Changing entire survey font colour using custom CSS

Hi there, I am trying to change the colour of the text for the entire survey but the custom CSS code I have found on this site isn’t working. This is what I have tried:.Skin .QuestionText {color:#FFFFFF;}.Skin .QuestionBody {color:#FFFFFF;} Could someone please advise if there is something else I can try? Thanks

Click on multiple choice option should take me to next defined block

I have created multiple choice question in EX which includes 50 choices. Format is list with multiple answer choice. Created a block for each choice i.e 50 blocks for 50 choices.I would like to move to the block as soon as I click on that particular choice.Currently, I have to scroll down and click on next which is not a good user experience.Please anyone help me on this.  Thanks!

3rd party extension does not support workflow tasks

Hey,I’m currently trying to turn a rather complex survey project into a Solution extension in order to make a template out of it for future projects. However, since I imported the project into my solution extension, I get this error message when building the extension: 3rd-Party Extension is not allowed to use version of the following resources: [trigger.v0 trigger.v0 task.v0 task.v0 task.v0] I checked the tasks in question and they seem to be workflow tasks that I created, is it possible to keep them in the extension and fix this or do I need to remove them?

Eliminating graphics flashing

I have built a question (inside of a loop/merge) that includes 5 buttons. The buttons either become invisible in a static condition or display different graphics in an interactive condition. Sometimes the accompanying graphic is slow to load and flashes. I found a solution to this problem on the community from Feb 23: You can eliminate the flash by putting your question text in a <div> with a lot a top padding, then change the top padding to zero at the end of your JavaScript. That way when the images initially flash they are off the screen: <div id="myqt" style="padding-top:3000px">Question text goes here</div> At end of JavaScript: jQuery("#myqt").css("padding-top","0px"); I have tried this solution in my code. When I put the js statement into the code at the bottom of the addOnLoad function, nothing appears to happen. I have tried to put the statement as the first statement in the addOnLoad, and this works but only some of the time. I am attac

Evenly present the elements under randomizer

I have 4 treatments. In the survey flow I have assigned, randomly present one of the following - evenly present.But when I checked the 10 responses, the ratio is 5:2:2:1. Why did this happen?Is it like that after a certain number of responses only it will get balanced?will previews also effect this count?

How do I validate zipcode text entry against a list of approved zipcodes

I want to ask the question "What is your zipcode?" as a text entry question and then based off the entered zipcode either terminate the survey or continue to next question. I have a list of 3000+ zipcodes and the respondent must live in one of the zipcodes in order to continue the survey. I tried using the Authenticator, but that only allows for the zipcode to be entered one time and there might be many respondents that live in one zipcode. Any tips?

Using Cleave.Js for time spent hh;mm

Hi,I would like to use a text entry question to ask participants how much time they spent sleeping. I am able to get a time picker using flatpickr, but that does not suit my needs since I do not need a time of day such as 20:30. In short, I only require hh and mm as response options. For e.g., total time spent sleeping is 6 hours and 30 minutes. Using multiple boxes is also not an option for hours and minutes separately, since I want the responses to be stored as a single variable. I came across a post where Cleave.Js was offered as an option, however I am unable to programme it to my needs. The error arising is always an unexpected token ‘;’, which I cannot identify within the code. Is anybody able to help or advise? Additional data in a survey

Hi,I have a survey to evaluate a Training session. We distribute it via QR codes, and within the survey url in the QR code, there is a url parameter that indicates &Training_ID=1So we have a couple dozen of different training ID’s.Each training has a name, location, type, etc.I do want to use the training’s name/location/type in my dashboards. i.e. what is the average satisfaction of the trainings in location B.I don’t want to add every single extra field into my QR code url, that makes the QR too dense. I only want the training ID in my url.What is the most efficient way to be able to use this additional data about the trainings?My current method is to add a Branch per training id.So branch 1: If Training_ID = 1, then Name = x and Location = A and type = z.Branch 2: If Training_ID = 2, then Name = y and location = B and type = yand so forthbut this is starting to be a whole lot of branches as our number of trainings is growing. I also tried to have an additional project, an import

PROBLEM with slider with text on both ends and randomization.

