How to end a survey if an item from a multiple choice question is NOT selected

Hi,In my survey there’s a multiple choice question (multiple answers allowed) and I would like to end the survey if a certain option is NOT selected i.e.  Option 1Option 2Option 3Option 4 If Options 1, 2, 3 and 4 are selected, the survey proceeds. However, if Option 4 is NOT selected (for example), the survey has to end.I’ve tried adding branching logic but it doesn’t seem to trigger for some reason.What do you think I’m doing wrong? Thanks so much in advance!

Change Date Format

Hi EveryoneI have a date picker question that gives the result DD/MM/YY.But when using this field via piped text, or reviewing the results in data and analysis it as the YY/MM/DD format.How can I retain DD/MM/YY and use DD/MM/YY as piped text?Thanks :)

Survey Title issue

I have used qualtrics a long time and never had this issue.  I have created a survey, and I have named it and double checked the survey options to make sure it has the right name.  However, when I click on the link for the survey or the preview, it has a name I never heard of. It is not even a name of any other survey I’ve developed - Michigan SBDC.  I don’t want that on the survey.

I want to know if I have used a particular question in any of my prior projects so that I can use the same instead of creating the whole thing again. Is there any way to search if a particular keyword has been used in any of the questions in any of my projects?

Connecting information from columns from excel (contact list) to answer options.

Hello again,I have an excel sheet with numerical information. I need to be able to connect information from the excel sheet to the answer options. The question is a slider type, and there will be three questions to which I would need to be able to connect information from one particular row from excel. The participant will then evaluate if they agree on scale 1-10.“Cats should eat X times a day Y times a week” ”On average cats live Z years”​​​​​​ “Q people out of 100 have cats”The excel sheet would have then columns with names ID, X, Y, Z, Q and there would be about 1000 rows with different values. How can I connect the information from rows to the question. So that there would be eventually “cats should eat 3 times a day 5 times a week” etc? I uploaded the excel as a contact list. I also should be able to record the ID to know from which row the information taken. Is there any way that the Qualtrics would assign a random number top the responded, this is not that serious how the ID nu

Linking responses from external second survey to Qualtrics responses

Hi everyone, I want to use Qualtrics as a wrapper questionnaire which then links the participants to a second external questionnaire. The hyperlink I included in the ‘rich content editor’ sends the participants to the second survey but I have no way to link a participant’s responses on Qualtrics to the external questionnaire responses. Can anyone help me with this please?

Zendesk Workflow - Trial account

Hi all,  I am evaluating Qualtrics's CoreXM plus Design XM offering against some other vendors, a key use case for us is integration with Zendesk. To trigger surveys post interaction and to close the loop with unhappy customers (ideally passing values back and forth) However, I get a blank model when I click “create workflow:” and then click the “Zendesk extension”.  I do not get the same  issue when I try other extensions. So not off to a good start, and when I go to submit a ticket for technical support I see you need to be on a paid plan. Does anyone else have this issue? I am wondering if the trial accounts are a bit flakey/this workflow is not allowed

Loop & Merge with empty custom fields

I have created a block with loop & merge that will go through only asking based on a previous questions selected answers. I edited the fields for the loop and merge to have them answer based on what they previously selected. However, not all questions in the loop have the same number of selections so how do I not show the empty fields. For example, my Loop & Merge fields look like:FIELD1, FIELD2, FIELD3, FIELD4TitleA, opt1, opt2, opt3TitleB, optA, optBTitleC, optionA, optionB, optionCTitleD, only

Formatting the Constant Sum Question 2

My second question on how to format the Constant Sum Question.This “Vertical” format puts my labels far on the left of the screen, and my answer boxes far on the right.  On a normal computer screen, they are nowhere near each other, even though they are aligned horizontally.Is there some way to put the answer boxes over near the labels, so you can more easily see which one you are answering?An acceptable alternative would be to put in a horizontal like going all the way across the screen, from the label to the answer box.OR, horizontal color strips or highlights, so you can easily match up the question with what you are answering. Thanks in advance.

Survey authentication with and without Shibboleth

Hello, Is there a way to have a single survey that uses Shibboleth authentication AND allows those who cannot authenticate to logon as well. The population who cannot authenticate would be (in my scenario) directed to the same survey and be required to complete a few survey questions to gather demographic information. Those that authenticate when they logon would not need to view/answer the demographic questions. I currently have a couple of surveys that use Shibboleth and work well. It is allowing those who cannot authenticate to take the same survey where I’m unsure how to proceed. Does anyone have any thoughts as to how that can happen? Thank you!

Response time test?

Hi, I would like to add a simple response time test to my survey. Something as simple as a button shows up somewhere on the page, then the time it takes for the participant to click the button is measured. Is this possible with Qualtrics? Thanks.

Randomization /Quota

Hi I have a question regarding the numbers shown in the above screenshot. I’m planning to recruit 30 participants for my study and they are randomized in to 3 different group of 10 each. As i understand initially participants will randomized evenly. After one group quotes meet (10) and the participants will randomized for remaining two group. I’m not sure I understand correctly? Can I randomly present some blocks to some participants but not others?

I have three blocks. I want everyone to response to Blocks 1 and 3, but I want participants randomly assigned to Block 2 so that half the participants complete Blocks 1, 2 and 3 and half the participants only complete Blocks 1 and 3. In other words, I want to exclude Block 2 for half. Can that be done?

Use total response count as the maximum value for multiple charts?

I have a report with charts that use ‘choice count’ as the metric. What I want to do is use the number of responses as the Max range of each chart so they’re all using the same y-axis range.The survey is going to be reused frequently so I would prefer to not have to manually set the max range to the same value each time I need to run the report.

Bot using gift card link within survey

Hello,I’m currently a doctorial student distributing a survey to gather information about sefl-determination in young adults with a history of foster care. As part of my project I created a questionnaire and converted into Qualtrics. To recruit participants(hard group to survey) I’ve been disbursing my survey  via links and QR codes on flyers and post approved throughout state and community care organizations working with this group and on private groups on Reddit and Facebook. The survey is set up where eligible participants can complete the survey and are redirected at the end to another anonymous link to receive their incentive (Typical protocol approved by my IRB).  I had the issue of bots getting through the survey and using the anonymous link at the end to try to get the incentive. I also realized at some point there where more gift card responses collected than surveys completed. Before publishing I had bot detection and repeated responses enabled on both and with a normal quest

Department Head Approval/Authentication

Hi, I have built two surveys. The first survey is for staff to make an annual declaration, the second survey is for their respective Department Heads to endorse their declaration. Each department head is expected to approve the annual declaration of a few subordinates. In the first survey,  the response of staff to each question will be added to the contact list via the Add to XM Directory function. The second survey is very simple and only consists of two blocks. The first block shows what the staff previously entered in the first survey (i.e. already included in the contact list) via the Pipping text function. The second block contains one question only: Do you endorse the declaration? Department head will receive an email each time when their subordinates submit the first survey. Each email contains anonymous link of the second survey and be informed of the staff ID of a subordinate (i.e. the respondent of the first survey) . After clicking the link, there will be an authentication
