Hi there! Can someone please advise how I can change the layout for the ‘Form’ questions so the options are not shown in the multiple lines. Please note I’d like to do so without reducing the font size. (I have the same question for the ‘Pick, group, and Rank’ questions as well.)See the image below for clarity.Thanks!  

Hi all, I have a matrix question, with 2 possible answer options. I noticed that once I click exactly in the button there is a red highlight around the button, like this ! However, when I click on another option or outside the button, the reg highlight goes away, like so. ! Does anybody know how to change this? I would like for the red highlight to never show up. I was having the same issue for multiple choice questions, but thanks to your guy's help, I was able to remove it. However, I have been unable to change for this type of question. I am using the Qualtrics 2014 theme. I am trying to build an emotional stroop test. How to you present text randomly from 2 different lists?  loop and merge does not work, because you can only randomly present the fields together. Essentially, I want to randomize each field in loop and merge. But that is not possible, so I want to know how to create 2 lists, then randomly present text from those lists to the question text. 

I would like to use something like a matrix likert question, but at the start of each row, I need to put a multiple choice radio button or checkbox for them to select which are even relevant to them (they will only completely the likert for the ones which are relevant). I’m sure javascript is going to be involved, but is this possible? My JS is rough, so all help appreciated. I’m also open to using a NPS question, if that’s better. Thank you!

I have a workflow with WebService tasks that send data to an external service with REST API calls.I can’t figure out how to format a date correctly.It’s a future date, and the required format is 2023-06-02T15:35:09.000Z where the T and Z are literal letters, and all the date and time fields have to be zero-padded on left.I found this page: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/vocalize/dashboard-settings-cx/dashboard-data/advanced-fields/custom-date-formats/.  It is for dashboards, but I figured the formatting codes would be consistent.  Not so.${date://OtherDate/yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss.000Z/+3 day} produces this in the sent data:23232323-JunJun-0505EDT1515:0606:4141.000-14400Can someone please help me with the right syntax, or better yet, point me to the right place to learn?Thanks!

When building a survey, any URL can be set up to open in a separate window. However, the same does not seem to be too straightforward with emails that are hyperlinked. It seems that, perhaps, it is an automatic Qualtrics function that, any emails, should open on the respondent’s default email app. However, when it is the case that an individual does not have a default email app, the hyperlinked email address opens on the same page of the survey and not on a separate window. Is there a way to make these hyperlinked email addresses open on a new window for those without a default email app on their devise to avoid disrupting the page they are on?

Hi all, I have a loop based on a number of brands. I will select two of them  in order to be shown in the loop.The problem is that in the first iteration I need to ask more questions than in the second loop.Now I wonder if I can manipulate the order of the brands with in the loop. Somehow this should be possible because we can randomise the loop order.  Any hints, tips, solution are welcome. Thanks a lot and best regardsRudi

I would like to use a modified version of the emotional Stroop test to measure cognitive flexibility. I would like to have this build into Qualtrics. I would ideally like my project to be live on Qualtrics within the next 2 weeks.I wondered if anyone would be want to build this? I'm trying to ensure the drag and drop boxes run horizontally across the screen rather than vertically (I have a question with 11 boxes into which a responder could drag and drop a statement). This will also mean I need to decrease the sizes of the drag and drop boxes and any help with this would also be appreciated. I'm a JavaScript novice and any help would be really appreciated!

I was trying to create a question where subjects will be given a JUMBLED sentence and will be asked to rearrange them. Instead of rewriting the sentence, I would need them to rearrange a certain number of word blocks to create the right sentence. However, it seems like qualtrics has an option - drag and drop- that allows only to rank them vertically instead of a horizontal rearrangement.  For your help, here is a sample of what I need: Jumbled sentence: created everyone is equal. Rearranged sentence: everyone is created equal.  

In my survey, respondents provide two times in two separate text entry questions on the same page: a time they got in bed (“11:30 PM”) and a time they got out of bed (“8:00 AM”). I need to calculate the number of minutes between these two times. @TomG suggested using luxon for this and the luxon manual for duration math seems relatively straightforward. However, without much familiarity with Javascript I am struggling to make this calculation. Help would be very appreciated!

I would like to set a quota on each of these matrix questions automatically. Each matrix question shouldn't be answered more than 10 times, in other words by more than 10 different participants.Detailed explanation: I don't want to set a quota manually for each matrix question, as it would be too long. Also, I receive feedback regularly from my co-authors, and it can happen that a new information/idea makes us change something within the questions/survey, that I would re-upload in qualtrics and re-do the quota process again. So an automatic way would fit better the iterative research collaboration approach. Hello, In my project, the response time is not getting consistently recorded in the corresponding embedded variable. If I run it 10 times, it gets recorded 6/10 times for example. What am I doing wrong? I am trying to create an interactive “game” using qualtrics. The rules of the game are the following:There is a button that I call Invest. If the survey-taker (call her S) clicks on the button first and before 10 seconds, the button disappears and she gets $x. The program itself might click that button, and if it does it first and before 10 seconds, the button disappears too, and S gets $y. If neither click by 10 seconds, S gets $z.Thus, I need a way to randomly generate the time when the program clicks the button, I do it by calling an embedded variable called ext1. And I want a way to measure when S clicks the button. I have pre-defined response time embedded variables RT1, RT2, etc for each iteration of the game, and I am trying to save the response times there.Here is my attempt at

We have set scope "manage:surveys" and "read:surveys" to our Client ID through web interface. We are toying with the idea of using Viva Adaptive Cards as an additional distribution channel for our enterprise surveys.  The individual cards should disappear after each employee has taken their survey but we are concerned about potential performance if we set the process up to work in near real-time.  We’re a bit gun-shy because IT took down Workday doing something similar for PTO cards. 😣  Nightly updating is acceptable, but more frequently would be ideal from a UX perspective. 

I have 3 surveys within a survey and I need to present a different image to participants based on 1. which treatment they were assigned and 2. how they answered the survey to which they were assigned. (example: show “example image” only for: Control condition, and participants who landed on “x y z” results page)Below is how I am randomizing treatment. “tid” stands for treatment ID and then I branch by “tid=1” and so on.
