HI I have embedded data for (start and end dates) and start and end time, it was working fine. I recently notice it is no longer capturing these details on my survey. I will appreciate any directions.  The start and end time are the most important for me. Thanks

I manage a few different internal surveys and generally use 2 reminders after the initial survey invite. I’m using the Qualtrics email functionality so reminders just go to people who haven’t completed the survey and the number of responses are usually split like this - Initial invite = 40-50%, 1st reminder = ~30%, and 2nd reminder = 20-25%.For one survey I’m getting asked to just use 1 reminder. Two reminders doesn’t seem excessive to me and it just seems like if I only use one I’d lose 20-25% of responses so I looked if there were any best practices but couldn’t find anything. So at the moment its just a difference of opinion over whether the extra reminder will irritate people getting the survey which trumps any any data/stats.So are there any industry best practices on reminders that includes the number of reminders? We suggest a Search Feature within Sample Creation Menu where this functionality is already there for mailing list. Would save a lot of time searching through past projects. 

I am conducting a survey with 2,000 individuals and have noticed a significant number of high RelevantID Fraud Scores (score of 30 or higher). I am seeking clarification on what this indicator represents and how it should be interpreted. Additionally, there are other indicators such as Q_RelevantIDDuplicate, Q_RecaptchaScore, and Q_BallotBoxStuffing, which capture different types of fraud activities. How do these differ from the RelevantID Fraud Score? This issue is particularly puzzling because when I cross-validate the data without excluding respondents with a RelevantID score of 30 or higher, my dataset aligns more closely with the national sample compared to when I exclude these respondents.

Hi,I’m an absolute beginner to Qualtrics, but I’d like to get user feedback on a floating gif/video next to text in a qualtrics question, which means I need to add a floating gif to a Qualtrics question. I’d like to keep it stickied in place in the bottom right corner. Could someone help me create the code for this in iFrame, unless there’s a better way to do it, add a fixed float position to css? I found a previous post with code for iFrames for Qualtrics, but the post no longer exists.I found an article online that talks about embedding a video that floats: https://www.cssigniter.com/make-sticky-floating-videos-page-scroll/ and I can get the video to appear, but I can’t get it to autoplay or float which means I’d need to use a gif. Hi, I’m having a problem to realize a validation. I attach my questionnaire design below.I have two questions. In the first question, participant will fill a number with maximum of 100.If this number is smaller than 100, participants will fill two numbers in the second questions. I want to set the validation to make sure the sum of these two numbers is exactly the difference between 100 and the number they filled in the first question.For example, if I put 20 in the first question, I should put two numbers in the second question with the sum equals to 80. How could I realize this validation in the second question? I would like a 'save' button in the library. The automatic save does not function properly for me. I waste time hoping it will save after all of my changes have been made and then waste more time going back to check that it captured everything - some of the time, it does not update with all of the changes I made. I want a 'Save' button that allows me to control when I save. 

Hello, I would like to export the signature ID from the signature question using a workflow into a google sheet I am trying to build a workflow that sends my survey data into a google sheet but need this signature unique ID and do not see the option to map it in a workflow. Any suggestions?

I need to customize the Slider’s progress line to display a different color than the default. For instance, if a respondent selects 25% on a 100% slider, the first 25% of the slider should be a different color from the rest of the bar. Also if we can add interval ticks that will be helpful as well. Example Shown in SS attached. Any assistance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Never had this issue before, but Qualtrics is excluding chunks of emails for “duplicates” in my Directory even though I have embedded data that makes them unique rows. Never had this issue before and have been doing it this way for years.

Hello everyone,I have a question that you might be able to answer. I rely on the swarm intelligence.I have a data set with more than 50 variables for a question (recodes of an unaided brand awarnes), each variable contains a brand and the remaining responses are filled with 0.I would now like to merge these and exclude the "0" so that I get the total number of brand mentions at the end.I have tried it with "Add new Variable" and "Combine" but this has not led to the desired result because the "0" values were simply taken over and you can only combine a maximum of about 20 variables.Perhaps someone else has already had this problem and has a solution

In the Qualtrics MaxDiff survey after the MaxDifff block I added a single matrix table question (In it’s own block) using the maxdiff format. The statements are using images formatted in medium graphic size and also allowed the “Show full size when clicked” option. When I test this question on the desktop version it works great, but when I test on mobile it skips the question to the next block. I thought maybe it was because there was text also in the statement, so I removed all the text so it was just images and still no luck. I checked the survey flow and the block is in line with the maxdiff block and the next block with no skip logic. Not sure why this is not showing up. Any thoughts?

