Need to randomize 3 blocks, and for each block I need to add the same branch. How can I do it?

I need to randomize 3 blocks (3 different pictures). In each block there is the same question and then based on the answer (yes, no) of each participant, the participant will be directed to different blocks. How should I add the branch for each block? Should I create one branch for each block that is being randomized?

Embedding a customized reusable link in a message template

I want to be able to have each of our event planners save an anonymous survey link that includes an embeded field i.e surveylink?planner=Casey. Is there a way I can save this in stored message template so that it automatically loads this link instead of the default when the saved message is used?

Randomization of language

I am looking to randomize the language my participants have to do the study in (I am testing bilinguals) and I then one them in a follow up study get the survey in the other language...Would anybody know how to do this ?

How do I make one of my questions pop up randomly on my survey?

Hello guys! I am working on a school project survey and I have 2 different questions I am putting into my survey. Is there anyway that qualtric survey randomize those questions? where only 1 of 2 of those questions will pop up randomly when my participants are taking my survey. Thank you have a great day!

How to adjust the text height in a survey question?

I made a change in the Rich Content Editor, hoping to remove spaces between lines of our disclaimer language. it looks fine in preview, but not in actual survey. I changed this code form 120% to 80%: style="line-height: 80% Any suggestion is appreciated.

Applying Least Fill assignments

Has anybody ever applied a least fill process in their Qualtrics survey? Is this even possible? If so, please help with how you did it. Scenario is this. We have a question asking which categories (grocery) the respondent has shopped. From this we want to assign each person a specific category to ask them questions about. I know how to randomly assign, but was wondering if it was possible to make it so it wasn't random, but pick the category that the least amount of 'assignments' at the time. Thanks!

Reminder Green but doesn't say sent

If I have sent out a reminder and it has a green circle then why does it still have a zero under the sent column. Should I be worried that the reminder didn't go out?

How do I.....

Hi I had 2 issues I needed help with (listed below). Thank you for your help in advance. 1. I have multiple choice question where I am having respondents to choose one answer from list of options. The last option is "Other (please indicate)" - the question is how do I add a text box to get respondents answer next to the option? 2. I have a demographics question - which is also a multiple choice; where I ask: "Is your site located in the US?" Options are: "YES" "NO" Then I ask; "If yes, please indicate State" - how do I add a drop down box to capture State? Then, if Option is selected as "NO" - I would like to be able to provide a space where they can write "Country site is located in" - how do I do that? Thank you once again. Regards Ashesh Saraf

Trying to use Q_PopulateResponse and branching logic together?

I'm using an anonymous link with 2 different query strings to post a survey on an intranet page: 1 string for Yes answers to the first question and 1 string for No answers. Question 2 uses branching logic based on the answer to question 1. I'm using Q_PopulateResponse to gather the answer for question 1 from the anonymous link on the intranet page. When a user clicks the link, the survey opens and they see Q1 with their answer auto-populated. I've set up an auto-advance timer for the smallest increment of time (.1) and the branching logic does work properly. But Q1 does flash briefly on the screen. Ideally, I'd like the survey to open on the next question in the survey when they click the Yes or No button the intranet page. Is there a way to not show Q1 at all with q_populateresponse? Or another workaround that isn't creating a Yes survey and a No survey? Thanks in advance for your time! Dawn

Having more than one survey feed into the same results table

We have four event planners on campus and, after they coordinate an event, they send a feeback survey to the event owner. Currently, everyone is using the same survey. I am wondering if it would be possible to have each planner have their own edition of the survey. Initially the reason for this desire was so that each could set up a trigger that would email them the results but a secondary benefit would be to be able to track aggregate feedback scores by event planner. Usually I can figure out things pretty easily for Qualtrics with all the resources that are available but I am stumped on this one, thus my venture into these forums. Thanks in advance for any help.

Authenticator with Shibboleth Redirct

Hello Community! I am one of the Qualtrics admin at Northeastern University. We have Single Sign-On using Shibboleth. We wanted to have policies and resources easily accessible to users, so we made a Northeastern Qualtrics landing page. This is the page all users have to go to when Logging into Qualtrics and in the admin area of Qualtrics we have the login page redirecting to this page. However, because we have this login redirect in place, the Authenticator doesn't work for us as it will bring users to the login page but after they login it doesn't go back into the survey but instead it bring the course to the Qualtrics Project page (as all users have a Qualtrics account to create surveys). We spoke with Qualtrics Support and it sounds like to get authenticator to work properly, we need to remove the redirect login page and will lose the landing page experience. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on how to resolve? Thank you!

