Hello community, We intend to use the data from Text IQ as 1st party data for Marketing communications. Is there a way to include the topic generated by the responder as part of the survey data export?I know the open text field can be exported from the ‘data and analysis’ tab, however, it’d be great to have the Text IQ topic this response is linked to.Thanks!

My counts in Stats IQ do not match the counts in my data set.  I believe it is because the deleted responses (due to fraudulent responses) were removed from my data set but still showing in Stats IQ.  How do I refresh the data so that the deleted responses are no longer there?  I’ve “import latest data” but that doesn’t seem to work.  Any suggestions?

Hi,I need help to know how that how can I present the results in graphical form. My question type is ‘Slider’. Is it possible that data can be displayed in graphical form automatically after completion of survey? How to generate graphs from the data on Qualtrics? Please guide asap. 

Hi i actually wanted a help out here in applying text iq on imported data from external resource. the column in which the verbatim is a placeholder in the import file and not the embedded data.and within text iq the column is not visibleso is there any way to get this applied on the imported data column

In one of my projects, I created multiple blocks that the participant would be sent down depending on how they answered the first question in the survey. The questions are mostly the same, but some blocks ask more questions and some blocks ask fewer questions. Is there a way to combine answers from the questions we asked everybody? For example, we asked all respondents in their blocks how long they have worked with "XYZ"...can we combine the responses from all of the blocks into one variable?

I’ve been using Crosstab iQ to create my reports, but one thing I can’t figure out (and maybe it’s not possible), but can I sort a table from high-to-low?  I need to report out multi-choice questions and similar sorted from high to low (with Other and DK anchored at the bottom).  Besides exporting to Excel and then sorting in Excel, is there a way to do this in the Crosstab iQ tool?

Hiya!Looking for a solution to combine multiple embedded data fields for breakouts and analysis.In the survey we used embedded data to identify different segments in our distribution list and build custom branches. This all worked perfectly.Now that I am analysing the data I have found I cannot combine the embedded data fields into one custom “group”.This means if I want to display answers side by side in a report, or analyze using statsIQ I have to run each segment individually.I believe this is because of how we setup the list with individual columns for each segment and only identifying by using “yes” or blanks like this:S1   |  S2  | S3Yes |        |         | Yes |  Is there any way to combine these fields so that I can create a breakout based on all 4, instead of creating 4 graphs…

Hi all, I’m trying to analyse the data from my experimental survey (with a control and an experimental group), in which both groups got to see a short video. I forgot to put a check question in there, so now I can’t determine in what group people belong and what video they saw, making my data practically useless. Is there anything I can do after the fact, or do I have to start data collection all over again? 

Hi there! I have a survey with 30 questions with the same answer scale (strongly disagree (1) ..., totally agree(5)). I need to calculate the average of 10 questions, for example, but when I try to create a new variable, I select function Average, but my 30 variables (questions) doesn't appear in the combo box for X, Y, etc. Just appear 3 other random variables like "progress", " latitude of location", "longitude of location". Can you help me, please?

It would be nice to have a statistics table as an available widget for the dashboards. Has anyone been able to create something similar for the CX dashboard?

I’m just starting out in utilizing the Text iQ feature and I appreciate the Topic Templates that we can import, is there a way I can create my own template of topics that is easily accessible with the other templates (rather than to upload a json file with each survey/dashboard) - with the ability to add/remove/update for future needs?

Hi, using the “Create or Clean variable” in StatsIQ I have made some variables, however, it is a large survey and I need to clean up variables I’m not using. These variables do not replace existing variables and should not interfere with the existing survey responses.  How can I delete these? The data table field editor does not show these to delete either.

Hello, I have a question related to the transformation of variables in linear regression within Stat iq.When we try to trasnform the variables to fit the model and improve the R2, and we apply the transformation x4 or x3 x2, I mean an exponential transformation.Qualtrics shows usI  want to know, why it happens, and how can I include the powers that Qualtrics mentioned.  Thank you in advance. 

About a year ago, I wrote a long post about Text iQ, as I didn’t find Text iQ helpful (at all).I’m going to give it another try, but I’m wondering if it has improved much? any?I spent a fair amount of time giving a good faith effort to learn it and use it, but I always came to the same conclusion - - - the bubbles / sentiment / etc. isn’t really working for me. Even if it’s minimally helpful, I always told the stakeholder - “You still have to read all the comments carefully to best understand what the respondents are saying.”I’m at a 4 year college, typically we get no more than 2,000 comments. That’s really not all that many, but still it’s like a weeks worth of work to give a close reading of the comments and do some amount of categorization.An example of a text question we have is “What did you like least about your college experience?” Then they spill their guts, as it’s a loaded question. Hello! 😀 I am new Qualtrics and haven't found any guides on the following:I am looking to compare pre and post scores from two identical matrices (delivered in the same survey) but am not sure how best to represent these in a Report? I know I can include the separate data tables for each matrix along with visuals (bar charts) that have both the pre and post metrics inside them. That said, I don't see a way to include a comparative analysis inside of a Report (p-value or t-value for instance). Can I export or use any analyses done inside of Stats IQ or CrossTabs IQ for my reporting?Thanks 😅

Hi all,I've recently received a raw data file in Excel from an agency and wanted to run my own analysis in Qualtrics. When I uploaded the file, I noticed that the file's columns are split by each answer option instead of containing all answers for that question in one column (and instead of an answer it just translates the binary 1s and 2s into Yes and No). It looks something like that:QID1_1 QID1_2 QID1_3 etcYes No NoNo Yes NoYes Yes NoHence, when I try to build some crossbreaks, I can't see the whole question, Does anyone know how I could re-format the datafile to have all answer options under one column? I'm in stats iQ for imported data and I want to display the result for a select all question by percentage of responses (the % of respondents that selected option 1.) What I'm seeing now is a percent for every combination of options selected (the % of respondents who selected option 3 AND option 5). In the regular reporting feature for data collected via a survey it defaults to displaying by percent of responses, so this seems to be a feature in Qualtrics overall, but not stats IQ. Is this accurate that this isn't possible in stats iQ?I found a really time consuming workaround which is filtering by each response option, collecting the response count for each one, then calculating the percent outside of Qualtrics using the total sample size. I feel like there must be a better way! I appreciate and support or insight on this topic. Thank you!

Hi there!I have had to download the translation file in my survey to translate some elements of my drill-down questions.When I try to upload back the file into Qualtrics, I get an error. Looks like the format of the CSV I am trying to upload is not correct. Comparing my file with the initial one downloaded from Qualtrics, I see the language columns are within quotation marks.Here on the left you can see the file directly downloaded from Qualtrics, while on the right my .csv already translatedHow can I export from excel a CSV where language columns are within quotation marks?Thanks!

Hello! I have a survey with about 10 questions on it and I am hoping to see what percentage of users are dropping off on each question. So based on those who started the survey, how many completed question 1? how many completed question 2? and so on. Any ideas?
