Hi All, Are there any sort of benchmarks available from Qualtrics on what a good survey achieves in terms of response rates? Regards, Samarth

We use surveys for tests and audits. We use the gauge chart for total average scores. Is there a way I can duplicate this widget, or use another type, to lock the YTD average score? Seems every time I click on a particular month, my YTD changes to just that month's average rather than being able to compare the 2 widgets. Lot of back and forth if I can't lock it. Of course, it will have to pull in succeeding months as well as they are pulled into the dashboard so it will not be completely static.

This feels like it should be very easy, but I haven't found a solution. I have an export task running (see screenshot below), and I just want to cancel it so that it stops entirely. How can I do that? !

What are the differences between distributing from Research Core and Target Audience?

Is there a way to remove all bounced back email addresses at once ? I have more than 500 and doing it one by one is not an option.

Whenever I send out a mailing, the same group of people continue to get bounce backs. How can I prevent them from appearing in my mailing when I'm sending an email to my directory. Additionally, how can I "unsubscribe" them from appearing in my directory.

Has anyone used a web service or API function with iQ Directory? I have a Qualtrics survey that contains a series of personal links to other surveys. I am wondering if it is possible to set up a web service to go to the iQ directory to "get" whether a student has completed a specific survey to "update" the portal to indicate that the student completed the survey. Example Portal page * Personal link to Survey A * Personal link to Survey B * Personal link to Survey C _____________________________ You have completed the following surveys: * Survey C (we want to see if a web call or API function that can go to the Student History of iQ Directory to update the completion on another Qualtrics survey page, in this case the Portal page)

I've used them. I've loved them. I've also used URLs with passing data on them. But now neither seem to be working properly. My URL is failing (may be a separate issue) - still investigating why. But the contact list trigger not sending data into the contact list has me baffled! I ensured that a valid email address is being passed in. So, I'm lost as to why it's not populating the contact list on completion (yes, I made sure the form was completed). Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing problems?

I have a survey asking what might be considered more personal information so I want to anonymize the responses so panel members feel more comfortable taking the survey. I'm wondering if the reminder will still be smart (sent to those who haven't taken the survey) and if their response history will still be recorded as completed in Target Audience? I realize I can't tie their data to their email, but will I know who (based on email address) completed the survey? Thank you in advance!

in downloading my data as a csv file, when i try to open the downloaded file in excel, it states it couldn't find the file and it may be moved, renamed or deleted. This is strange as i followed the same procedure many times to open it successfully until this block.

Hello, I am going to be launching a screener soon to collect internal respondents. I was wondering if you all had some best practices to share for successful panel management. Below are a few that I have come across, please share more! 1. Set up embedded data fields that you want to track 2. Set up a contact trigger list 3. Add recipentID as an embedded datafield 4. For each survey that I sent to panel respondents, add embedded datafield "surveyresponsenumber"=$e{ e://Field/ScreenerComplete + 1 }" to keep track of how many survey the respondent has responded to.

Hello, I made a mistake and uploaded contacts to the CX relational contacts and would like to delete them? It seems like there is no way to do it.

In order to streamline an otherwise long process, I created a mailing list that contains ALL the members in my directory. From this mailing list I create samples that I use to solicit a survey every 2 weeks. While this process is helpful in making my samples, it is scary that someone could accidentally email a survey to ALL my customers (2 MM people). I want to see if it is possible to prevent this mailing list from ever being selected, while still being able to select the samples from that mailing list. I am also open to any creative ways to manage this sample without the mailing list, if possible.

Hi there, Does anyone have any experience with merging (via renaming) embedded data fields in target Audience? We have a large recruitment survey where we have a range of embedded data fields, and then an updated version of the survey where we have renamed the embedded data fields to get rid of spaces by replacing these with underscores (e.g. initially 'Children under 16', now 'Children_under_16'.) Now, looking at the online help, it seems that if we simply rename 'Children under 16' to 'Children_under_16' then this will effectively merge the two embedded data fields into one embedded data field... But speaking to Qualtrics support, they had not heard of this, and were very concerned that we might try to do this and may potentially lose data....!! Does anyone have any experience in doing this to help give us a bit more confidence going forward? Any thoughts appreciated.

I'd like to be able to be able to quickly analyze embedded data variables (get % of gender, etc.). How have you folks found ways to do this? While I can use the filter, I feel like this functionality is very limiting since I can only search one variable at a time. A work around for me has been to download my contact list into Stat IQ and then analyze from there. However, this can get tedious since new people join my directory regularly. I could also use excel, but it also feels odd that I would have to use something separate from Qualtrics to review my breakdown. I'd love to hear suggestions from others on how you get demo breakdowns of your directory/mailing lists.

I uploaded a contact list of about 1000 people, but it says only about 15 uploaded. Why didn’t the other contacts upload?

One of our panelists called in really angry claiming that he had opted out using the opt out link, but a week later got another one of our emails. I can see that he indeed opted out of the mailing list I sent from. How is he still getting emails?

I distributed my survey in Research Core and only half of the emails sent out to the people that are in my mailing list. It doesn't say any of them are bounced. Why did it not send to the full list?

How do I move a mailing list to a folder?

When I schedule my distributions, I see a "current time" listed as my current time zone time (EST). I then schedule my distributions based on that time. However, I've found that the surveys actually distribute in CST. So for example, if I want a survey to launch at 3pm EST I need to schedule it for 2pm. Is there a way to confirm which time zone the emails will distribute? I always wonder if it's a bug and I'm uncertain when actually setting up the distribution.

I want to add an Embedded Data field to already existing contacts. How can I do this?

I am using a third party company to send out my survey (not using Target Audience), but I am providing them a list of contacts that I want them to send to. Since I have to pay the company for every email I send out, I want to only provide them with a list of contacts from my Target Audience account who have a response rate of more than 95% for all the surveys they received. How can I get this list?

When creating a sample, how do I make sure that the samples are distinct and don’t have overlaps?
