Survey Platform

Hello I have set up a workflow event that send an email if someone leaves their email address at the end of the survey. In workflow, the subject line looks like this: However, when this email is received, the email subject line has “"Qualtrics Survey" inserted at the beginning: Is there a way to remove "Qualtrics Survey" in the subject line, and replace it with our own company name?  thank you for your help! Zoe

I have created the following experiment:The first blocks are general, and should be visible for everyone. The general blocks Then there are the condition specific blocks. They should be randomized so people should see:Translations B2 (short) followed by Answers B2 (short) and then Translations B2 A2 (extended) followed by Answers B2 (extended) followed by Answers A2 (extended)And other groups should see:Translations B2 A2 (extended) followed by Answers B2 (extended) followed by Answers A2 (extended) and then Translations B2 (short) and then Answers B2 (short)  They then all should see the reflection block: If I randomize the blocks, I cannot randomize the cluster of blocks (so eg Translations B2 & Answers B2) because the order gets mixed up.  I thought about making two versions and then linking those versions to each other and then randomize the order of cluster of blocks by clicking the qualtrics link.  I hope you can help me out!

There is much debate on my team about the reliability of panel survey data. I have found that our survey scores tend to be much higher when conducted by panel, in comparison to our surveys that are directly sent to our customers via email. I’m curious to hear others’ thoughts on how trustworthy they think panel data is. And how do you combat false responses or bots when conducting a panel study?

Hi,Can somebody guide on how to extract the data tables and graphs to an excel or word sheet from Qualtrics survey?  Kind Regards,

I have an email trigger set up to report a variety of subscores from a survey. This email gets sent to the same person every time a survey is completed. Here is what the summary email looks like:Score A = 10Score B = 15Score C = 11 Each score has a different cut-off number (anything above that number is relevant). I want the score (which is being displayed in the email trigger using piped text) to either be highlighted red or the text color to be red if that number meets the cut-off. So, for example, if the cut-off score is equal to or greater than 11, the email summary above would instead look like this:Score A = 10Score B = 15Score C = 11 I am assuming custom code is needed to achieve this, and that I would need conditional formatting for each set of piped text (since each score has a different cut-off number). Please note that I am a total novice when it comes to html code, so please be basic in your instructions. Thank you!

I just closed my survey and realised that the data did not capture participant from country one or two has watched which video. How do I salvage this without doing the whole survey again?

I am currently doing a survey for university. Will qualitrics allow me to do a report showing results by gender for example, x females answered yes for question 1, and y males answered yes for question 1, and so on.

Hi everyone,Rather than having participants list their thoughts (which would already create multiple separate fields), I’d like participants to provide paragraph response. Would it be possible for Qualtrics to then automatically separate these paragraphs by individual sentences in order for participants to rate the valence of those responses later in the survey? Thanks!

Hi Community,  I am looking for a way to download multiple images from Qualtrics library, is there any method? I have around 150 images… Thanks.

Hi  Community, hope you’re doing great.I would like to know, is there any way we can take textIQ topics as embedded data to be able to export that information to Salesforce with its workflow? Regards!

I am creating a very large survey - upwards of 50 questions.  When I run a report, can I have the report automatically set to run only data from subsets of the questions ie: average weighted mean of questions 1-7, another report that runs the average weighted mean of questions 7-20?  Is this possible? How would I do so?

So I work at a college as an advisor for students. Sometimes when I meet with a student, they ask for really specific resources available to them. While meeting with student, I’m required to complete a document outlining what I spoke to the student about. The issue that I run into is if the student needs specific resources, I’m wondering if there is a clean way to add hyperlinks, or clickable link in a question’s response field so that when I submit the form, its sent to them with all the links intact. Right now, I have to write down all the resources separately, then send them the form and a separate email with links attached. Which is typically lost or misplaced. Please let me know if there is a way to do this. Not sure if it would require the question to include rich text or not.

How to integrate Qualtrics x D2L in an anonymous search (It can't save IP) , so that:A. the D2l student can answer the qualtrics assessment once; and B. the teacher in D2L can’t ansewr, but he/she can see the results as of a specific date?