Hello. I am creating a slider question with multiple options. I would like to slider's attribute to be bipolar and to be listed on the left and right end of the slider, as shown in the attached image. This works fine using the custom JS code shown below. Workflow follow-up email to prolific participants

Has anyone ever used Qualtrics Workflow to send follow-up emails to Prolific participants?Prolific has a function that allows you to send an email to participants, for example 58dbb652520ca20001e87f23@email.prolific.com, and the participant '58dbb652520ca20001e87f23' will receive the email as if you sent them a message through the Prolific interface.More info: https://researcher-help.prolific.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360009222893-How-can-I-contact-participants-#h_01HD4A5EMYNJ2YJFQY2FJY3BKJHowever, in order for the email to get through to the participant in Prolific, the email address from which you send an email using an external client must be registered to a Prolific account (i.e. it must me my own email address)I’d like to integrate this using a Qualtrics Workflow Task, but I’m not sure how to set up the to and from email address parameters. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Failed to create user & username already in use

Hi Experts,We have integrated our successfactors system to qualtrics through SFTP. The current setup is that SF generates employee export file and stores insisde qualtrics. The users are imported into XM directory for the survey need. ALthough, The automation is running successfully there are some active users not imported into qulatrics system yet. It says Failed to create and username already in use. When cross checked, I confirm that username are unique ID not duplicate is found. Kindly let me know how to import those users ?Regards,Mohammed Javed

Piped text from multiple choice option (text entry )

Hi everyone!I have contacted the support already but they could not help me :/My Problem:I have a multiple choice question with different answer options. One of them allows text entry:       Others: _____________Now I want to pipe in the text entry into the question text of a following question.Therefore I have used       ${q://QID42/ChoiceTextEntryValue/24}But then the piped text is (for example: the respondent has typed in “ABC”):       “Others: ABC”What I want is only the answer “ABC” to be piped, not the answer choice “others:”.How can I do that?Thanks for your help!:) h.

System Usability Scale (SUS) Math in Survey Flow

Hi, We are trying to add some math into our System Usability Scale (SUS) survey that will automatically calculate the score in the survey flow and reporting. Update a drill down choice in a survey question without loosing historical data

Hi Experts,I have a question where people enter the organization information through multiple drill down menu such as Division, Country, Region, Location… The choices change according to a display logic. Our dashboard is currently configured and mapped to filter all the sites, divisions…There’s around 53 sites and 4 divisions. We need to update all the drill down choices contents (site name changes, new sites and new divisions) but I am afraid to loose all the filtering in our dashboard and the historical datas.Is there any possibility to recode the values for a drill down choices ?  Is there any way that I could minimize the lost of datas ?

linking two (and future) surveys WITHOUT an authenticator?

Due to an Ethics issue at my university with the topic of my research, I can't ask my participants to fill out their contact information, voluntarily, in the main survey. They asked to link to a separate survey in which they can fill those out. This survey is the first of what we intend to be a longitudinal study, and participants are asked to fill out contact information if they choose to be sent the following surveys in a few months, a year etc. What I'm having trouble with is connecting the main survey's data with the contact info, and how to connect future surveys to this. I've tried with the authenticator, but the pre-fill didn't work for me and I can't provide participants with a random login ID number and ask them to enter it, another ethics issue, everything has to be behind the scenes. is there a workaround for this?

Table Averages are not Correct

This is my first question so I hope I am asking this in the right area. I have set up a matrix table question using a Standard Likert format. Using the Results tab I set up a table that is supposed to have the average score per statement. However, the averages shown in the results table are higher than possible. 5 should be the maximum possible. The responses recorded are 10 “test responses”. Can I get advice on how to set this up so the averages display correctly?  I’ll do my best to include screenshots of each “set-up”. Question:Table in the Results tab: (a preceding question asks about what term is being rated)Results Table Setup: Scoring Setup: Any advice on what I need to change?

Meta Info - Question Gap