I sent a few test email invites to a company domain, hotmail and gmail. The body of the email includes ${rand://int/1:99999}.The gmail account stopped receiving the emails.I have edited the from name, subject and email body and now no email domains are receiving the survey.Will someone please let me know how to resolve this?Thank you very much. 

Hi, I am working on a survey and find myself in a bit of a hiccup.Trying to work on a research involving participants to fill a Screener Survey (1), which redirects to a Questionnaire URL (Survey 2). I am trying to keep Survey 2 free of any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) whilst being able to track the completion status for each user against their PII on the Screener Survey. Beyond that, trying to allocate a Custom Reference Code to each Screener Entry. This is custom eg. OX-QL-01 (02, 03, so on) for each consecutive entry.Is this possible to achieve?

I recoded my values from 6-1 which show in parenthesis when exporting to Word doc, but there are additional values shown next to my coded values. How do I change those?  I tried the Variable Naming option and that does not seem to change the values shown on the export.   

I’ve created a new variable so that I can “bucket” annual revenue into categories to describe the size.  For example - annual revenue of $50,000 is bucketed into a new variable/category labelled <$100K in Revenue.I now want to use that new categorical variable (Labelled:  Revenue Amount Buckets) in my Reports Tab.  I want to create a visual that shows Number of Closed Sales by Revenue Amount Buckets.  I can see the new variable I created in the Crosstabs tab and StatsIQ tab but I don’t see it in Reports.  Is there something I’m supposed to do so I can use the new variable when building my Report? 

Hi all, Is there any way for respondents to bulk upload their data from an Excel sheet into a survey response? The old data submission format for a questionnaire was an Excel sheet with 20 columns and a row for every response. I was wondering if there is any way for respondents to pull this data from the Excel sheet and easily transfer their responses into a Qualtrics survey. My only other idea was creating a side-by-side question, but that would take respondents a veryyyy long time to complete. Is there any way to automate this process? Thanks!

I have added filters to a number chart to show the number of people that responded to the top box in each of 3 specific questions (very satisfied, very likely to recommend, very likely to continue as customer). The output is the number of respondents that meet all the filter conditions. I would like to display the output as a percent of total respondents instead.I don’t see how I can add calculations to a number chart or add filters to Custom Metrics or Calculations. Do I need a different widget type?

Hi,Is there a way to automatically answer several questions at the same time e.g. with an option like select all? I have several long tables in which yes or no selection is possible.It is very annoying to have to answer all individual points with Yes or No if all answers are No anyway. Hello! I am asking respondents a total of 4 matrixes. In matrix 1 (QID9), there are 5 variables displayed.In matrix 2 and 3, all 5 variables are carried forward to keep statement randomization order. In matrix 4 (QID14), I need to drop the 4th variable as the question doesn’t really apply. However, I’d like to carry forward the other variables and keep randomization order. As the point is to keep randomization order, I cannot use “Advanced Randomization” to hide the 4th variable. Is there anything I can do to hide that variable while keeping order? Instinct tells me Javascript...

Hello, I am trying to create a question to calculate a “Risk Score” based on answers to previous questions.The previous questions contain recode values that are already in Qualtrics. Here is the intended calculation for Risk Score: If the count of the recode values is >= 17, then take the sum of the recode values. Otherwise, return “N/A” to the user. Attached below is what I currently have, but the output always comes out as Risk Score: “N/A” even when it should be returning a value. If anyone could provide any guidance as I am not proficient in Java Script, that would be greatly appreciated! This is also a link to a prior conversation I was having regarding this problem but I am still having some confusion:  

I am trying to digitize a learning inventory but I’m struggling on how to adapt it to a qualtrics survey.On the paper format, participants would have the directions to rank a set of four words (going across) and assign a numerical value of 1-4 to them with each word having a different number.
