if someone does not interact with the question at all and chooses to hit the Next button, they will be able to skip that question.I was trying to figure out what the issues was, and to make things weirder (and clearer at the same time), the issue persists only if the questions with the JavaScript I described are in consecutive pages. Syncing an unsubscribe back to Salesforce?

Hello and good afternoon from a snowy Sweden!Does anybody know how I can set up an automatic feature where a user who clicks unsubscribe in a Qualtrics email, is not only added to the Unsubscribe list in Qualtrics, but that event is also synced back to the contact in Salesforce? I have found this thread, but I honestly don’t understand the intended setup set as “Best answer”. It’s 6 years old so perhaps there is a new and better way of accomplishing this?  Thanks in advance and have a great rest of 2023!-Mattias

Date AND Time Validation

Hello, I need to add a validation to my survey and saw there are ‘Date format’ options under ‘Content type’; however, I’m looking to add date AND time validations to my question.  I’m assuming this is possible by creating a Custom Validation. Changing Error Message for "Request response"

I've developed a survey available in four languages. Utilizing code obtained from a discussion thread, I've successfully customized the error message for the 'request response' based on each participant's preferred language for completing the survey. However, the response options accompanying the 'request response' message ('Continue Without Answering' and 'Answer the Question') remain unchanged. Participants indicate their preferred survey language by answering a question. Any assistance in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Summing Matrix Table text entry of numbers to place in reporting

Hello - I have a Matrix table of text entries where the end user will enter numbers into each box.  I would like to sum each ROW of the table and embed that into a report.  I am new to much of this feature and not sure of the best way to approach. It looks like using Constant Sum does not report out anywhere other than on screen.  Many thanks!
