Adding pages before ending survey

Good day! On the first page of my survey is the consent form. If they decline consent, I would like them to go to a demographics page before ending the survey. I tried to include the demographic block in the flow between the consent block and the end of the survey with no success (goes to thank you message once you hit select not to consent). Any help??

Survey function Idea: Allow downloads of uploaded files from reports by non-contributors

Current Problem: If a person is not a contributor on the survey, they are unable to download files uploaded into the survey. So when I make a report and share it with non-contributors, they can see the links to files but when they try to click on the file link, they are unable to download. Thus, we must provide these files separately, which is less-than-ideal for many reasons. We cannot make these folks collaborators on the survey because they should not have access to the entire dataset collected in the survey.Current Solution (if applicable): Currently there isn't really a solution. I can create a live report with a filter appropriate for certain audiences. This report can automate the process of showing the most up-to-date results of all survey questions related to them (due to the filter) except that I must separately download all the items submitted via the file upload question and send those to the people separately. This takes extra effort and time and limits our ability to us

Adding Hyperlinks to help users navigate with various sections in survey

Hello,Is it possible to add Hyperlinks to help users navigate with various sections in survey? For example, linking specific words that are presented in other blocks or pages to direct users’ attention to where those words are in the text. Clicking any back button may not be user friendly, because the user would in some cases need to click it many times to navigate back to a page. So, what do you recommend?Many thanks in advance.

Trying to figure how to use other survey data into a new survey

Here it goes - I have a survey for people to register for a session. I check that data frequently and make sure that there are no duplicates etc. They also select which session to go. Now The first session has occurred and I want to send out a survey asking for their feedback. So on a new survey, I said. Thank you for coming to the [title] session, on [date]. we would like to hear your feedback etc......I created a directory with a new group who attended the session with some extra information (like course name and date). I want to pull that from that contact list. Because I have 20 sessions to go and I will add more attendees to the list.How do I go with that? I would like it to be more personalized - specific title and date.Any tips would be appreciated.Thank you!

Redirection from REDCap to Qualtrics

We had a group who just advertised the surveys (printed out and everything). The survey will begin this December before they realized that we were going to shut down REDCap at the end of the year. I am seeing if we can redirect the URL that we have from REDCap to the new survey on Qualtrics? They are rebuilding the surveys on Qualtrics.Let me know if this is possible.

Survey Invite Lay-out

Hi everyone, Hope someone can help me with the survey invite lay-out. The mailer function in Qualtrics isn't very comprehensive, but I want my invite to look professional. Think the survey invite is an important part of your survey success, you don't want your email to look as spam. I am searching for simple lay-out with a company logo, a banner, text, embedded question, text, a banner. The helpdesk says I need to code in HTML? Never done that, who can help me with some advice? Question responses limited based on prior question response

HelloI have 2 questions that deal with the same thing. For example:Q1 - what is your preferred color? you can choose 1 answer. Choices are Blue, Green, Red, Yellow.Q2 - what is your 2nd choice of colors? you can choose 1 answer. Choices are Blue, Green, Red, Yellow.My issue is that right now someone can select red for both Q1 and Q2. I want it to be so that if red is selected in Q1 then it cannot be selected in Q2.Is there a way to do this?Thank you!

Is there a way to dynamically present single choices from a multiple choice item in another item?

Hi,I'm working on a study where people choose 10 out of 100 words via MC. Afterwards, they are supposed to define each chosen word in 10 single items by filling in a text field.Unfortunately, dynamic text only seems to allow for grouped presentation of all 10 previously selected words. Is there a way to only show one chosen word at a time so that participants know which to define?Thank you very much!

Retake the survey within a survey

I have a complex survey (for my newbie standards) that I need to create.When a participant selects from a Yes or No question, he returns to the first question, and his first selection is greyed out or removed from the list of choices.Here is a sample:So if participant selects A in Q1, then multi-selects Q2, then added a free text feedback, he will be asked if they are done selecting. IF participants selects no, he goes back to Q1 but A will be gone from the selection, Q2 and Q3 will still be the same. Then same logic until he's done. In real life, the list choices will be more than 10, and one user won't select all 10.The data also has to be stored every time they select a different response in Q1, because Q2 and Q3 might have different answers per Q1 choice. Which makes me wonder what the data will look like.Is this possible?

Ranking values calculated in survey flow

I have a survey where respondents are asked a couple questions about 13 statements, and based on their answers to those questions, each respondent has a score (CD_1_Score, CD_2_Score, etc.) for each statement. These are calculated using equations in the survey flow. Then, respondents are supposed to see their top 5 statements (top five highest CD_Scores) in the next section of the survey to answer questions on. Is there a relatively simple way to establish in the survey what each respondent's top 5 statements are, to then have those statements displayed later in the survey?

Authenticator in different Languages

Hello everybody!I hope this question wasn't answered before, but I have searched for quite some time and haven't found an answer yet.I am wondering if the authenticator can also be translated in several version, since you are only able to upload one text file and one label for the authentication field. Error with text piping

Hi everyone, at the end of my survey there's a summary displayed, with piped text, and we also give users the option to have this summary emailed to them after. For that summary email, I used email triggers and copy and pasted the html from the summary in the survey.Everything is piping correctly inside the survey, but in the post-survey email trigger with the same html omits the first piped in choice. Email Report Limits

Are there any email limits for sending out advanced reports? I run an extensive program in my organization, and I have 50 surveys with advanced reports that go out monthly. The total number of scheduled advanced reports is over 2,000. I'm hearing that some employees are not receiving their scheduled report monthly, but if I go in and manually send it, they receive it.

Reusable choices - dropdown

Hello,Is there a way to include 2 columns in an import for reusable choices in a dropdown?For example, I currently have a list of student names imported into a dropdown list for a survey question. This works great, however, when I export survey results for analysis, I only have the names. I need to have also the student id that aligns to the student name. I need the id to link to an external table for analysis.Is there a way to have the id column next to the name column in the import to Qualtrics? I don't need the the id to show in the dropdown though, I only need it to pull through in the Data & Analysis export.Can you please assist?Thank you!

I am getting an error when I click the opt-out link on a preview email.

I sent myself a preview email of a new survey I am testing. When I click the opt-out link, I see the following in my web browser:Why am I getting this error? What does #Registration, RequireRecipientID# mean?

How to set up conditional validation within a side by side question.

I want to put the condition on 2nd column based on value of 1st column in side by side question. If value for a statement is 0 in 1st column then 2nd column will automatically take zero value or empty value is acceptable.

Login errors on Mac with Firefox and Safari when trying to log into Qualtrics account

Does anyone know what causes the login error: {{ 'LOGIN.BROWSER_NOT_SUPPORT' | translate }} when trying to log into a Qualtrics account.It happens on Firefox on a Mac. Javascript is enabled and cookies are accepted.On the same Mac login into Qualtrics doesn't work either, but the person trying this just sees the same login page again. Here as well cookies are enabled.N.B. It is not an account problem, as the account can be accessed on other devices.I will be grateful for any suggestions that might help find the solution! How do I identify results from a sub-set of participants?

In my research I 'randomised' my survey so participants would see one set of data first, then the other set of data - or vice versa. I am looking to understand their responses based upon whether which data they saw first. How can I identify which data set they saw first? It is not obvious based upon the civ file I exported. Thanks in advance.