I feel like this is an easy answer, but I can’t find the solution! Our survey will be distributed with a link (ie we don’t have people’s email addresses already)  At the end of the survey, we would like to ask people to leave their email address for future correspondence. What is the best way to do this? Next, if they leave an email address, we’d like to send an automatic email to them to say thank you How do we implement these steps?  thanks for your help  zoe

Good day Everyone! - Is there any way, if we do not capture the term data in the survey, can we still see this in the term report?

Hi! I have a series of URLs and confirmation codes for payment. I'm trying to figure out how to display each participant's confirmation code in Qualtrics based on their specific URL. I attempted to use the loop and merge function (+ piped text), but I'm unsure of how to connect the code field with the corresponding URL. Can you provide any guidance on how to accomplish this task?Thank you!

I need to send three separate surveys to the same sample population. I intend to send the surveys from Qualtrics directly. I need a way to tie the survey results from all three surveys back to the person who filled them out so I can see each person’s responses across all three surveys. All three surveys will be spaced out about two weeks. For example, if the dealdine to finish survey 1 is October 1, then survey two will not be sent out until October 15. None of the surveys will link to the other surveys becasue they will be taken at separate times.Questions:I know I need a unique identifer. What is the best way to set this up based on the use case above? Right now, I have this set us as three separate projects, each with one survey. Is it better to have this as one project with three surveys? Is there a way that once all three surveys are complete the data from each survey can be downloaded in an Excel file all together? So, if person X takes all three surveys, then I get an excel file

Hello, anyone using Qualtrics for learning and knowledge management space, Can you share how you are using, is it a good platform for same etc.

Hello I have a multiple choice question.I would like the answers of that question to carry forward so help complete a question later on. for example: Question - “What type of waste-collection device do you use?”Choices Bin  Toilette paper  Pooper scooper BagAnswers might be: Bin  Toilette paper Later question is: “How much do you spend on waste collection devices, including: [Answer carried forward: Bin] [Answer carried forward: Toilette paper] Is this possible? thank you for your help!  Zoe

Hello I have a list of choices, which I then carry forward into the next question. the question is: “Which types of hygiene waste have you disposed from your home most frequently over the past 30 days?”The choices include: Nappies  Wet-wipes  Pet animal faeces & urine Pet litter / bedding The next question, which carries forward the answers selected asks: which types of hygiene products have you purchased because they were labelled “biodegradable” or “compostable”? Obviously I don’t want to carry over “Pet animal faeces & urine” because no-one buys that 😅Is there a way to omit an answer if selected in this instance?  thanks for your help  Zoe

I am conducting a survey with three different experimental conditions, and I have organized the survey using the 'group' option (in this case I use 3 groups for 3 conditions) under a randomizer. My sample size is 600 participants, and I need to ensure that each condition has an equal number of participants (i.e., 200 participants per condition). How can I achieve this in Qualtrics? Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi allIs it possible to add a library file to dashboard distribution email?

Hi all, I have a survey that will be sent with an external reference (?wesref=12345). This allows me to have a question with passed information that says:Q1. “Your wes reference is 12345. Is this correct?”Yes NoIf they select yes the survey Q2 should not be displayed. If they select no, Q2 will display:Q2. “Please enter your reference number.”However, if the respondent ends up at the survey from the link without the external reference, I want to only display Q2. I’ve managed to get it work by having two instances of the second question, but when I click “in page” it reverts back to the single Question-based logic. Is there a way to set the display logic with Question OR Embedded Data and still have Q2 “in page”.I hope this makes sense, it’s a bit hard to describe. My logic is below: Thanks!

Does the constant sum total show up in the data set? I would like that info to be in the data set so I don't have to calculate it after the fact.

When I tried exporting my date using SPSS format, responses were automatically recoded into numeric points, that’s good. But, the numbers assigned to each point were weird and unnatural (as follows, the labels are my original option texts, the values are numbers automatically recoded, I don’t know why 8 was recoded as 9, so as 9 and 10), how to fix this?
