Auto Lock Multiple Choice responses on selection of a particular amount of response

Hi Team, I have a multiple choice question. We have put a answer range on the question, min 0 to max 3. Now respondents can go on selecting as many they want but when they submit they receive an error stating please select 3 responses. Can we disable the rest of the options, when 3 responses are selected and before they press submit.

How to Include an "N/A" Option in Carousel Questions

Hello,We ask a battery of 5 statements on a 5pt agreement scale. We want to broaden the statements we ask our customers to rate us on, and in doing that, we acknowledge there may be instances where we ask someone to rate a statement that irrelevant to them. As such, we’d like to include an “N/A” option… but we do NOT want it to appear as part of the scale.This is a rough mock-up of what we would like it to look like. Has anyone had success in doing this? Or other ideas on how to include an N/A that doesn’t kill the symmetry of the scale, increasing cognitive load on survey respondents? Many thanks!

I need to collect data on inventory levels based on multiple branching based on selections.

I've been working on this idea but can't seem to get it the last 100 feet. We have an inventory of office supplies and when people take something out, we want them to answer a survey that quickly gathers what items they have taken and updates those values in a list so that at any time we can review it and have an accurate reflection of how many are left of each item. In order to keep people doing the survey, it needs to be fast and efficient. In this vein, the survey is set up such that it will ask them a category of item and then branch more specifically to what they are taking. For example, if I wanted to take a single blue dry erase marker out, I would answer selecting dry erase markers, then blue, then type 1.The survey would then end without bothering me about any other items. Behind the scenes, it should update a list where the quantity of blue dry erase markers would go down by 1.Working with an IT guy in my organization, I set up a contact list where each item has a fake e

Hide radio buttons in Side by Side question with carry forward statements

I have a side-by-side question (Question ID 47), in which I have ten carried forward statements from a previous question (Question ID 12). In the columns, I have four columns, with three options as radio buttons (Yes/No/Don't know).I want to hide the radio buttons only in the first three columns and the 7th and 8th statement (if these two are carried forward), as follows: How can I do this? Validation of mandatory questions does not work when adding code

I have a question about the code window.location.href = "REDIRECT URL GOES HERE";if I have mandatory questions in the form, with this code if I press send without answering all the survey questions, the validation of mandatory questions is passed. Images in answer block and not presenting the same L&M image twice

Hi! I am trying to create a 4AFC study with images, but I am running into two problems. I uploaded a test image below.As you can see, the images are displayed above the answers. I would like the images to be inside the answers, while using the loop and merge function. So the participants will only have to click on the image they prefer.I want to randomise my loop and merge order, so that each participant sees a unique combination of images in their questions. I do not, however, want a participant to see the same image twice. This is causing me some problems, since I am not a good programmer and do not know how to solve this issue. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated !

Instantly limit choice selections in a multiple choice

In a Multiple Choice question, the respondent is allowed to select no more than 2 options. Depending on which one they select, an Text Entry question appears. I added Validation in order to make sure they get an error, but the error only appears after the respondent clicks Next. How can I remove the thank you page at the end of the survey that says "Please wait while you are redirected" before being redirected to an external page?

when a survey is completed, a loading page is displayed before redirecting to an external page.My question is if this page can be removed? and be redirected directly to the external thank you page.

Possibility of deselecting answer

Hello, I would like to know if there is any option how to make participants able to deselect some answer after selecting? There are no default answers, but as none of the questions is required, I would like participants to be able to change their mind later and not answer to some question after they have already selected some possibility (and as I have already plenty of choices I don´t want to add a new option "N/A" or something like that). Thank you for any advice.

Calculate difference between two times

Respondents record a start time (time to bed) and and end time (time out of bed) in separate questions using flatpickr’s time picker. The responses are recorded in the format, for example, 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM, for start time and end time respectively.I need to calculate time in bed = (time out of bed - time to bed) in minutes. Based on the suggestion of @TomG, I have attempted to do so with moment.js but have not been successful. Entry box that only allows letters or a character

I want to create some sort of a validation in Qualtrics to ensure a person only enters a letter or a character, as may be the case for someone who users snr. or jnr. in their last name. How do go about this; the custom validation does not seem to have this, and I see a provision for JavaScript but am not familiar. Your help would be highly appreciated. Regards.

Change font of Text/Gaphic to normal

In a survey, I need the font of all questions to be Bold and the answer text normal. Except for the first question, which is a Text/Graphic with an introduction text. Right now, this text is bold as well, because Qualtrics recognizes it as a question (I guess). I tried to override it in the Custom CSS like this without success. Changing hover color for Back button in Simple Layout

I have a survey with the Simple Layout, and some custom CSS for the Back/ Next buttons. The problem is that while hovering with the mouse over “Next’ turns te background to my primary color, hovering over “Back’ makes it light gray. How can I limit the dates that can be selected in Date Picker?

I need to limit the dates on the Date Picker to show 4/1/19 to 6/30/19, but am having trouble on locating where to edit this. I found a string of code (shown below) that can limit the dates, but am not sure where to place it within the code. Custom Code to put a red box around a multiple choice option

Hi, I am looking for custom code to put a red frame around one of 6 choices in a multiple choice question. The multiple choice question includes 6 images (all of which are graphics) to choose from. To start, I want one of the options to have a red frame around it (so that I can reference it in the question stem). Then, I want to carry forward these six options to a subsequent multiple choice question and for this question, I want the red box to be removed. This would be easy to do (without custom code) if the multiple choice questions always included the same 6 options, but they don't. The 6 options included for a given participant are drawn from a larger pool of 40 options and then once drawn, the order of these options is randomized. And, I need the same six options to be present in the second multiple choice question (the one without the red box) and I also need them to be in the same order as in the first question. I am assuming that this should be pretty easy to do with javascri
