I’m looking for a way to force a response to the top-level question in a drill down, without forcing a response to other levels in the drill down. Any suggestions?

Hi,I’ve got a web service that intentionally can receive 2 status codes: 200 and 409.I like to use this status code (given in the response header) for further conditions...do something in case of 200, do something else in case of 409.With the 200 I can work as usual, but in case the response is 409 Qualtrics shows the task as failed. Following code tasks (or other tasks) are then obviously not able to consume the status code of this “failed” web service task.Do you have an idea how to deal with this situation?Thank you!

I'm experiencing a strange issue with my survey flow in Qualtrics. Here's the situation:When a respondent selects "No" on the “consent question” for the first time, they are correctly redirected to a “confirmation question” where they are asked “are you sure”, and if they click “Yes” the survey ends, and by pressing “No” they are sent back to the “consent question” again. Then if they then go back to the “consent question”, select "No," again they and are redirected to the confirmation page again, everything works as intended so far. The problem arises when they return to the “consent question” the second time around and click "No" again. Instead of being redirected back to the “confirmation page”  (as it should), they are immediately taken to the next question, bypassing the “consent question” where they should confirm they’ve read the information and wish to participate.I want to ensure that respondents cannot access the rest of the study without pressing yes on the “consent question

HI,I should insert an indicator in the dashboard that shows me how many times there are unique values in the dataset with respect to a certain embedded data.Example I have 4 answers with an embedded data ProjectCode valued like this:ax11122ax11122ax11123ax11124The count distinct should return 3 because there are 4 answers with 3 unique values of the embedded data ProjectCode.How can I set a "number chart" to return this result?Thank you

I have a drill down question where the first level asks the participant to select a county. I would like to save the index value for the county that the participant selects into an embedded data field called “CountyPick.” Right now I have this code:     var CountySelection = " ${q://QID23/ChoiceGroup/SelectedAnswers/1}"     Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('CountyPick', CountySelection);     This is saving the name of the county, instead of the index value for the county. Does anyone know how I can capture the index?

I have a survey that collects responders’ contact info. A response to the survey generates an initial ticket. A status change in the initial ticket generates a second ticket. Once the second ticket is closed, I would like to automatically send a follow-up survey to the responder. However, I want this follow-up survey to be sent approximately 2 months after the second ticket is closed. Looking for suggestions on how I might go about this! TIA!

I am working on a survey that will be distributed via anonymous link, email, website, and mobile SDK (app). Some of the questions within the survey will only be displayed depending on what distribution channel the survey is being taken on (i.e. “How would you rate your experience completing your transaction using the app?”). Is anyone aware of what the Q_CHL (Distribution Channel) embedded data would equal for each of these distribution channels? I believe for anonymous link, Q_CHL = Anonymous link, and for email Q_CHL = Email. I believe it may be Q_CHL = Site Intercept for website intercepts. Very unsure about website or and especially app.The survey has not gone live via email, app, or web yet so I cannot look at the embedded data values for Q_CHL to figure this out.Thank you in advance!

Hi, I would like to adjust the width of the multiple choice button shown in the picture to be the same width as the text boxes. I have this set up as two different questions to display together on the same page: the form fields on top and a multi select multiple choice with only one answer option (with the question text set to white) below. I assume this can be done with javascript on the multiple choice question, but every option I have tried from searching this site and others has failed so far. Thanks. 

I have set up a new survey project for our Contact Us on the website. When responses are received, I have Tickets generated and assigned to a Team named Guest Relations. This is because I have a bank of volunteers and myself who help respond and close out the tickets.  However, on my Dashboard to report the progress and status of these Tickets, in the table widget to show Ticket By Owner, the Guest Relations name does not appear. Has anyone found a solution for this? We are using a Team to avoid having to create randomly assigned tickets and avoid the Queuing system. Thanks! 