New Printed Reports contains Software Defect

Advanced-Reports Basic Overview https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/reports-module/reports-section/paginated-reports-overview/ I have noticed that the New Printed Report module contains a few Software Defects related to Date Searches within the Filter. The date choices are as follow: - Today - Yesterday - This Week - This Month - This Quarter - This Year - Last 7 Days - Last 14 Days - Last 30 Days - Last 60 Days - Last 90 Days - Last 180 Days I am using the Qualtrics Survey End Date and the following selections are returning surveys that are outside of the range: 1. This Month - The expectation is that it would only return completed surveys for the current month. - Issue: Using this selection will return results for the current and previous month, more than 30 or 31 Days. It is going as far back as February 1, 2018. - Since today's date is March 27, 2018, the expectation would be that it returns results between March 1, 2018 - to March 27, 2018. 2. This Qu

Different websites lead to the same survey. Can this distinction be seen at data analysis?

Participants are directed to the same survey from different urls (different websites). Can the different websites that the survey is originated from be seen in the data analysis? So that I can compare the different conditions. Otherwise, I won't be able to analyze the results.

Require response for a constant sum question

I've written a question that asks the respondent to enter the amount of funding coming from different revenue sources. I used constant sum, with the total box at the end. I don't want them to be able to skip the question. The forced response option is not offered for constant sum questions. I tried the enforce range option, but that won't work because not every line in the constant sum will necessarily have a value entered (every respondent will not use every one of the revenue sources). Any ideas how I might be able to get this to work the way I envisioned? Thank you!

Creating a questionnaire that can be answered by several people within a respondent organization?

I am trying to create a questionnaire to be sent to multiple organizations via email link. In each organization, there will be various people who would be able to fill different sections of the questionnaire. Now, there are two requirements: 1. Within one organization, the central person responsible for filling the questionnaire should be able to forward the link to different people. However, each individual should be able to fill his/her own allotted section and not be able to see responses to other sections filled by other people 2. The central person should not be allowed to send the link to any email outside their organization. Hope this is doable with Qualtrics? If yes, how Any help from the experts here would be highly appreciated!

Same question needs different view for desktop and mobile

We have a rank order question that contains a paragraph sized chunk of text plus a image. The Qualtrics out of the box text posistion stacks the image either on top or bottom of the text (depending on what you select) but the left/right posistion will take place the first line of text and properly but each subsequent line is stacked under/over the image which looks very odd. Placing the image on the top of the text is the best option of mobile viewing as it eliminates the need for horizontal scrolling but for the desktop view we'd like to put the text/image in a 2 column table so it properly aligns and maximized horizontal screen space. That being said I currently have this as 2 separate questions using display logic to check if the user is mobile or not. With the plan to manually combine data at survey completion. Is there a better way??? Thank you!

Force integers in constant sum question

I am trying to replicate a gallery walk that was done in-person with a constant sum question in Qualtrics. For the gallery walk there were several categories presented and participants had three sticky dots that they placed on the categories to vote for their favorites. I have been able to set up the constant sum question so I have one column where respondents will assign a value of 0-3 to the row. And also have validation on it so that the total must equal 3. But in testing I found that someone can enter 1.5 in two rows and still pass. I would like to force them to use only integers so they can't work the system and vote for more than 3 options. Any advice on how I can add this extra validation? The only allowable answers I want are: * Assign a value of 3 to one row and 0 to the rest * Assign a value of 1 to three rows and 0 to the rest * Assign a value of 1 to a row and 2 to a different row then 0 for the rest Thanks for the help!

How do I randomize the questions in a block and then display just ONE or TWO of the questions only?

Hi everyone! I have a use case for the following customer satisfaction survey: * I have a matrixed question for customers to rank their satisfaction on 5 different items. (scale 0-10) * For items that have been rated 4 or less (dissatisfed), I'd like to display a follow-up question to probe deeper. I've created some display logic to do so, and it works so far. * Here's the kicker: For the sake of brevity, I don't want to ask 5 different follow-up questions on all 5 items. (For example, if a respondent rates all 5 items as 4 or less, the survey would display all 5 follow-up questions. This would make the survey too long). I would like to cap the number of follow-up questions to 1 or 2 at most. Does anyone know how to do this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
