Hello! I am trying to customize some carry forward statements. I have a constant sum question and I want to carry forward the top 5 statements by inputted numerical value from that into my next question. Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi everyone, Previously, I have added in the code below to change the word "Next" to "Submit" in the Survey Summary page. Hi, I work for a university and our computing group would like to send out a "checklist" asking all faculty and staff to confirm all the documented computer & printing equipment in their possession. In turn, faculty/staff need to confirm (by reviewing and submitting their survey) that their relative listing is correct, and if not, provide the correct info. They would like to perform this on a yearly basis. I have researched this extensively on the community and the closest thing I was about to find was a question by bfaser "Using a survey to create checklist" https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/3988#Comment_3988. All the information is provided by the computing group and will reside in the my contact panel (Name, email, computer 1, computer 2, printer 2, printer 2, etc). Hello smart people I have this question: ! The statements in the left column each have a display logic: only when a respondent filled in a name for "family member 1/2/3" or "friend 1/2/3" (etc.) will this statement (i.e. the name; which is piped text) be shown. I'd like to add a "request response" to this question, but only when respondents have unanswered more than half of the shown questions. Say, someone gets displayed 8 names. If this respondent fills in 6 questions, but not 2, that person should just be able to continue with the survey without being "pestered" by the response request. If this respondent leaves more than 4 questions unanswered, I'd like to nudge him to consider answering. The easy solution is just to "request response" for the whole question in itself (regardless of how many statements get shown). I have a user that plans to conduct a survey in part using the Mac built in screen reader capabilities. It works by highlighting (such as dragging with a mouse) from one point to another and hitting an assigned key combo. Their survey is all multiple choice questions, and this CAN work by highlighting the entire question/answer section and having it read the question followed by each answer in succession with no real break or gap - however it doesn't appear that any of the default Qualtrics themes allow you to "drag" highlight only a single answer - any ideas how I might be able to help this user? Hello! I intend to use R to analyze my survey data, but have run into some trouble. The data I have exported into R with the API seems to be up-to-date in the sense that all surveys entered in the relevant Qualtrics project are present in the export, including some very recent surveys. However, there are discrepancies between what I see in the "Data & Analysis" tab and the data-set I end up with in R. It seems that edits made manually in the "Data & Analysis" tab aren't manifesting in the data I get through the API. Anyone have a clue what might be going on? It's been weeks since any edits were made to the data through the Qualtrics browser pages. Some more detail: I have encountered the problem with both the qualtRics and qualtricsR packages. I switched the classification of four surveys and added some missing data in mid-August through the browser, but these changes are not reflected in the data frame I end up with. I've noticed that some of my colleagues are not utilizing mobile-friendly features, and would like to give them real data on how our population accesses surveys.

I'm using API v3.0 to get survey responses. If I set the start/end times to pull data every 30 minutes it doesn't grab surveys in taht time frame, but if I set start/end times to pull every 24 hours that works leading me to believe that the API is ignoring the time portion of this parameter if its within the same day. Is that correct or is something wrong with my date/time parameters?

Hi everyone, I am designing a survey where I will ask participants to input start and end time of an activity in a matrix type question and for that I am planning to use the time picker function in java (see this link). However, I cannot figure out how to apply this java code to specific fields in the matrix type question (see the attached image below). Does anyone maybe know how this would be possible? I've seen some answers that get close to this question, but nothing that hits it right on. I have ~1500 students who are taking a variety of ~500 courses (the courses have student enrollment of 6 to 120, most are in the range of 10 to 20). I would like to survey the professors of each course, presenting them with an alphabatized multiple-answer list of the students enrolled in their course, so they can select students that they have concerns about. The choices that they make in this first question will then be carried over to subsequent questions, so that I can drill-down into the reasons for the professor's concerns. I think I see a way to do this by having a giant question with all the students listed, and then using answer display logic to show or not show them based on embedded data in the contacts (one contact for each course, one embedded data field for each student). Has anyone successfully used textboxes and embedded data to screen by a specific age group or set using survey flow? If so, can you share your solution?

I have created a form for students to select tutorial groups. Its designed to so that they on they only choose groups that don't clash and are not full. I have put quotas for their choices. However the quotas are not updated until after students complete the form. Is there anyway for the number times a group is selected to update as soon as a student has chosen it whilst they are completing the form. So to prevent choices been made for already filled groups. Is there any way to do this?

I have a matrix table (likert) with a 5 point scale. I would like to have a vertical line between each column of answers for visual clarity. I have used JS to create a vertical line separating the last multiple choice option (to separate "Don't know" from the rest of the options) but how can I create this vertical separator line for all columns? I know how to add static text after a text entry box, but I'm trying to get survey participants to submit two text entries in two boxes in a "form" style; for example: {ENTRY BOX 1} hours and {ENTRY BOX2} minutes How can I code this in javascript, so that the static text is in the right place? Hi there, I have included Facebook login Javascript SDK to create a social login button and display participants' Facebook user picture in Qualtrics. One problem I am facing is that displaying the user picture works fine the very first time I want to show it, but not anymore on follow up pages (i.e. after clicking the next button). The same applies to the social login button, but I only need that to show that once anyway, so that's not really a problem. I've tried simply copying the Javascript code to the question where I also want to show the user picture, as well as adding it to the header in the look&feel, but I cannot get it to work. It works fine for the first question I use it in (regardless of where in the survey it is), but not for any follow-up questions. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
