Right to left alignment

Dear allI have a problem in making my survey in Persian. I know we can use the translation in Qualtrics, but I wonder whether there’s a possibility to customize the language into Persian (Farsi) before creation of a survey. Or Quadratics just allows us to translate the survey. The problem is that the translation (from English to Farsi) is not accurate.Although I do not have any problem with the question itself, I have got the issue on the responses since in Persian language the writing is from right to left; but here in Quadratics just left to right has defined even when we use the reverse option, it is only work in English not in different language.  For me, it is very important to reverse the structure from 1 to 5 for instance from right to left.Does anyone has the same problem or haven’t you got any idea about this issue?Thanks in advance

Comment topic syntax for "None"

Hi there We have a large number of open comments where people have written “None”.  Is there any syntax we can use to easily categorise these, because we don’t want it to include comments where “none” has been used as part of the sentence.

Change spelling of survey with survey logic

Hi,  I currently have a survey planned, as part of the demographics candidates can pick US as well as other demographics, Is there a way within the survey logic if the candidates pick US, the rest of the survey’s spellings and questions be coded to match US spelling but only if they pick this?

Randomizer and branching

Hi.I have 7 blocks of questions. A randomizer selects 1 block--call it Report--and presents it to the respondent. I set embedded data with a variable Report equal to 1. I ask if the respondent is willing to complete another block of questions If no, I branch to the end of the survey If yes, a randomizer selects one of 7 branches Assume it selects the last of the 7 branches in the randomizer that goes to the block the respondent has already completed, so it does not present that block again (i.e., Report=1) Will the randomizer select another block or will the flow exit the randomizer without presenting a second block? Individualized Links Embedded in a Survey

Hello! I am creating a survey and in one block of the survey I need to include a link that will take participants to another website where they will complete a questionnaire. However, in order to retrieve the data later, each participant needs an individualized link so that it can be located within the system. How do I make it so that each participant is randomly assigned a link, is not able to view other links, and no links are repeated?

How do I group respondents into categories in my specific case?

I have multiple Likert Matrix Table questions that each have 5 different answer options and multiple statements. I want to classify each respondent into one of two categories (“complaints” and “no complaints”) based on their answers to these questions so that I can later see the percentage of respondents that have been classified into the “complaints” category for each question (not each statement!). I want to classify a respondent into the “complaints” category if they choose any of three answer options for these questions on at least one statement within each matrix table question and classify them into the “no complaints” category if they do not choose any of these three answer options on any of the statements in the question. I want to do that for each of my matrix table questions so that for each question, respondents are grouped into one category. I have no clue how do to that, could someone help me out?

Hotspot question selects answers that are not clicked

Hi!I created a survey with several hotspot questions showing a webshop with clothes. There is one region per piece of clothing in a grid like pattern, so that respondents can select what to add to their cart. However, when testing the survey I noticed that whenever you would click on a region that was below another one, the regions above it also get selected, even though they weren't clicked on. This would really mess with my data. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Exported Qualtrics Excel File Query

I recently exported the Excel file of a survey from Qualtrics. The first question asks respondents to choose their occupation.On the exported Excel file, there are blank responses for this question. I was wondering if this is people who accessed the survey but did not start the survey? There are no further responses associated with these blank responses.Thanks for your help with my query.

How to record how many times a participant has replayed a mp4 video?

Hi! I've searched for custom code to get the information from replay video and I couldn't find an exact answer. One of my answer options is missing in the results section

I have a questionnaire consisting of several Likert Matrix tables, each containing five different answer options. However, in the results section, only four of these answer options are displayed. It seems that the responses for that option are merged together with the responses to one of the other answer options that does get displayed in the results section as this one has an unusually high amount of responses. I attached two screenshots that hopefully make my issue clearer. Thanks in advance.

Loop & Merge in results or reports page

Hi,I am looking for a way to easily visualize the loop & merge questions in a results page or a report. I created a loop & merge survey with 26 options to select. Each option has 5 follow-up questions (text-entry) with the loop & merge. So in total, there are 130 questions.I am struggling to visualize the results in an nice way. Preferably I like to have for each option 1 report. However, I'm also ok with a page brake after each option. Is there an easy way to set up a report in this way (and not by selecting 130 questions individual)?Thanks! Stefan

Send email with responses in list or excel form

Dear communityI’m using qualtrics for students to fill in a survey 2x, once at the beginning (A) and once at the end of the semester (B).I am able to automate the sending of an email with their responses after the survey is completed.Thus after (A) they will receive their responses, and after (B) they will receive their responses.To facilitate a reflection exercise I would like the responses to be in a table form. I.e. question in column 1, response in column 2. That way it’s easier to compare (A) and (B). Unfortunately the emails generated only provide text/sentence responses, and I’m not able to configure how to provide the responses in a table or excel.Would anyone be able to help me out on this? Thanks a lot!

Personlized link reciepient can't access survey

Hello, I have published a survey and then created personalized links. When a respondent opens the link, a message says, “Unfortunatly, you are not authorized to access this survey.". The anonymous link works and records responses. Any tips to make the personalized link work?

Help - All my surveys appear missing!!!

I have not made any changes, when I go into Data & Analysis to look at my survey responses it says "Your responses are being re-indexed for speedier viewing and will appear shortly." I have been waiting for 20 minutes. What is more concerning is that in the upper right corner of the screen it says Recorded Responses 0/136 and Last Recorded Collected: Never - Inactive.I hope I did not lose all the survey responses, please help!

Dynamically update survey question response options using previously entered data

Hi--I have created a survey that the same person completes every time they have a meeting with a client; new clients are regularly added, each with a unique ID, and the survey completer is likely to meet with each client several times. Is there a way to automatically update a dropdown list of client IDs in the survey each time a new client is added?  Thanks for any ideas--my Qualtrics skills are pretty basic and I’m trying to make better use of the possibilities it offers.