Hello Community,I am working on two surveys that are gathering data on incident reports, one for Compliance (Clery Act, specifically crime classification) and the other for Records (quality assurance). We both are charting incident report numbers, so that answer repeats in the Compliance and Records responses.As a result of how we work, the Compliance team is always ahead of the Records team in reviewing reports from the relevant database.Is there a way that I can push Compliance information into the Records survey and have it trigger emails when Records completes a review of the same report? We already have email triggers set on the Records survey when QA issues are noted.For example, Compliance reviews report number 152 on Monday and notes a misclassified crime on the survey. Records reviews 152 on Tuesday and notes a date error in the report narrative. The Records survey has an email trigger set that will notify the report approver of the error, but we want to pull in the Compliance

Hi All,I need help. I am trying to have a branch using embeded data. If Role = Student, the survey block should be activated. But it doesn’t do that right now. The survey goes right to the end. In short the embeded data branch using role is not working. What am I doing wrong here?Thank you!  

Is there any way to force the feedback button creative to open the survey in a new tab, instead of a new window? I think that is a better user experience that opening in a new window, please let me know. Thank you!

I’ve had a ticketing workflow functioning for a about a year and half now. During that time, once the follow up questions were completed and “Submitted” Qualtrics would show a pop-up asking if the user wanted to close the ticket. That stopped today. Does anybody know why? Outside of a ticketing workflow to change the status, is there an easy way to bring that feature back? People often forget to close the ticket if not prompted. 

I would like to create a pop-up creative that on the intent to exit pop up with a suggestion to fill out a survey. I would like to have multiple action buttons: remind me next time send the survey over email take me to the surveyCan I please have a guidance of how to get it done, taking into account the intercept brings the email so I know it. How I create the buttons? is there a way that the interaction with the button starts a worflow or send an email or do an action that is “behind the scene” without the customer intervention? I’m a bit lost :(

Hi Qualtrics Team,We have been trying to reach the Qualtrics finance team via phone and email regarding our invoices but have not received any response. We also contacted our account representative to help connect us with someone who can address our query.Last year, we upgraded to CoreXM Advanced one month before our previous plan ended (9/26/2022 - 9/25/2023). It appears we were charged full license amount for both that month (8/31/2023 - 9/25/2023) and the full year after (8/31/2023 - 8/30/2024). While our account executive acknowledged this issue via email, we have yet to receive a refund for the overpayment.Could you please assist us in resolving this matter? I have invoices and payment details that I can share if someone from Qualtrics can reach out to us via email.Thank you for your help!

The export options that I remember from a previous version no longer seem to exist, or at least I can’t find them.I used to use the options described in this answer Can someone help please? Thank you. It is a very simple design - between participants who hear one of three audio files, with the the preceding and following block a short questionnaire completed by all. Thank you

Every time when I want to export my data responses, I would like to export only a certain number of responses. However, when I select the checkboxes in the data analysis tab, I can only download the entire responses, rather than the selected ones. The checkbox is not working properly. How can I solve this problem?

Hi, I want to randomize the order of groups in a Pick, Group, & Rank Question. Can anyone help me how it can be done?Regarding groups, there is only one option: Use columns (Yes / No) that changes the arrangement of groups (vertical or horizontal) but doesn’t help in randomizing the order in which groups are displayed and groups show up exactly the same way in which we enter them in the question leaving any option to randimize the order in which they appear.The fundamental task is to classify the options, say, A, B, C, D into two groups X and Y. I want the order of X and Y to be randomized. Any better ways to perform it instead of Pick, Group, & Rank Question are also welcome.Can anyone please help me?Thanks in advance.

Is there a way for a Brand Administrator to see all projects across all users? I'm trying to drill down to see/manage our license. There is an option to export Consumption and Activity but I'm looking for a feature where I can actual manage the projects.

Here's the issue: I have a buch of KPI's in the survey which respondents can rate on a likert-scale. I recoded the Likert values to a 10-point scale (7.5 for “agree” etc). In both the Results page and the Dashboard I want a widgets which shows the 10 highest and the 10 lowest scoring KPI's out of basically all the Likert-scale questions.There must be a way to do this with the Table widget, but I can't seem to make it work. Ideas?
