I have a custom JavaScript and need to apply to all question in the block. Every question must be shown in a different page.I have a large 350 of blocks and respondents will be randomize into one block. Each block has 8 questions. To insert the JavaScript code in each question is unfeasible. Hi there, I’m trying to connect Qualtrics to Qlik (it is a data tool like power BI etc.). I see all the questions but missing some data, which I’m not sure if even possible (what is your experience when connecting?)Question type (multi select, single select, open-text...) Scale options (I only see the question text and not what are the possible answers) Statement options (the same, I do not get this at all).  Is there a way to add next to each quesion a tag that will be transfered as well? I want to tag questions (demographic, CX, sales… ) - so we know what the question is relate to.Thanks!

Hello to everyone.I’m working on a feedback survey for internal IS services. The survey is integrate with ServiceNow that is passing closed ticket data like short description, ticket number etc. through embedded data.In the survey there’s a multiple choice that should be populated with these data, the Short description for the text and the ticket number for the value. I wrote some Javascript but I got stuck here because I have no idea on how to add the options. var ticket0desc = Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.getJSEmbeddedData('ticket_0_shortdesc'); var ticket0number = Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.getJSEmbeddedData('ticket_0_number'); var container = Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.getInstance(this.questionId).getQuestionContainer();Maybe the multiple choice it’s not the best option, any suggestion is welcomed :)Thanks in adavance.

Hi everyone,I have a Vimeo video embedded in one of my survey questions. Hi,I’m trying to implement and A/B testing on a webpage using 2 different intercepts. Does anybody know how can I set 2 intercepts to be deployed in the same webpage but having them set as mutually exclusive?I was thinking maybe setting the Display Sample Rate as 50% for both, but not sure if this alone might work.Thanks,Daniel

Hi guys, I am new to qualtrics ApiWhen I am trying to run the python code for getting the bearer token. I get a error saying Max retries exceeded with url: /oauth2/token (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, '[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: self signed certificate in certificate chain.Does anyone know , how could this be solved?

Hi all,We have a survey embedded via Iframe with a sample rate of 100%. Since mid March, our impressions have apparently dropped by more than 50%. We have not made any changes to the survey or the page it is embedded in. Whenever we run tests on that page, the survey is successfully displayed and ‘Q Impress’ is also fired, hence we cannot reproduce any possible error. We are out of ideas, what caused the drop of impressions in our data. Is there anything else we could check? Many thanks!

Our digital impressions on all of our intercepts in the project have gone down significantly this past week and we can’t figure out why. Is there a setting or something that could be causing this?what are some things I could check? Any advice? I can’t see anything.   kevin

Hey, I have an issue I'm trying to resolve and past solutions in that matter didn’t help wellin my survey, there is a picture of 2 machines presented as the question and the participants need to choose either left or right.I tried to fix the alignment of the radio buttons using costume HTML and CSS codes unsuccessfully.I just want to align properly the radio buttons to fit underneath the picture.  and to make sure this alignment holds even if I'm using a mobile phone and not a laptop etc.link to the picture itself. 

Hi there, I know there's been a lot of discussion on adding the mouseover feature to the question, but I haven't been able to find a solution for adding this feature over the choice field. I'm trying to figure out how to add a hover/mouseover textbox in a Matrix table so that when a user hovers over the choices, they can see the definition associated with that particular text. The reason for this is some of the choices will contain definitions that people may not be familiar with so I'd like for them to be able to hover over that particular text, and see the definition. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, I have made a survey using a series of graphic questions with a hotspot. The participant clicks the hotspot of the option they prefer. I have the graphics and hotspot for each question but would like each of the questions that I have to either flip to show a different option or have an arrow which the participant can click on to show another option does anyone have some javaScript to do that please?

Hello everyone,I'm encountering issues with the integration of JavaScript to enhance survey functionality. Specifically, I need two main features:Star Rating System: Convert text boxes in a matrix question to a 1 to 5 star rating system. Percent Remaining Calculation: Display the remaining percentage for each row in a matrix question, ensuring that the sum of the values in each row equals 100%.Despite adding these scripts, they only seem to work in preview mode and not in the published survey. Hi ThereHas anyone successfully used the SuccessFactors task to pull in picklist values?This was working fine prior to the end of May and giving me the results I expected in English, since then this has started to randomly add translations. SAP are telling me this is expected behaviour as this is a one to many relationship  and I need to use middleware to parse out into English -There is no option in this  task to do that. Anyone out there do this or have experience?  For info suddenly integration canter is also behaving that way but we are being told nothing is wrong!ThanksSam        

Imagine that you have a long list of words and want to ask the following question: What do you think of <RandomWord>? One way you could do this is to have 10,000 different questions each with the text "What do you think of Apple" "What do you think of Cat?" etc... However, then you would get back a data file that had 10,000 null fields and just one field with an answer. Worse yet, if you asked for timeing you would get back 50,000 + null fields and Qualtrics will not export that many fields. Another, much better way to do it, would be to generate the question on the fly and then just have one question that had different text each time it was asked. The first is the default in Qualtrics, and there does not seem to be a way to do the second. Does anyone have an idea on how to do the second choice.

Hello, I’m facing some issues with the result I’m trying to achieve. To summarize, I want to export the data of my survey in Excel format in an automated way (weekly email), not having to go to the survey and manually export it. I am trying to achieve this through Python using the Qualtrics API token. Hello,I’d like partipants to answer “ first 2 letter of first name” & ‘first 3 letter of last name’ in the from field. How can I validate so that they can only enter 2 letters and 3 letters on that field? (new to the field) Thank you! 

I’m using the flat layout and would like to reduce the space between the footer and the question container. Is there a way to do this?  

I try to read through any previous answers to same/similar questions but coming from non technical background. I just can’t get it to work so apologies in advance.Issue:When multi line essays are triggered as email, no formatting is preserved. Hi There,I'm almost there, but I just cannot figure out the last part. I want to get the value from the embedded data field and let it select a multiple choice answer option for ONLY question: QID1215751872. The issue is that the below input jQuery works, but it then fills all questions on the page with answer code 1.I just want to target that one QID. The bottom two jQuery's seem to not work. List Users API returns a list of all users in the collection as expected. https://api.qualtrics.com/c9eeb409d7fe2-list-users However, when I set the username query parameter to that of a returned user, the List Users API returns 404 User not found... Has anyone else encountered this issue? 

Hi, I have 2 queries when using a drill down question box:Firstly: Is it possible to have a other + free text option? Eg:Q1. Name the countries and cities you have visited to?Country: Australia City: Sydney, Melbourne or 'Other - please state:'There would then be a free text box to complete.Secondly, I would like to add conditions so that respondents can add further answers to the same question. So if they provide a response, the question would repeat and they could answer same country, different city OR another country, again with various cities as options, plus the free text. This would continue until they no longer provide a further answer.If they didn't respond with anything to the first Q1 , then they would go onto the next question.Thank you!

Getting the following error intermittently when using the API to download the response data…Error transferring data: Failure when receiving data from the peer It works fine most of the time but takes error once in couple of weeks. Appreciate any thoughts/comments.

Hi all, I am building a survey from scratch using the API. I would like to add scoring to my questions.
